Clean and smiley service.
Been relying on them for some years when necessary to care for my two cats. Took my older cat in to diagnose sneezing. She seemed to know what she was doing so I followed her directions. A couple of days later my other cat started to have the same symptoms. After spending a few hundred dollars in the previous half hour visit I felt as if I could call and leave a message with same Doctor hoping she would at least return my call. Left two messages over a two week period and she never returned my phone call. I was not looking for free medical help. I was simply going to ask her if I should bring in my second cat! I am one of those who care about my pets health more than my own or at least I take more serious my pets than me. Also I discovered, as many reviews here state, this outfit is overpriced. Guess there is no commission for the doctor to return calls.
I will find another facility. One that I won’t feel like a money clip.

When did Willow Creek become a Auto Repair shop? We have been going there for years, something has happened, they don’t examine your pet in front of you anymore, there is no bedside manner. And everything is an option for more money ! I’m surprised they didn’t charge us for water for our pets! I understand it’s a business and they need to make a profit, but they lost focus on the sincerity of the animal. Please don’t take your pet there!!!

I want to start by saying I am glad you are an animal lover. You cared about the dog running around and was concerned for his safety. There is a lot of people that wouldn’t give it the time of day.
With that said, that dog was not a patient at Willow Creek. Someone spotted that dog running down the road and several of the techs ran out to try to catch the dog before he ended up being hit by a car. With the hopes that the dog was chipped so they could find the owner. We have many dogs dropped off at Willow Creek that are running loose and do our best to try to find the owners. As with most of us that have dogs, it is our biggest fear they get loose and end up on a busy road.
If you feel so inclined to retract your bad review, we would greatly appreciate it.

I assumed the worst and was reminded things aren’t always what they seem. Because of their concern for animals that aren’t necessarily «patients» that will bring in revenue but that clearly need help, I have to give them 5 stars. UGH how I hate being wrong. But in this case, I’m glad I was.

Today Willow Creek conducted and charged me $ 48 for a physical exam for my dog. This, in spite of being quite clear with them when I scheduled her appointment that she didn’t need an exam since she just had one less than three months ago – she only needed a vaccination and fecal test. When I questioned the service desk person about the charge, she claimed an exam was required with vaccinations and said, «Sorry.»
I’ve been going to Willow Creek for years, fully aware that they are more expensive than most (all?) other animal care centers in the area. The care and service we’ve received has been extraordinary on occasion, but nothing but adequate most of the time. I’m completely willing to pay more for something great, but Willow Creek isn’t great. They’re just more expensive. I don’t trust their business practices. I won’t be going back.

PLEASE READ AND SHARE: I have held my breath long enough to let the dust settle. We took out dog Laila to willow creek pet center back in January. She was sick and they told us it’s because she ate something she shouldn’t have, they said surgery was the only way… Well that cost us a ton of money. They put her on antibiotics and steroids. Well she didn’t get better and kept getting a fever. So they did surgery AGAIN thinking maybe they missed something. Well over time her weight would fluctuate and so would random fevers. I took her back in the end of June, the doctor then told me I could pay more money but there is nothing they could do but give her an IV. They said we should see somebody that specializes in «whatever is wrong» so we took her to an ER doctor, who then told us that willow creek putting her on steroids was not necessary and that’s what made her eat what made her sick again. And then when she had to have survey for the 3^rd time that’s when they told us she had to be put down. We spent over $ 3,000 at willow creek and with what we feel and what the ER specialist told us… Willow Creek pet center killed our dog! Please please share so nobody else has to feel the pain that we feel losing our baby! Thank you! If I could do no stars I would. They are so expensive and offered us nothing in return for the life of our family member we had to put down due to their incompetence!

It is with regret that I post this, because for the most part I think they are a great Veterinary facility. At least that is what I thought until my older cat caught a horrible virus after spending the night recovering from Dental surgery and died 2 weeks later. It was probably the most horrific death of a cat that I have ever witnessed and although the vet apologized, there is not alot that can be done when a kittie dies. Both of my other cats got very sick with the virus as well. However they were able to recover after about 2 weeks. My cat was an older cat and they had found cancer in his mouth which they did remove. So I tell myself that he probably had cancer thru out his body and he may have ended up dying anyway. However, catching a virus due to staying over night for observation after surgery, shouldn’t happen to any cat. Ever!!! And I am having to pay $ 1000 for this as well. So be careful, I am not sure if I am going to return. Which does greive me because I had been very happy with them up to this point, we had to witness a very sick cat that died a painful death as a result of whatever this horrible virus was. He was so sick he couldn’t eat, I had to carry him to the litter box and it was just a horrible thing to watch. We almost put him down to save him from his pain, but we left him at the hospital where he died after being there for 2 nights.

I appreciate the hours of operation and the cleanliness of the facility but my biggest complaint is how they handle billing the client. We got so many different stores from several different people about the cost of my dogs visit, in the end we had to euthanize her and within our grieving they called us at least three times with two hours of saying goodbye to discuss how we were going to pay them $ 1300 for a two day visit and to end our dogs life. Lack of empathy and extremely expensive.

My husband and I moved here from Pennsylvania in March 2011. We have 2 siberian huskies and 2 cats. We are residents of the Willow Creek area and were happy to have found a vet in our area so close with emergency hours. We were told by our neighbors that they were more expensive than other clinics but we didn’t care, we wanted the best care for pets as they are like family to us. We took them in for their routine checkups and vaccines each year, boarded our dogs multiple times and have taken our pets in for several emergency visits.
The first incident that caused us to question this facility happened last spring when we were out of state and we placed our dogs in boarding. We got a call saying our dog was in an emergency crisis and that his stomach had twisted and he needed to have a $ 3000 surgery or he would die. We didn’t hesitate to have the surgery, however we questioned what caused an otherwise extremely healthy dog to end up in an emergency state under their care. I tried to be positive and just hoped that the situation could have occurred at home and that they had saved his life.
Then our oldest cat, Tinkerbell, started to become ill about a year ago. She had lost weight despite eating, was drinking excessive amounts of water, stopped grooming herself and using the litterbox. We took her to Willow Creek 4 times over the course of the past year and spent several thousand dollars on examinations, bloodwork, x-​rays, and medications. We saw a different doctor each time. My husband asked about cancer every time and they all just dismissed each time her with antibiotics and a prescription diet saying that she had the very early stages of kidney disease, a minor infection, and that she was just old, but otherwise healthy.
About a month ago, we took her in for an emergency visit because she was not eating. They repeated her blood work, took some x-​rays and told us it was her kidneys. Her abdomen was enlarged, and they told us that her kidneys were swollen and the x-​rays showed no signs of a tumor. They hospitalized her with IV fluids for 2 days while being transferred through multiple doctors. They were ready to discharge her as her blood work showed improvement, she started eating and regained energy. The doctor she was transferred to was ready to discharge her, but my husband felt that something else was wrong. He asked about the swollen abdomen. The doctor felt her abdomen and said that for sure she had a tumor the size of a baseball and recommended an ultrasound.
We got her in for the ultrasound ASAP. They said that she for sure had cancer including a large inoperable tumor surrounding her aorta that had metastasized to other areas of her body and she only had weeks to months to live.
We decided that we would take her to an oncologist if we decided to proceed with biopsy and chemotherapy. Our main concern was time with her. She was my first pet and had been with me for 17 years, helped me through my parents divorce, the loneliness of being an only child, peer bullying at school, and the untimely loss of my mother also to cancer. She seemed happy at home, she could still run and jump. She was eating and using her litterbox. We took her nearly everywhere with us, including to our office (we are business owners). We spent time with her laying out in the sun and walking around the gardens (she was an indoor cat). She did not appear to be in pain at all, I would not have considered euthanasia.
Then one evening we came home from a conference and she hadn’t eaten. We took her back to Willow Creek immediately for an after hours emergency visit. We asked if IV fluids would help and informed them that we planned to take her to see an oncologist in the morning. We specifically asked the doctor if he thought there was any chance she might die overnight and he said that he did not think she would die overnight. We kissed and hugged her goodbye and told her we would see her in the morning.
I was then woken up to a call from the doctor in the morning that she had died. We were told that she had died during the night and no one could revive her. We could not believe that she had died in their care. We were in such shock that it took us an entire month to make arrangements for her remains. I am still grief stricken.
My husband and I have wondered all along whether or not they killed her by overdosing her on some sort of medication, put her to sleep without our consent or what may have happened.
We are outraged that they did not diagnose the cancer sooner, and we are sure that they could have with all the x-​rays, examinations and bloodwork performed on her over the past year. I feel that all the doctors, technicians and boarding staff at Willow Creek are incompetent and negligent. They only charge more to take advantage of the wealthy residents in the area. I would never recommend that anyone take their pets to Willow Creek Pet Center.

We just took my dog here to be groomed for the first time last week. From scheduling to picking him up, I received stellar customer service! The girl that checked us in was very genuine and nice, and I was very comfortable leaving my dog with them. The price was average compared to what I’m used to paying (around $ 45 for a 25lbs dog plus tip). He looked great, and smelled even better. I’m not super picky when it comes to how he is cut, but they did exactly what I asked for. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is that he was there from 8:30am-4pm, which seemed like a long time. In their defense, I didn’t ask for him at a particular time, I just didn’t expect that it was going to be so long. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’ll ask for him to be done sooner. Great place!

I am a first time dog owner, and started with Petco, then Petsmart, and finally took my puppy into Willow Creek today for a checkup (poor puppy had blood in his stool). I was SO impressed! My first impression was how clean the facility is (I expected it to smell like «animals»). Dr. Kimball took the time to answer ALL of my questions and I left feeling encouraged as a new puppy mom. I booked my next appointment, signed up for puppy classes, and am looking forward to a lifelong relationship with Willow Creek. Oh– and turns out the blood is from teething and not having the right chew toys! I would give Willow Creek 10 stars if they were available!!!

This review is for their grooming practice exclusively — not their veterinary care.
The last groomer we took our dog to we had a bad experience with, where he basically came back looking like he had been in the army (completely shaved — and he’s a shih tzu). I explained this to the groomers at Willow Creek Pet Center, as well as some of his sensitive areas and issues — and boy did they listen!
He has been an extremely cute boy the entire time I’ve known him, but I have never seen him look so good as when I got him back from Willow Creek! They cut him perfectly — exactly as I had asked them, not overdoing it one bit but still making him clean. He was so fluffy it actually looked like he had gained weight. And he even smelled amazing!
On top of the amazing job, the price came in well below what their website claims their minimum for grooming is. I was beyond impressed. They were much cheaper than the last groomer I took him to, and the job they did was beyond.
We are looking to switch veterinarians, as we have not been impressed with our current vet (too many visits to diagnose and charging us for every little thing — charging us for wipes used at visits and cones/​replacement cones for our cats?). We were so impressed with the grooming job on our boy that we are considering switching doctor’s entirely!
UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW: Updating this review because it included information about a veterinarian who no longer works there. Still recommending Willow Creek Pet Center just as strongly. This last year we have been at Willow Creek a lot due to one of our animals having a difficult to diagnose and treat illness. Things have become a lot more expensive, but Dr. Steinman has really tried not to hit our pocket book too hard, and never pushes procedures or tests that are out of the norm or unnecessary. He also noticed that something was wrong with our boy when three other veterinarians who had seen him previously had not noticed anything, even when we pointed out some of the symptoms of the disease to them. I will forever be grateful to him and Willow Creek Pet Center for that. He also truly seems to care and takes the time to explain everything going on in detail, which I appreciate.
The only complaint I have is about their reception/​admin — this part of my review still stands. I definitely think this area needs improvement, as they have been highly unorganized: not keeping records of vaccinations they have given my pets, having the wrong pet down for an appointment, charging me the wrong amount (once too much, once too little), not having any records of any tests that have been done (if I hear one more time «We have no record of any blood work having been done on your dog in the last year» I swear…), not being able to easily pull up prescriptions… not good. That being said, the other aspects of their practice are much more important, and there is nothing wrong with the reception’s friendliness or attempts to be helpful, but I wonder if there’s something missing in their processes or record keeping software.
I will definitely be going back to Willowcreek for all my pets’ needs.

I’ve been going here for years, I do like most of the vets there. The only issues are they are on the expensive side, and the wait for a Vet takes a while. I’ve spent 20 min waiting in the waiting area then another 30 waiting in the vets office and I DID make an appt.
I’ll continue to take my pets there because they’re usually 95% accurate with diagnosis and they care about my pets.
Also my cat gets groomed there and they do a fantastic job with him.

I’d been using a different vet, but due to proximity and the ability to get me in on short notice, I brought my mastiff breed here for a checkup. The staff was friendly, got me is fast, and the cost of the visit was reasonable. I was very satisfied.

I am so impressed with this vet office. Everyone from the front desk to the vet techs to Dr. Barney were truly amazing. They helped me with all my concerns and I really left knowing this was a good «family» dr for us. I would definitley recommend this Pet Center to anyone who needs a attentive place for their family members. I noticed that they also have grooming boarding and training. Full Service
