Definitely try Tom’s place, you must inhale the pastrami cheeseburger but it is necessary to add bacon avocado and grilled onions for an amazing experience. The side of cow next to the pastrami along with the shredded lettuce and tomato make for a killer burger. Also the french fries and deep-fried sides are worth sharing with her friend everything on the menu seems good along with the fried chicken dinner. But you must speak and clarify your orders because they are known to make many mistakes.

Came here for lunch one time way back when I was doing ride alongs with the local fire department. This greasy spoon joint does not disappoint. Well made burgers with a healthy side of fries, I’m in heaven. The crew whippin up the meals is super friendly and the prices are definitely appropriate.

The most delicious breakfast burritos! Not too many potatoes and I love the tomatoes inside! Bacon is crispy and eggs are cooked perfectly. I add avocado. It is HUGE! I can only eat half and save the other half for the next morning. Staff is friendly and wait time is quick! I don’t know how they make a burrito this good in such a short time!

This is a little hidden gem it looks like a fast food joint with a drive through window. I had the bacon burrito it was really really good! I wasn’t expecting such flavor from this place

The place is awesome! I wish I had tried it sooner. Reasonably priced restaurant quality food from a drive thu? Yes please! So far I’ve only been a few times for breakfast, but it’s been amazing every time. The country fried steak is better, cheaper, and faster to get than IHOP, and their breakfast burritos are fantastic. Each time I’ve called in my order ahead of time the food was ready by the time I got there, with no wait in the drive thu. Can’t beat that convenience for a real meal.

Very bad bad service I’ve been going here for a month and a half and always go through the drive thru and I order a hamburger and I request pickles tomato extra ketchup and extra secret sauce No No onions or lettuce(I’m alergic to onions) so I went today(5−10−16) and was very upset that my burger has onions on it and yes I was upset and angry told the manager what was going on and he said not to come back so that was his way of handling me a Customer and now I only hope I don’t break out in a alergic rash or end up in the hospital I’m really allergic to raw onions he didn’t care I was told to never come back this is how they treat me a Customer I go here most every day and have all my receipts to prove it so l will never never go back and the manager told me not to go back too by far the worst experience I’ve ever had

BOMB. Love their beef dip sandwich. The meat is flavorful and tender, and the roll has a slight sourdough taste to it. Delish. You can never go wrong with the burgers or chicken tenders either.

Food is great, but I wait over 30mins for just a burger. I was late going back to work.

Best burger I’ve had in years. Had the Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger and it was off the chain. I recommend this place.

Don’t get the French toast!!! Not fluffy at all. Very hard and tasteless. Fried zucchini and hamburgers were good.

It’s been a sad, year long journey to get here, but sadly we’re breaking up, Tom. It’s not me. It’s you. You’ve changed. You were once the best breakfast burrito around, now you couldn’t compete with such an honor. You’re more expensive than before despite dipping in the quality department. I wish you the best. *I’m not a big fan of french fries but yours are wonderful. I’ll see you once a year for those.

I am truly disappointed. When I gave my order(cheese burger combo no onion) and drove up to the window to get my total, it was nearly $ 20. I asked them to read the order back to me & They added extra items(a whole extra combo and a drink!) that I did not even ask for. The lady looked at me all serious and said all snippy, «well that’s what you ordered.» She started to argue with me saying I ordered 2 combos. I’m certain I did NOT order an extra combo and they clearly misheard me. I politely said That the order was wrong and she looked irritated. (NOTMYFAULTYOUDIDN’T HEARMETHEFIRSTTIMELADY! Their food was not all that great and was SQUISHED in the bag. so much for my flat burger… WHICHTHEYMESSEDUP(asked for no onions & I guess thats lingo for«pile em high bro!») yeah, never coming here again. Rude drive-thru Prices are too high for their service and food quality.

Can you say live it! Little whole in the wall with a drive through, inside and outside seating. Great fresh food all day long and it’s cheap. Your wallet won’t cry. We sat outside with our large dog and they brought our food out. We’re very nice and catered to your needs. Food is fast fresh and taste awesome!

I live down the street and have seen this place a few times. Decided to stop and get a breakfast burrito. The menu says egg and cheese with an option to add potatoes. Got all the way home and when I bit into it there were huge chunks of tomatoes inside. The menu didn’t say tomatoes, and I have a food allergy to tomatoes so I wasn’t very happy about that. Decided to give them another chance so I drove back. They fixed my problem without complaint, but when I got home and tried the SECOND burrito. It was pouring out liquid(not sure what from?) and was soggy and disgusting. Threw it right away. See uploaded picture. These little places never do well.

Asked the kiddos how many stars they wanted to give this place they all agreed on 5 except for one… He said infinity. I fed all 4 of them(3 being hungry boys) plus myself for just over 25 $. Staff is super friendly and sweet. Not one bad thing to say about this place.

We wanted to get breakfast but didn’t want to hit a place we’d be waiting thirty plus minutes… Enter Tom’s Place. I must admit, when the boyfriend described it to me I was like, uhhhh no. It sounded like a dirty counter ordering type joint. AND while it IS a counter ordering type spot, it’s super organized, super clean and the food is quick and fantastic! The boyfriend wins! Delish pancakes, bacon and eggs for cheap! FOURSTARS! ****

Its a quaint little corner café in Costa Mesa near workshops and industrial business areas. It may seem hard to find, or you might just drive right by it without noticing its small yellow sign, but its mighty enough to grab a good meal and take a break from the world for awhile. Welcome to Tom’s Place. Dining area is small, but roomy. Staff is average and place is clean. Started looking for something different on the menu than the usual burgers or tacos, then came across a tuna melt which I thought was probably not the most popular item on the menu, but whatevers. I was hungry and wanted something light and filling. I found a nice corner table with plenty of sunlight. The ambiance of the place felt comfortable as many other loyal patrons came to enjoy their meals. The tuna melt was tasty, but it was missing more life to it. it needed salt. But the accompaniment of the fries was pleasant, but nothing spectacular. The meal was definitely filling, but alas. dearest Tom. it was lacking in flavor. Perks: Portions are a plenty for the $. Breakfast items are also on the menu. This location has a drive thru and an outdoor patio. KNOW before you GO: Depending on which door you enter in from, there are 2 ordering stations on both sides of the counter. Just be sure there is a cashier waiting to take your order. OverALL: Its A-OK. Not too bad, but not amazing either. I will be hopeful and come back again.
