we LOVE this place. the green papaya salad is our favorite starter… followed by green and yellow curry and spicy noodles. the wait staff here is attentive and friendly and always accommodating…

I’ve been here for both sit in and take out several times. The food is very good and their staff is friendly and normally very attentive. I actually love this place. I came here last night with my boyfriend to pickup our order which was placed over the phone 20 minutes prior. It was a Friday night so I understand that they were busy. But my boyfriend and I stood right in front of the counter, with 2 male servers on the computer punching in orders and printing out their customers’ bills, along with another female walking back and forth by the waiting area next to the kitchen entrance/registers and NOONE even looked at us to acknowledge we were there. No greeting, no «we’ll be right with you,» not even a quick look up and smile. And this was a good 5 – 6 minutes. And the entire time, we can see our order in a plastic bag behind the counter. I’m not going to give them a bad rating. I’m not going base my entire review on this specific event because like I said, I come here all the time and I love this place. Maybe they were having a bad day. Who knows.

I’ve been going here for years. This place is really consistent food wise. Service is great! Alex is always excited and engaging. The pricing is fair for Thai food. Favorite dishes are the pad siew, pad Thai, and orange chicken. The décor and ambiance is welcoming and the place is very clean.

I am constantly on a search for the best Thai in every city. Diho is a must try and the Panang is delicious! It is at the top of my list for sure.

I used to be a big fan of this place, the quality of the food is pretty good for Thai(especially around here in Orange County), however tonight this place definitely removed itself groom the list of restaurants on my list. Placed an order using the online form through Unilocal at 7:20. It is now 8:25 and they just looked at me like they didn’t see me thirty minutes ago. Terrible customer service.

This is the worst restaurant for customer service. I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for my order that I only ordered 3 items. I will never go to this restaurant again because of their bad service. They tell me it’s because they have only 1 cook as if that’s my problem. Hire more people… I give them a 1 star on service.

I tried them for the first time on a carry out order. I called it in and drove over to the pick it up. I then waited 1 hour and 5 minutes for my food. I only ordered two small items. I will never order from them again. Terrible service.

A local favorite but take-out can be uneven– sometimes it’s a short wait, other times a long wait. I suggest you call your to-go order in ahead of time– 15 – 20 minutes. That being said, it’s nothing too adventurous– the kids I know will eat it– so it’s not too spicy or crazy. I like their avocado curry and Tom yum hot and sour soup. The kids like the potstickers– which are made with chicken instead of the traditional pork. The satay is good but the peanut sauce isn’t intense enough for me. The staff here go out of their way and are very nice. Tae in particular is a sweetheart. Cute little dining room if you want to dine-in. Nice neighborhood place…

I was seriously disappointed with this restaurant. I ordered for pick up food, because I had to work. I walked to the restaurant at the pickup time they designated. Waited almost 30 minutes standing around. Then after that amount of time again being asked what I ordered. Hello! It was online in plain ink almost an hour and a half ago. They made it then. And the portions looked like it was the leftover scraps from another person dish ordering the same thing. I typically wouldn’t put up a stink, however if you dine in you’ll have food on the table in 5 minutes. So utterly frustrating. Why have online ordering if you can’t even do it. So mad I paid online! Would have just left.

Have only been for Thai food. The food and service are consistently delicious. With two people We usually opt for Pad See-ew and Red Curry. Servers are always friendly and the restaurant is clean and welcoming.

I will never eat here again and I will let everyone that I know including my co workers to stay away from this place. Ordered the egg foo young and it was greasy and poorly prepared. Asked them to exchange it for me and the older woman at the front gave me the hardest time. So rude! They told me to bring the food back and I’m hoping that they do not serve it to another customer. Stay away!

I’ve been here countless times. Never disappointed. The staff is efficient and nice. I enjoy the cashew chicken and the pad thai the most.

Myself and my family eat here a lot! This is a small chain and I frequent the Ladera Ranch location as well. We only come here for Thai food because it’s very consistent and not overpriced. This is not the best Thai food around but it’s one of the few places that has enough room to dine-in comfortably with a large family AND has good food. I’ve had great Thai food and I’ve had superb Thai food(in Thailand and in the US)…I’d give Diho 7.5 stars out of 10 for«traditional Thai cuisine taste and preparation». If you are not familiar with Thai food and don’t want to hunt down the hole in the wall family establishments, Diho Siam is always a good bet. Service has always been friendly and we’ve never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for a table. Why is it that most people only order take-out from Chinese and Thai restaurants? –I must recommend the«Ba Mee Haeng»(Fresh steamed golden egg noodles tossed with crispy garlic and our seasoned soy sauce, topped with homemade BBQ pork and served with bean sprouts and bok choy) It’s my new favorite! There is much more to Thai food than Pad Thai and peanut sauce!

I absolutely love this spot. Probably come here at least once a month when I’m craving Thai food. It’s definitely worth it to order the dinner sized portions of their meals– because they’re so damn good! My boyfriend always orders the pad Thai with chicken and shrimp and is thoroughly satisfied. I’m not much of a pad Thai person, so I either go with the Imperial Corn & Mushrooms w/chicken or one of their curries(which are all SOGOOD!!). All of the staff is super friendly and pleasant. I prefer to call in and order take out. They can get pretty busy on weekend nights. If you’re looking for a good Thai spot in OC you’ve found it! :)

Conveniently located on Newport Blvd and 17th Street in the same plaza as Fresh and Easy, Mimi’s Café and BevMo, it’s tucked away in a corner with ColdStone ice cream, Baja Fish Taco and Juice it up. The location is good and easy to get in and out. We came here quite a few times because of the convenience and not because of their food. The food was ok but definitely not great. The gravy in Raad Nar was plain and too watery; it also didn’t have much ingredients in it. The pork was dry so it’s a 2 star and I won’t order it again. Pad Se Ew flavor was better but pork was also dry so 3 stars. Spicy noodles had the best flavor out of all the dishes but it was way too greasy so 3.5 stars. Panang beef was average nothing to rave about so I gave it 3 – 3.5 stars. Service was ok most of the times but at times it was below par even when the restaurant was slow. A couple times we came in and there was no one in the front to greet us. One time we waited so long and ended up leaving to go next door to have Tacos. This is not my go to Thai restaurant but if I am in the plaza and feel like some Thai food I wouldn’t mind eating here.

By far the best pad Thai I have ever had reasonable pricing and decent portions. The lunch special is pretty good The pad Thai lunch special is about $ 10 but it comes with chicken and shrimp. Strongly recommend this place to Thai food lovers, also it’s minutes from the beach so it works out pretty good

Came here for an early dinner before a movie and ordered the pad thai($ 9.75) and the sweet and sour coconut soup($ 5.45). This place is pretty overpriced for what it is — the quality of food isn’t fantastic, and it seems like they’re trying to make up for it by fancy-ing up the ambience of the restaurant. I guess I had higher expectations of the pad thai, because several Unilocal reviews said it was tasty — it wasn’t too impressive and both my friend and I had mini tummy-aches afterwards. I probably won’t go back here, unless I’m craving thai food and plan to get take-out.

I live so close to this place but this was my first time eating at Diho Siam. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the dishes here. My favorite was the Coconut Tom Kha soup. The Pad Se-Lew, Raad Na and Spicy Fried Rice were also good. The chicken yellow curry was ok. Best for family style dinner. Good portions.
