Lululemon has so much hype! Well today I finally thought it was time to drop some dolla$ on some high quality gym wear!
I’ve actually been in a Lululemon before — it was in a different state. I remember looking at a pair of leggings & was shocked to see the $ 98 price tag! After all they were just a pair of plain black leggings. Nothing seemed so special about them. Ever since then, I didn’t really want to go back in there since nothing really caught my eye.
Today I purchased the lighten up bra — I have had my eyes on it for awhile & the strappy back is unique compared to a regular Nike sports bra. To me, the aesthetics was WORTH paying the $ 50 price tag! After all, this bra is so well designed that it looks dressy & it definitely is versatile, meaning you could wear it in the gym & for everyday — that is awesome!
It was pretty busy when I was there, & I thought it was unique how the employees write your name on the fitting room. However, like a previous Unilocaler said, the mirrors are a bit shocking! The lighting isn’t very flattering either.
The only thing I didn’t disliked was the selection of color ways. On the website, the lighten up bra has several different color ways. This store only had black. However, I didn’t ask an employee if they had any in the back, so there could have been.
I love the location of the store — we parked in the small parking lot in front of Crate & Barrel — makes it easy to get in & out quick~
I’m pretty positive I’ll be back!

I had never been inside a lulu lemon store before or worn any of their products but I received a gift card for Christmas and wanted to use it. I don’t know if this is the case with all employees at every store but the employees I spoke with were SO NICE and helpful at this location! At least 4 different girls asked if I needed assistance and helped me decided on two pairs of yoga pants, giving me advice on what would be best for my specific needs. seriously I don’t know if they work on commission or what but everyone in here was awesome, store manager-​kudos to you for cultivating such a happy and helpful staff and environment. I will definitely come back to this location. Oh and the pants rock too!

Just an FYI for anyone on a time crunch and not from the area. Don’t go by their Unilocal for hours, it’s not accurate. I just drove 30 minutes to get here under the assumption of the hours posted here. They are off by an hour. Check lululemons website as they do not list info on their phone either. I’m not going to down rate them, hopefully they’ll read this and correct it so someone else doesn’t have the same problem.

I must admit, I’m kind of obsessed with lulu and try to visit at least every couple of weeks since they’re constantly getting new styles and colors in. I’m not a huge fan of their pants, but I like the henleys, long sleeved tees, and linerless workout shorts. I mean it’s activewear that you can also live in – I have a few lulu polos I’ll wear if I want to dress it up a little without compromising comfort.
I have a love/​hate relationship with their dressing room mirrors which cover every possible angle of your body that you didn’t even know existed. =/​
It’s located in the west wing formerly called Crystal Court just across from the Apple store on the first floor. Easy parking if you just want to hit up that side of the mall. Otherwise, you can walk over the bridge from the main mall.

Was just in the store for over 30 minutes and not one person said hello or asked if I needed help. I waited to ask about sizing and not one person greeted me. It id also hard to tell who is an employee bc they don’t have name tags and they are wearing LLL apparel, like many people shopping there. So disappointed in their lack of customer service.

The service here is stellar! Everyone is so helpful and there are many sizes. The staff know their products well. Every aspect of excellence in customer service was observed and consistent, which is difficult during the holiday season. I hope the level of customer service never changes. They are doing such a great job. Thank you!

This store has the nicest sales people and EXCELLENT customer service. The closest lululemon store is Fashion Island but they are unbelievably rude and its worth the extra drive to shop at the South Coast location. Parking is easy since it’s actually across the street in Crystal Court. Lululemon SCP needs to give Fashion Island a few lessons on customer service. Not to mention this location has seasonal clothing, they carry winter items where the other local stores don’t. Thank you for such a great experience!!!

Located across the bridge, this store has all the things you need to look good while you work out.
The staff are welcoming and friendly and eager to help you find that perfect work out outfit.
A few chairs are available for people who are waiting and the music is cool!

my favorite lulu store. the service here is wonderful compared to some other stores (cough, santanarow) where it is seriously lacking. their stock here is decent, and if they don’t have it they will locate it for you and have it shipped for free!
downside is I’ve probably spent an easy 2k here :(but i look so cute working out! lol

The. Best. Workout/​lounge gear ever. People wonder why we spend $ 82 on a pair of crops? Try the Wunder Unders & you’ll be sold. I still wear my original pairs I purchased 6 years ago… For lounging mostly now… But that’s only because I now have drawers full of lulu! But that’s how long your gear will last, and then some! And trust me, I WORKOUT in these gym clothes! My gear is usually a drippin’ hot mess by the time I’m done with my workout so for my crops to withstand that torture for five years and still hold up. That’s worth my money! I can say the same for the tanks and sports bras too. I wore many of the tanks & pants throughout both my pregnancies & they hold their shape. I love how versatile their clothes are too. As a momma running around on weekends you’ll find me in lulu 90% of the time. So it’s a no brainier for me, I’m actually buying workout clothes & my weekend clothes too haha! A plus too, I converted the hubs!!! :))))) Men’s gear is equally as legit!
Side note: love the location of this store & they often have my sizes and colors I like in stock!

Really really really love all of my LuLu clothing but I recently bought a pair of work out pants that is already falling apart. I don’t know if LuLu will fix it but for that much I would think that they will. I will give them a call and see how the customer service is. Expect to see the true rating then.

Love this place! I been wearing the clothes for a few weeks and I can’t go back to any other brand of workout clothes.

Fantastic service always and great gear. I would recommend for the gym or just hanging around cloths.

Whenever I shop here I try and buy as much at once because their product lasts so long! I have some Lulu that has lasted me years now.
The staff is very helpful and always offers their opinions! I don’t agree with the other reviews saying they only give their attention to specific customers. The employees are willing to help men compare sizes for their loved ones when shopping on their own — comparing sizes amongst employees and helping them make the best choices. So cute!
Always have the prettiest colors, latest designs, unique fabrics, and their signature red shopping bag!

Retail therapy plus actual therapy lol the sales associate could tell that there was something bothering me and she was kind enough to listen to me rant about my evening haha such sweet girls and they really took care of me. Plus I scored a pair of super cozy yoga pants!

This Lulu is located across the bridge from the main structure of SCP with plenty of parking in the underground lot. I’ve never had a problem with service at the cashier, in the dressing rooms, on the floor, or even with the hemming section. The options are endless and they always have a generous variety of sizes and patterns neatly organized on the shelves so it’s convenient to grab an Energy Bra or Speed Tights in my favorite colors in a jiffy!
I’m 5’2 so naturally, I have to have my full length pants hemmed but it doesn’t cost a penny and they’re usually available for pickup within 2 business days. The quality of their products vary but if you do your research and are knowledgable about what consumers recommend, then you’re golden. All of my tights, tank tops, and sports bras have gone through some of the most torturous of workouts including distance running, olympic weightlifting, interval training, etc and they have lasted through the blood and sweat. Great products at a hefty price tag, but worth it if you shop and care for your apparel wisely!

I have mixed feelings about this location. Love their stuff but sometimes their employees are extremely helpful and friendly and other times a bit snotty and rude.

I just had to update to say how great Lululemon is. I’m not talking about the clothing. I’m talking about the Community! Lulu has done an amazing job at creating innovative ways to be so much more than a clothing store. From ins tore yoga classes, to going out into the city and supporting local fitness businesses, to offering discounts to fitness professionals, run clubs… the list goes on and on. The South Coast Plaza store is especially great!

** RUDE EMPLOYEES **
I walked in with a purpose and went straight towards the bra rack. I young gal working at the Yoga pants section looked at me and then glances away. Not a «hello» or even an acknowledgement as we looked right at each other. It gets better, another employee came up to put a couple sports bra back on the rack. She was no more than 24 inches from me and not one word. She had a ridiculous looking dark bandana wrapped around her head and some heavy duty leather bracelets on her wrist. She looked like she was trying out for a gig as a backup dancer for J. Lo’s tour.
It appears she was the supervisor or manager for the day. As I search for my size and then once again wandered over to the yoga pant sections, no one bothered to greet me. The young girl working the counter (she was wearing a hot pink T-​shirt & black shorts) turned around and pretended to straighten the bins. If you dislike dealing with the public, you SHOULDN’T work in retail. Besides, the majority of your customers are motivated buyers and they are there to replenish their workout wardrobe. It is not that difficult saying HELLO to your customers.
After 20 minutes in the store, the ONLY person that talked to me was a gal name Elizabeth working the dressing rooms. What gets me is a few regular customers entered the store and this bandana wearing woman greeted them, chatted them up, laughed with them, etc. I WAS TOTALLY IGNORED.
It shouldn’t matter if you spend $ 50 or $ 300 in the store, the employees need to learn to greet their customers. You have good workout clothes but not good enough to justify ignoring your customers that are spending $$$$ in your store. Get over yourselves.
You might not care, but I will be spending my $$$$ somewhere else.

Sports bras usually eat it pretty quickly with the frequency that I work out — Su M Tu W Th and either F or Sat — but Lululemon bras stand the test of time! I wear my Lululemon sports bras every week and they are so comfortable! Not like the cheap sports bras that feel like you’re wrapped in duck tape! Lol. These are supportive but let you breathe.
Also love love love the Wonder Under Pants — feels like ballet leggings but thicker so you can wear them in public under a cute sweater — looks great w Uggs :)
Also have a puffer vest that is cut longer in the back than in the front — great for keeping your booty warm against cold stadium seating.
Their compression socks are great too — perfect for lifting!
Bought multiple pairs of shorts, pants, and tops for coaching and they’re by far the most comfortable workout wear you will ever invest in – no need to constantly be adjusting straps or waistbands during your workout!
Even their headbands are super comfortable b/​c they’re adjustable
