Don’t count on their est delivery date. This is a review for my online order. 1 of the 6 items I ordered online was shipped from this store. I paid for express shipping $ 12.50 since I was about to leave town briefly, hoping the dresses would arrive before I left. Well… none of the 6 items were delivered on the est date per order… So I called customer service on the est delivery date, they told me 1 of the dresses was delivered… I insisted not, then they checked further and told me it was shipped from this store and I should receive it «today», I insisted I didn’t receive anything I ordered… then she told me «oh, the address on the box was wrong, so it was returned to the store.» Well… if I hadn’t insisted on the fact that I never receive it, I think I’ll need to pay for the item?! Then the lady said she’ll refund me the dress… never did despite 2 other emails to Talbot in 3 weeks time. Btw my other 5 dresses arrived later then the est delivery time too… so I guess the lesson is either don’t pay for express shipping, or only buy what’s in the store.

Watch out for this Talbots~~ The service is horrible and the staff are racist… The assistant Manager — Chantel is horrible. My bad experience started when I asked about an item which has damage in the back. So, the staff referred me to her and the minute she saw me she started«There is no additional discount.» Hello ~, I haven’t asked for the discount, ya? So, she walked away. I talked to the staff and then, they started to look out for me whether they have the same items at other store and finally got me the item. But my point is, how, knowingly, the item is damaged, can they still sell this item? Chantel said, «Since it is on sale, we can’t give you additional discount.» and«We can’t sell the item if it is damaged.» If it is damaged, why can you sell them? So, as long as there are innocent buyer, she will just sell it to them without telling them that it is damaged. Never at any other Talbots I have encountered such bad experience. As I was bothered by all of the hostility she brought, I heard that she literrally was arguing with another customer about something to return. Sure enough, the customer is an Asian lady whose English is not so perfect. So, go figure.

Let me preface this interview by admitting that I hate clothing shopping. Let me be more specific, I hate shopping for girl clothes. I wish I could just dress like a little sporty tomboy 24⁄7. I’d be one happy girl. Unfortunately, I work in that which is Corporate America and I must conform to that culture and attempt to look like a girl. Gag. I happened to be at the Crystal Court at the New Balance store when I spotted the Talbots Woman store. I may be a short girl — I’m only 4′ 10.5″ — but I’m built like a little linebacker. I kid you not. I buy my tops at plus-sized stores.(I can buy pants anywhere because I have no hips and no butt.) The sales people at Talbots Woman should win awards for putting up with me. I quickly informed them that I don’t wear any bright colors(except for green), I won’t wear anything that has a wide or v-neck, I won’t wear sweaters, I won’t wear anything with a design or pattern, and I won’t wear anything that is form fitting. In the end, I rejected every single article of clothing they brought me but they still treated me with the utmost respect and didn’t act like I had major issues. Like I said, they should be awarded medals or something.
