4 stars for a good selection of craft beers on tap. Could be better if they had a paper beer list instead of trying to line up the tap handles to see the brand and the chalk board above for the beer style. There’s no food but they do have a severely warped shuffle board table for your entertainment.

My wife and I stopped in here during the Walkin’ On Main festival. We were very impressed by their beer selection, both draft and cans, and great prices(they had a special of $ 2 for Sierra Nevada Pale Ale cans). The interior is nicely decorated, and the staff works their butts off. Although we usually like to sit at the bar, we couldn’t resist their couch and iced table to keep our drinks cold. They also have a back wall where the windows open out on to the street. Very cool. My wife and I travel the country looking for good bars, and this is at the top of the list.

The absolute worst bar I have ever been in. What kind of bartender doesn’t know how to make an AMF? Or if it wasn’t the bartenders fault, then what kind of bar doesn’t have the ingredients to make an AMF? They didn’t have Pabst Blue Ribbon or Dos Equis lager either… major disappointment. Plus the drinks they do have are way over priced. $ 7.50 for a tequila sunrise with house tequila? Trippin.

This place has been slowly improving the interior since its opening. It is really gotten very nice inside! They have a lot of quality beers on tap as well as wine and it looked like a pretty full bar. There were various whiskies and other liquor visible but I didn’t try any this time. Very relaxed, chill atmosphere and super cool ice tables to sit your drink on. We played a board game and shuffle board. Great place to hang out and have a drink. Something for everyone.

I came by this establishment this past Sunday while visiting family. I was extremely impressed, from the beer selection to the variety of games available to play. I expect this in Phoenix, but not up in cottonwood, I was pleasantly surprised. The bartender was very knowledgable and made the visit enjoyable. I would highly suggest checking this place out, the nearby competition were all let downs compared to Bootleggers. I’ll be back for sure.
