Great owner, and store, been going here for years, must say though one of the newer guys is not attentive to customer service, and just stands behind the counter, if you don’t know where something is he doesn’t verbally give you enough direction to find it yourself, or come show you, he has a bit of an stand of fish attitude when left alone, I hope this changes soon, I feel it may be affecting the business. Maybe short staffing is an issue.

Came here in a pinch to get four pints of Fireball for holiday coworker gifts, and Mr Buck’s had me covered! They provided free red bows and gift bags, which made for an easy one-​stop shop during my lunch break. Check this place out. Thanks Mr. Bucks!

Wide selection of everything! I am a regular at lil pickle and came over for a root beer, only to find around 15 styles to choose from. I’ve never seen a pop selection like them. Plus everyone there is polite and with reasonable prices.

This place is celebrating 18 years. I have been going here since the beginning. I would go with my uncle when I was a kid. He would buy beer and usually buy me a candy, chips, toys ect. Now I’m buying brew there and I understand why my uncle bought beer there and not anywhere else. The workers are super chill and helpful. Their beer and wine selection are top notch. I wish them another 18+ years of success.

I went shopping at Tainted Kiss on fairview in Costa Mesa and was thirsty so i went next door to the liquor store to get a bottle of water. I didn’t know which water to choose so i just chose the cheapest one which was their Arrowhead brand. It was like a dollar, but that seemed kind of pricey to me but whatevers. I wonder why anyone would spend $ 2.00 on the Evian bottle of water, seems kind of stiff for just water…, i mean… Have you ever tried spelling Evian backwards… hmm…maybe that explains why some people would pay the $ 2.00…
Service was great and the place was clean and super convenient. Rating was just on their prices…

Great front end tobacco & blunt selection, light on the beer. Fantastic assortment of cheap wines for the dollar connoisseur. Good liquor selection but pricing favors small bottles, strangely.
This is actually a better pre-​party stop than most of the liquor stores in the area, including the drive-​thru liquor store around Baker.
