friendly customer service, had a nice, knowledgable person come out to my house. I’d recommend them to friends and others who are in need of services.

My wife and her family have spent several thousand dollars buying appliances from SE&J for several years. They were great, super friendly and accommodating when we were buying an appliance but once we needed service on our new stove we were ignored, and forgotten. The person on the phone was rude when we asked when our service people were going to show up for our appointment and they later realized they were not going to show up at all.
Still six weeks since we made our initial request and still nothing. We found out today that they can’t make it out for another 3 weeks. Who needs to use their oven when they live way out in the country? Apparently we don’t.
We really liked supporting the local guys but they obviously don’t provide the same level of service once you’ve given them your money. Bummer.

Linda was so helpful and understanding as we were in a bind to replace all appliances in a property we had just two weeks to remodel.
She stayed well within our limited budget and got us everything we needed immediately so we could get the property on the market. Working with them was a sheer pleasure. I would say this is the best place you can get appliances, and we saved about $ 200 — 400 per appliance.

I bought a gas stove from this business for a house I own in Corvallis that is currently rented. They were terrific. After a different local appliance store would not return my calls, Emily from Stover Evey and Jackson was very prompt in getting back to me and suggesting a reasonably priced mid-​range appliance. I price checked on the Internet, and their price was competitive. Also they worked with me to solve some logistical and timing issues, and also worked closely with the contractor that had run the gas line for the stove so it could be installed and work. I enjoyed working with them, and will do so again.

Our personal experience with SE&J, three years ago, was extremely positive. They were very helpful, sold us a stove we love, delivered and installed it swiftly.

I’ll never buy an appliance anywhere else. When my refrigerator failed four years into its lifespan, the manufacturer refused to fix the problem. Stover, Evey and Jackson went above and beyond on our behalf – contacting the Amana representative about the situation, providing a loaner fridge for us, and eventually replacing the failed unit. When we experienced a similar situation with a Home Depot washing machine, we received no help at all. Lesson learned. SEJ is a class act – a company that truly cares about its customers.

I purchased a washer and dryer from here just to stay local and support a small Corvallis business. I paid more for my washer and dryer than a big box store but felt good about shopping locally. The girl that helped me was very friendly and helpful.
After I bought them, I realized I would need some bases for them since they are a little low for being front loader w&d. They quoted me 500 dollars for the bases!!! Shocked, I went to Home Depot and ordered them for $ 99. I called Stover and mentioned this and they came back with $ 150 plus $ 60 + for the installation.
I obviously can’t justify 200 plus dollars for just the bases after spending $ 1200 on appliances. So, I ordered them from Home Depot and wanted Stover to help me have them installed. After all, they installed my washer and dryer. Obviously I expected to pay the fee for installation which isn’t a problem. The older lady that works at Stover who seems very grumpy was extremely unhelpful and not very friendly. I guess she handles complaints? I don’t know.
Regardless, I would expect some help or understanding but there was none. I cannot install the bases, the washer and dryer needs them as they are too low and hurt your back when you bend down to do lots of loads.
Really, I think they should have been more helpful and at least ATTEMPTED to care one single tiny bit. It was VERY OBVIOUS, they didn’t. They sold their washer and dryer and are not interested in follow up service.
I will buy the rest of my appliances from somewhere else and do not recommend you shop here either.

Very fair prices — GREAT service! They went to bat for us when our nepturn washer broke down and was out of warrenty. They are honest — so very honest. We will buy all of our appliances from them.

Office staff no personality and rude.

They have great brands, wonderful sales people and the best service in Corvallis. A few years ago we bought an LG dishwasher from the local big box store. The LG didn’t clean the dishes, molded and took two weeks longer than expected to be delivered. The LG had to go and we were not going to return to the big box store.
So we went to Stover, Evey and Jackson. The sales and service was exceptional. We ended up buying a Bosch and LOVE it. During the installation they discovered a leaky part of a water pipe that was connected to our house. The replaced the leaky part for free and made sure all was well. We plan to buy all our future appliances from them in the future.

Reasonable prices, great sales group that is helpful, and best appliances in town. BUT, once I purchased our large appliance I thought I would get more help for the delivery crew as the sales staff had mentioned. Sales group mentioned that delivery guys would do all the set up and give a quick run through on the appliance but not so. The delivery guys had no personality and did not say anything unless you directly asked them. In the set up and delivery process some appliance parts did not even get finished putting it all together. I have bought many appliances and been a supporter of this local business for a long time and I still will but disappointed on the end of the process when as a customer you should be so excited to learn about your new expensive purchase. #CorvSMB
