***MUSTREAD*** CREDITCARDFRAUDTHRUTHISPLACEANDOWNERSDON’T CARE The owners and workers here are horrible. I check my credit card statement only to see two charges in excess of EIGHTY dollars. I immediately contact the customer service line and leave a message with my contact information telling them to call me back asap as I want to find out what these charges are for. Its been over two weeks and several messages and I still have not heard back from them. I rented movies from them over a month ago that I returned the next day and yet I still don’t know what these charges are for. I even visited the store twice during their posted hours on Friday and Saturday(they are only there fri-sun). Both times NOBODY was there. These guys don’t care one bit about their customers. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company and they advised me to cancel my card in the process. My credit card company was unsure if these were fraudulent charges made by MovieQ or if someone stole my info thru movieQ’s system. Either way I received absolutely no help or info from this place as they could easily help answer these questions. Its been a huge headache dealing with a crappy business like MovieQ. Stay farrr away from this place. The owners and workers all look to be fresh out of college– probably a business mommy and daddy opened up and handed over to them.

Bigger selection than redbox. Very easy way to self-checkout through the computer. Don’t have to worry about server downtime for streaming services like amazon or hulu. With blockbuster and many other movie rental places out-of-business they should be afraid of this great idea.

This Place is Awesome, Redbox Has So Little Selection, and Movie Q Is The Answer! Thanks Much Dan For Being Cool, FYI they have a DVD sale Fri, Sat, and Sun Nights for Just $ 1 Each, It’s How They Clear inventory. Much Respect, Vibrations and Light to All :0

Better than RedBox overall but the machines are often broken — either the touch screen or the CARDREADER — then you have to try a different machine and start all over. Annoying. No frequent renter program or email promo like RedBox has. They don’t get many copies of new releases so they are frequently out of stock. You can search for older movies you haven’t watched yet but they are frequently out of stock as well. I think they sell the popular ones and don’t keep one copy for rental, which seems odd. Lots of them are Blu-Ray only, which sucks if you have a regular DVD player. Today I was there trying to find a movie and at 10pm all the screens just went black — closing time, you’re screwed. The guy said they are on a timer because they close at 10 and he couldn’t control it.(Doubtful) That’s like if you were at Target or the grocery store and at 11pm the scanners stop working and if you haven’t paid yet you’re out of luck and have to leave! What?!? I like the place and the prices are good but there is A LOT they could improve on.

I have rented from this place a couple of times. So far all of the DVDs were fine some have small scratches but it was no big deal. UNTILTODAY! The DVD was awful I couldn’t even watch it because it kept freezing. Very disappointed.

My first time was yesterday. I tried like 3 credit cards. None worked, it even thought one of my cards was a prepaid card. No thanks if this is going to be the pattern! I just used one of them prior to going there, and checked it afterwards, and my cards are fine.

I get home, lay download on the couch with my son, we are excited to watch a movie., After about 30 minutes the Movíe stops! So annoying! I called the automated phone service and they explain that they have a return box specially for damaged movies and games. I guess that happens quite often. They say they will give me a coupon for a free rental. Oh, thanks! Are they also giving me my Sunday evening back?

This place is pretty cool! It like a room of «red boxes». The process of renting is fun. The only thing is, if there is a popular movie that just came out, there is a good chance that it will be all rented out. Thats what happened when Hunger Games first came out. And I think Cinderella. I’m a regular!
YAY vending machines! I think vending is actually some sort of lifestyle… maybe its just the idea of instant gratification that I like. Anyway, this brick and mortar movie store is completely automated by kiosks that spit out whatever movie your heart desires. Ok, maybe not WHATEVER… but Movie Q does have a good selection of new releases and award winners, think Red Box on steroids complete with popcorn, candy and soda vending machines as well. I was totally nerding out at the time bc I definitely think the concept is cool, the walls are lined with kiosks connected to what I imagine a laundromat type system that picks out the selected movie behind the scenes and then pops the disc out to your eager little hands. I really can’t be too surprised since its all about efficiency and automation these days. With the demise of Blockbuster and so many other movie stores going away, I think this is a good bridge for those folks who haven’t quite fully transitioned to direct movie streaming at home. There’s really no need to wait in line for some one to check out your movie from the system, swipe your card, provide idle chit chat on the film review… blah blah blah… just give me my movie please. Well, that is exactly what Movie Q does. We rented 3 single night movies for a total of $ 3.00, for all you math majors… that’s a whoppin $ 1 each. You can reserve, rent or even buy used movies on line too. Yup, I’m a fan.
