Service was nice. We sat outside of their serving area because we had a wheelchair and a baby stroller with us. We we originally going to grab the food and cart it over, but after they saw where we were seated, they decided to just deliver it to the bigger table even though they don’t service those areas. Thanks! The food was delicious. Ordered a few enchiladas and it was more than enough to fill us up. Fries were on point and burritos delicious. I’d definitely come back and give them my business!

There is nothing more aggravating than paying more to replace beans for slaw on a to-go order, only to come home without the slaw. I get this must be a high rent area but this was very bad service and taking .50 isn’t going to help. If you order to go, make sure you check your order before leaving or else you will be ripped off too.

LOVEEELOVELOVE Wahoo’s! I order take-out maybe 4 times a week(ya, girl, I’m not even exaggerating) I usually go to the other location in Costa Mesa, just because it’s more convenient and closer to my house anyway, but I always try to go here whenever I can! Service is friendly Very nice ambiance(2nd floor, big clear windows! HELLOBEAUTIFULSUNSET!!!) Plus the food is always LOVELY!!! I get the shrimp bowl with white rice, citrus slaw instead of beans, and 2 sides of Mr. Lee’s For some reason I find the food over here better than any other locations, it seems fresher, more flavorful with a perfect rice/protein ratio, amazing food! Keep it up, guys! so… what now??? wahoo’s?! okay wahoo’s!!!

Worst Wahoo’s I have ever been to. I visited this Wahoo’s when at South Coast Plaza for a quick errand. I frequent Wahoo’s and have never been disappointed before with their service or food. But today was a horrible exception. Service was TERRIBLE!!! We ordered take out from the counter and the lady working the register could not understand our order it seemed. We had to repeat out self multiple times. We waited ~20 minutes to receive our taco plate and burrito. It’s rush hour I understand the wait on this. Once we returned to our office we noticed that our food was of unbelievable low quality. Beans looked and tasted of what I would expect from Taco Bell. The Tacos were try and flavorless. My burrito was wrapped horribly and leaking. On top of which it was THEWRONGBURRITO!!! I ordered a Spicy chicken burrito, and received a mushroom and bean burrito. For almost $ 20 not including drink or sides I am outraged.

The food is always consistently good. However, my pet peeve is that they are always sweeping the floor when you’re eating!!! Sure, you have to clean up the fallen debris on the floor but vigorously sweeping to and fro without any care who is around you eating! Seriously?! They don’t care if they’re sweeping all the debris right on your food. It’s extremely annoying.

I find all of the Wahoos pretty consistent with the food, the service is always good, the places are always clean and the workers are for the most part happy and pleasant. This particular Wahoos was a step above in the seating area for me. Chrystal Court is a very nice place and to sit out in the court to enjoy my food was a nice change. The lay out was really planned well and they had a great amount of seating available. I have not found a bad Wahoos yet but I think I found one just a slice above. Great location same great deals.

The fish tacos are OK at best. It seems like we had to wait a really really long time in line as well as to get our food. On top of it all when our food arrived it was cold. I have tried this place a few times but I don’t understand what the big deal is you can get better fish tacos and plenty of other places

This is a great place for a simple quick meal. Good solid fish tacos, nice people, and they kept the tables very clean.

Located on the third floor of the South Coast Plaza, right next to the new Sephora store. I have tried their chicken quesadilla with side steak taco. Quesadilla comes with side small sour cream and guacamole. Both were delicious. Will be back for other items on the menu and will update the menu.

$ 1.99 churro chips $ 2.50 new castle(or whatever the feature beer of the month is) $ 8.29 wahoo bowl $ 7.54 tacos A tad more expensive than more«fast food» but definitely healthier and less processed. Their churro chips are to die for.

The fish tacos are always dry and dense. Which is very depressing for a fish taco joint. Now I opt for chicken tacos or shrimp. The rice and beans however are fantastic!

Great staff, always so friendly… food is okay at best… I’m never fully satisfied with the food here, something is always off… my last visit here will probably be my last. I ordered a chicken Bansai bowl, didn’t want the beans and rice but I figured it’s not that much so it’s okay… I expected a bed of veggies with chicken and a side of rice and beans. Instead, I got rice with a side of beans and chicken and a few veggie pieces. I paid $ 10 for a large amount of rice… very disappointed, just like previous times… so this will be my last visit here. Treat that staff well though! They’re great people! Sad that I can’t say the same for the food and prices… it’s the staff that makes me give this places 3 stars instead of one…

Nothing but love for this place, i’ve been eating at wahoos for over 20 years, for the last 15, i’ve eaten at wahoos at least once a month, but way more than that, usually… fish tacos beans and rice, what can you say, its the basics done simple but great… i get a kick out of seeing the owner sometimes, at different locations(oh yeah, i look for a wahoos everywhere) that dude’s my business idol, always wearing shorts and sandals and no one usually knows who he is… that’s the life if you as me

Gotta love Wahoos for making tofu available as a protein for any dish. The kale salad has tofu, beans, greens, salsa and avocado showing that fast food can be healthy and delicious.

Went here for oc restaurant week. $ 20 for 2 people. Totally worth it. We each got to share the Baja rolls. Cut up into 8 pieces and dipped into either salsa red sauce or green sauce. It was like a cold wrap from any other place. Good. I liked it. Then we each got 2 enchiladas. Chicken, shrimp, carne asada and steak. I recommend going with the shrimp and fish and also get the tacos. Way better than the enchiladas. Then at the very end they served us churro chips. Eh it was ok. Probably wouldn’t come back here unless I was desperate for Mexican food. I’d rather go to some hole in the wall joint.

We ordered the chicken tacos($ 7.54) and the quesadilla(6.99) to go. This place is casual and the decoration was cute, so you can enjoy the atmosphere. Taco had salsa-sauce, beans, and brown-rice. The food was healthy and the price was cheap, I think it’s good for a light meal. Many people recommends the fish-tacos, so I want to order the fish-tacos next time.

The last time I had any sort of Wahoo’s Tacos was at least 5 or 6 years ago in Santa Monica. Their burritos were awesome, and I always wanted to take the bf, but we either weren’t feeling burritos for a meal, or we weren’t any where near one. Anyways, we were in South Coast Plaza and needed food. Was just browsing each of the levels, and I pointed out Wahoo’s, since I still had a gift card that could be used. At the entrance, there are menus that you can pick up and figure out what you want without blocking the line. Once you figure out what you want, go down the hallway, and a cashier will be waiting. Put in your order, pay, they’ll give you your drink cups and order number, and then you sit down somewhere(with your order number showing proudly), and they’ll deliver your meal. I have a feeling that maybe the Costa Mesa location doesn’t get too many gift cards often. When I gave the cashier my gift card, she slid it, and said that there wasn’t anything on it, even though the little chit that printed out said that there were $ 5 taken off of it, and that there was no balance left on the card. I think she eventually realized that the gift card tender was applied, because she correctly said our new tendered total. Paid by credit card, and then we sat down. Pretty clean tables. Good amount of seating area, and there are more tables outside, if it’s somehow crowded inside. I had the Screamin’ burrito(new!), while the bf had the fish and shrimp taco. The Screamin’ burrito wasn’t bad, and there was a good amount of mushrooms in there. Was hoping for more spice, though, since it was advertised as spicy. Had to use 1⁄3 of one of their Wahoo hot sauce bottles to help bring up the heat a little bit more. The bf ate his shrimp and fish tacos, but he felt that he could’ve had better-tasting ones at Baja Fresh or El Torito Grill, even though it may not be what those two specialize. It was edible, but he may go for another restaurant next time. For me, it was a good burrito for a fair price, but I probably should have stuck with the old classic burritos instead of the newest one they created. Probably won’t be back unless we’re with friends.

I love this Wahoos for the location inside 2nd floor of Crystal Court, but I don’t love this place at all because everytime I use a coupon here, I get the stink eye. «Is this all you want? «asked the lady over the counter. me: «Yes» Criket chirps. I mean, for those of you who knows me, I can be frugal. And why not when Wahoo gives out free meals for father’s day, right? But I don’t enjoy being a victim for being a good customer as I have been here before, without any coupons or promotions. The brown rice here and beans do rock! I really think they do cook it in lard of something really bad for you. Flavor profile wise, everything is good. You can even eat outside, which is inside the mall. Kind of cool. I guess I won’t be here when they offer coupons anymore.

It was either eat here or at Maggiano’s while visiting South Coast Plaza. Since we wanted a «grab-and-go» meal and didn’t want to pay a ton of money or spend a lot of time, we chose this Wahoo’s location. PROS: — vegetarian options, and vegan, so I’ve heard. I’m no vegan but I don’t eat meat. — decent food at a good price. The veggie tofu Wafu Bowl was surprisingly filling. — fast friendly service. The cashier was a bit hard to understand but she was patient. — kid friendly menus — pretty much healthy eating; even the fried stuff wasn’t overly greasy CONS: — not really a con but an observation, unless you are in the mood for true Mexican cuisine as this restaurant serves«fusion» Mexican and not traditional Mexican food. — Kid’s meal could have included a drink. A minor con but noted anyway. — The menu lists a variety of salsas, none of which we got and none were put out ala Moe’s Mexican style salsa bar. PRICE: Lunch cost approx $ 30.00 for the three of us(Onion Rings, Screamin Burrito, Wafu Bowl, Kid’s Taco and drink, Corona beer). I put a $ 2 tip on the table. I know we don’t need to tip but those servers hustle and work hard.
