Came here today for the chili cheese fries. Their fries are the closest to the old school Carl’s Jr. Fries of the 80’s and the best chili cheese fries since those knuckleheads shut the doors on the closest Fat Burgers in the OC area. I also got a burger. It sucked. I know, why come to a dog place for a burger but I already said why I came here. I’ve had the dogs before and they are good. Decided I want a burger is all. Next time maybe the corndog. Any how on the patio there seemed to be some kind of heated debate… yelling match? Either way the management guy didn’t like what the other girl(co-worker? Friend?) said and the third person(def worked there) was trying to control her friend. This went on for a while in full view of guests. Good thing the music is loud. Also they don’t have the tray of peanuts anymore, bummer. But the chili cheese fries were on point.

Amazing burgers, fries and onion rings(haven’t tried other things yet) Burger alone is very well priced but pricey if you do a combo. but burger is filling enough without fries and totally worth the price.

20 minute wait for a $ 6 hotdog! Wife had a Burger and it was charred. The lettuce on the burger included the stem of the plant. Sad

Love Jerry’s! Great dogs, good burgers, and usually a good beer selection. Not sure why several of the franchises closed recently, but I hope this one stays around!

Love this place! Great food and great customer service! They never disappoint! I’ve tried almost every hotdog and all are superb! My hubby has has tried a couple of the burgers and said they are also amazing! This is the only place that I actually like the tater tots.

My wife and I just ate here for the first time. IT. WAS. AMAZING. We were super impressed with how clean everything was inside. The staff were professional and efficient. Really though, the food is the only reason I need to know I’m going back. Legit, restaurant quality food at a fair-priced casual dining place. My burger was so bomb. I’m still thinking about it 6 hours later.

Hard to find a good hot dog place nowadays. Thank God for this place. Pros: A nice take on the classic hot dog. Good quality meat and decent sized weeener. Lots of sides and different combinations to add on and also different types of buns to hold your wiener too. If you check into Unilocal!or Facebook or some sort of social media then you get a free drink to go with your hot dog. That’s a nice little plus. You end up paying around $ 4 or so for a ¼ pound wiener which is surprisingly filling. Probably due to all the sides lol, but still it was pretty delicious. The people working there are nice and the food comes out fairly quick. Plenty of tables and nice décor. Parking isn’t too much of an issue either. Cons: Prices are a little on the higher side if you want to add other stuff like sides. Also $ 4 something for a hot dog is a little bit high. Bottom line: Yeah I’ll be back lol. This place reminds me of that Dogzilla food truck except this place doesn’t rob you and make you spend like $ 20 to get filled up on hot dogs.

It’s not the same place it was, change in this case is not good. The rolls they serve the sausages on are smaller with a sweat taste, which I don’t care for. The sausages seem to be smaller and they no longer have peanuts in the shells on the tables. After 10 years of enjoying Jerry’s Dogs(I’ve been to almost every store and met the man who started it all) I think tonight will be my last visit, cost and taste are no longer equal, cost out weighs taste and quality.

Great spot for a quick lunch bite. Sausages are made with high quality meat and they have a ton of toppings that you can pile on for free. The tater tots aren’t stellar, but they’re still tots so I’m not complaining. Not your normal hot dog place, check it out!

Excellent dogs and sides. The fries and onion rings were both really good. Fries were well seasoned. I had the chili cheese frito dog while my husband had a bacon wrapped avocado dog. We both enjoyed our meals.

Just finished eating here! The selection is awesome — I’ve never been to a hot-dog centered restaurant, and they have BLT combinations, Chicago dogs, etc. I ordered the chili cheese dog with onion, and checked in for a small drink. The CCD was great… The size was perfect, I don’t feel sick or uncomfortable after such a heavy item. I will be back to try some of the other menu items!

I hate to admit it, but my husband was right on this one. He has always said that this is a good spot for lunch and I kept avoiding it. Today I caved and am glad I did. The hot dogs are grilled to order and there are lots of menu options if you don’t want to make your own custom version. I got the philly dog(peppers, onions, provolone) and added pickles because I love them. The toppings all look fresh and they don’t skimp on them. The only downside to my dog is the bread came apart so it was a messy situation. Got the fries and they were we’ll seasoned and piping hot but not the reason to go to Jerry’s. If you aren’t in the mood for hotdogs they also have sausages and burgers too.

LOVE this place. The burgers can be a little pricy, but they have additional toppings that you don’t find at most burger places like a fried egg! The chili cheese fries were really good in my opinion, too! The mac and cheese wasn’t the best, but not horrible. The employees are really nice. We told them that it was our first time, and they gave us coupons!

Update: I spoke with Anthony of Jerry’s Wood-Fired Dogs and he expressed genuine concern over my family’s experience at his restaurant. He definitely wants to deliver consistent products to his customers. I’ll definitely give them another chance to live up to the standard that got us hooked on their pastrami dogs and Philly cheesesteak dogs to begin with. I really appreciate a business person who cares as much as Anthony does.

This place has the best dogs around. They actually have a wood fire and custom cook your order on this wood fire grill — and for $ 6 or so. The quality and taste are amazing. It does take 10 minutes to get your order but they get it going right away and I would not want something pre-cooked. I recommend the pretzel roll too instead of the normal bread. The staff is really nice. And if you come in a few times they seem to memorize your order and ask you if you want your regular order. So its great food at great prices. The fries and chili are below par though. They also have a few tv’s playing but not too loud. Free unlimited peanuts on all the tables.

This place has some pretty good hot dogs. They’re menu is creative and includes a variety of flavors for your hot dog, burger, or salad and a plethora of add-ons which I thought was cool and overwhelming at the same time. Having made up my mind, I ordered the pastrami dog with spicy brown mustard. It was good considering there was pastrami on it and I especially loved the touch of spicy brown mustard although they could have added more. I’d have to say that the bread was only so so and to blow other hot dog spots out of the ball park, they’d have to change they’re buns for the better. I was also hesitant on whether I wanted to order chili cheese fries or a side of Mac and cheese so I asked the cashier which was more popular and she said the chili cheese fries were. In her personal opinion however, she recommended the macaroni and cheese because she said they were a big portion and she loved these so I went with that. She also said they were super delicious. Next time I’m going with what’s more popular! Minus a star for the liquid powdered texture of what is possibly the worse macaroni and cheese I’ve had in my life. :-(…Even the make it yourself Kraft macaroni and cheese is better in my book and that’s the least I can say. That was frustrating for me because I could have had the chili cheese fries but that’s okay. I just won’t be coming back here for awhile… maybe if I’m REALLY hungry.

Without a doubt the food was overall OK. The french fries could’ve used much more crunch and seasoning. The tator tots were really good and tasty though. The teriyaki burger was good and the hot dog was well put together. :) I think the service was difficult to gauge because it’s not a sit down service type joint. You order and then wait for the order and done. On this one I’d say no real score is possible.
