Marc Mezzetta’s Deli & BBQ

Tried the tri tip sandwiches from this place and wont be going back. The meat was chopped up in little pieces mimicking cat food… Was not good :(

Let me start out by saying pathetic, just pathetic. The only thing good about the sandwich was the turkey. The bread was stale and crumbly like it was bought at 7 – 11 down the street. The sandwich looked like it was put together by and untrained monkey. You could get a better sandwich out of a truck stop vending machine. Did I mention it was $ 7.00? Save your money!

We placed an order for pick up. I ordered a #16 Roast Beef dip sandwich for myself, and a BBQ Chicken sandwich with a side of fries for my Stepdaughter. My wife picked up the order on her way home for her lunch break. When we opened the bag, I immediately noticed that they forgot the Au jus dip for my Roast beef dip sandwich. My Stepdaughter opened her BBQ Chicken sandwich, and noticed there was no BBQ sauce on her BBQ Chicken sandwich. She then opened her fries, only to discover they were cold.
In my opinion, if you claim to be a BBQ Deli, and cannot fulfill the basic concepts you advertise, you do not deserve repeat business.

Good sandwiches and ribs
but
the last 3 times there midday could not get ribs as they were out and suggested reserving in advance. This is a walk in not a caterer Unless I hear that they have solved this problem I will not be back.

Very disappointed with the food here. My sandwich was made completely wrong and was also very overpriced for the overall quality. I was the only person in there while ordering and yet the lady taking my order kept asking me to repeat myself and in the end still did not take the order down right. She put tomatoes and mayo on my sandwich when i told her multiple times i did not want either. on top of that the meat came out of some cooler and was not sliced fresh like other delis do. I did not see her wash her hands or any of the other employees taking orders for that matter. I decided to eat the sandwich anyway and had and extremely upset stomach all the next day which I can only assume came from the lack of hygiene.
I will definitely not be coming back here after my bad experience and because of the ridiculous prices.

Goods: delicious bread, fresh produce, real meats, friendly service
Bads: A little on the expensive side for what you’re getting.
Overall, if you’re in Cotati, this is probably the best place to get a sandwich if you just want to run in and run out. Better sandwiches than Olivers and not as ritzy or fashionable as anything on the crawl. A deli, what you see is what you get.

very disappointed the pastrami was so full of fat it caused me to gag repeatedly. The macaroni salad was ok, very heavy on the onions though. The pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw on it tastes just like Lyon’s pulled pork that comes in a tub from the grocery store. This meal was not worth the $ 25.00 it cost us. Very disappointed!!! Why can’t i give this place a zero?

Can’t believe this place wasn’t here already. Great deli with BBQ going out front all day. The tri tip is juicy and delicious. All the meats are yummy and well seasoned. Love that they have unusual cheeses to go on your sandwiches like horseradish or garlic Cheddar and smoked Swiss. Sandwiches are large and they have a great selection of breads; not just wheat white or roll. Lots of salads and they serve breakfast. I love the Killer Joe’s Sandwich with the BBQ tri-​tip on a roll with mayo, horseradish cheddar, horseradish sauce, tomato and onion, $ 7.99. Staff is always nice and they have tables if you want to dine in or call ahead and pick up. Also they have a huge selection of drinks so you have some options, not just the standard fare.

This is not the place to get BBQ. I had the bbq tri tip sandwich. Taste like it was cooked in an oven or hot box. The only bbq flavor was in the weak bbq sauce. Try a regular sandwich, maybe you’ll have better luck.
