RIPOFF!!! We were so misled it’s embarrassing! There was NEVER any mention on the 7 emails and phone calls that the September rent that was due on the 1st was for a move in date of September 22! NOTONEMENTION! It is not on the website and the Manager NEVER mentioned it when encouraging you to stay there. THEN, AFTER you sign a lease, the RENTDROPS! We pay $ 70 a month more than someone who waited until September 22 to sign the lease! WHATANINCENTIVE!!! This is the WORSTAPARTMENTCOMPLEXTOSIGN A LEASEWITH!!! DONOTGOHERE!(Oh, and they raised our rent over our contract and we had to catch it and sign an addended lease within a day or we were screwed for the year over their screwing us!)

Our daughter is a sophomore at OSU. She stayed in the dorms last year and this past spring we stumbled upon 7th Street Station in our search for 2013⁄2014 housing. First impression: Clean. Second impression: Safe. For all you Dad’s out there, those two are usually at the top of the list. After walking into the main office on a Sunday afternoon, our next two impressions: friendly & brand new! The office gal explained to us how they’d been open a year(explains the clean & new) and this place is designed on a quad living plan. Four bedrooms with private baths and a common kitchen & living room. Units are furnished. Now the bad news: Only one bedroom is available for the fall term and somebody is already interested. However, we were added to the list and advised to check back tomorrow in case that person backed out. Walked out of there telling both my wife & daughter that if the opportunity presents itself: POUNCE! This is the place for our daughter. The next day, we got that opportunity when our daughter got«the call» that the interested person was not going to take the room after all. Woo-hoo! Summer goes by. Our daughter has already Facebooked & connected with her future roommates, two of which are returning(staying over from last year). Everyone seems very nice. Moved our daughter in yesterday and I can’t say enough what a pleasant experience this has been. From the moment we first saw this place to driving away yesterday. I feel VERY good, as a father, about where my little girl will be living this upcoming year. I’m even more confident that barring a bad experience with roommates, I don’t think she’ll ever want to leave!!! So far, so good. Safe to say that at this point: her accommodations for the remainder of her college years are«as good as it gets». However, as a dad and the«bill payer», I’m also docking a star for their $ 30 a month fee to use my air miles Visa to pay the rent! Take away that astronomical credit card fee and I’ll be happy to give this place a full five stars. Some credit card fee is okay, but $ 30? Ten dollars is about the limit, guys!
