I stopped here on a solo road trip when passing through Sedona. The place: Good wifi, lots of seating, not crowded(at least for the few hours while I was there). Nice and clean. The barista on shift was nice(I think her name was Jennifer?) and made a good recommendation when I asked her where I should eat before hitting the road. She also offered to tell the loud skateboarders out front to go somewhere else(although I didn’t mind). The coffee: Strong. Like, really strong. And I’m used to strong coffee: I live in the SF bay area, one of those regions in the US where good, strong coffee is ubiquitous. As far as the taste of the coffee, it was a very dark roast(Starbucks-ish) and not my preference, but it was better than I expected to find in Cottonwood/Sedona. The bottom line: I’ll definitely hit this place up if I come back to the area and I want some coffee and wifi.

The atmosphere is great: a common bookshelf, local artwork for sale decorating the walls, local business and event listings by the front door. The employee was friendly, made a decent Iced Mocha, a little strong and very expensive though. The price for the size was what struck me most, I admit. I could’ve gotten twice that size for half the cost at McD’s, but if supporting local business is a principle you care about, give this place a try. They had a great drink selection that I intend to go back for.

Stopped here for a late morning Fix. Sara was charming and helpful. Coffee is great and customer service was outstanding. We managed to drop a cup due to Ill fitting lids in the parking lot and Sara fixed us right up with another latte.

It would have been a 5 star review except the coffee was way too strong for my taste… however they have great tea! May I recommend the jasmine or the kiwi — strawberry? A group of us have been meeting here on Sunday mornings to hear our favorite local musician, Dave Rentz. It’s almost like being in your own living room, and with her friendliness and great service, Sara has made us feel right at home! I love the Wi-Fi bar and the cozy atmosphere with big comfy chairs. There’s also tables and chairs should that be your preference… Love to read? They have several shelves of «take a book — leave a book» … an eclectic selection! Small items, including some great tie-dies, are for sale, as are some muffins and other baked goods. Oh and look up at the very cool ceiling. Try it! I think you’ll like it!

Yummy almond milk latte! Rich and creamy! Of you are staying near the 260/89a intersection, it’s an easy walk or drive.

I love my local coffee shop! Great price and great service. When you go make sure to look UP! The ceiling is incredibly cool and so is the wifi bar they have along the wall! I usually always get tea only because I’m not a big coffee drinker but my fiancé gets a large americano; it’s STRONG and for only $ 3.03 it’s a deal! Once this place opened I never stepped foot into Starbucks again. Stop by on Sunday night and listen to local musicians.

I was ok with this place until I pulled up and saw an employee come out with 2 of the large coffee cups full of water and put them down on the sidewalk for dogs that were passing by. I don’t even let my own dog drink out of the same dishes that I used! No way would I order anything from here anymore.

First time in I ordered a carmel macchiato. We just moved here and in our last small town we had an awesome coffee shop. The one I ordered there was horribly over espresso’d and super bitter. It was undrinkable so I threw it away. My husband ordered his Chai and it is an extra charge for flavor and the chai was not drinkable for him and he is former military and law enforcement so he is used to really bad drinks. My kids did thoroughly enjoy their hot chocolate with caramel so it wasn’t a total waste of a trip. But we will not be back. The barista’s did seem superbly sweet and the shop itself was nice. Just wish the drinks tasted well drinkable.

I stopped here for a caffeine fix while visiting my mom(who has no coffee machine/press/instant whatsoever), and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the espresso. I love a good bold roast, and Chase’s definitely delivered. The guy who rang me up was friendly and helpful, as many of the locals here seem to be. Planning on stopping here again before I leave.

This place was great. A lot of locals seemed to be there as everyone conversed like old friends. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full list of fresh squeeze juices available. I got«The soother»… which had apple, ginger, lemon, kale,… and maybe something else. It was delicious, not overly green(for those who are scared of green drinks) and only cost me 5 bucks and change. That is reallllllly a good price for fresh squeezed green juice. I am used to paying upwards of $ 10! Happily, I plopped down on a comfortable squishy chair with my laptop and my green juice, watched the locals chit chat and did some work.

My lady & I visit her granddad in Cottonwood monthly and need a pick me up recently. Wow. This is probably one of the two best quality coffee drinks I’ve had in my life time. Period. I am serious. Come here. Drink coffee. Eat a muffin. Love life.

I was looking for an open coffee shop on the way back to Phoenix and the simple red glow of the word«coffee» looked like an oasis amid all the early-closing shops in small-town Cottonwood. He’s done a superb job transforming a run-of-the-mill strip mall space into a spacious, comfortable, smartly-decorated and functional coffee house. He has a designer’s eye and keeps from crossing the line of «tacky» that you so often see in small town Arizona mom’n’pop cafes. The menu covers all the bases and even had some of the less common drinks available, like Red Eyes. There’s even a good selection of non-coffee drinks in the cooler, like yerba mate and kambucha. The biggest plus though is he makes a great drink. My wife thought her macchiato was one of the better ones she’s had, and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his craft. Homemade is probably the best way to describe the overall impression of the shop and the products.

Four stars for a cozy location and really friendly service. They have a nice setup and all sorts of cool stuff like games and books to get you to linger over a cup of joe and they have live music on some nights. The coffee is local and locally roasted but unfortunately the espresso is just a little too harsh for me. I like my espresso full bodied and not too bold so the Americano here snapped me out of my «couldn’t sleep in» funk a little too boldly. For those who like it STRONG I think this place would be just fine. The location is great for stopping in on the way out of town. Still better than Starbucks!!!

Wowza! For a place in a strip mall this is some dang good coffee and tea! The atmosphere is adorable and I love all the community touches– the message board, the«public use» laptop, the take a book leave a book bookshelf. There is a lot of seating and I could see myself staying a while to read or chat with friends. The iced coffee and tea were both very good! I will be back on my next road trip through Cottonwood!
