Taddei Iole, OD

Okay, I have some eye stability issues which makes reading difficult. I’m middle-​aged and I went to see a neurovision specialist in Valencia (nice man, but no eye exercises so limited improvement) and a doc in Tucson (she was a bit passive aggressive and her therapist was the one who decided which PT I would do by winging it and deciding off the cuff when I was thee) this was not helpful at all, but quite expensive.
Dr. Taddei did the most thorough eye exam I’ve had relative to this problem and I felt improvement after Dr. Taddei’s first therapy session with me. One session and my eyes felt like they breathed a big sigh of relief; my sore, overworked, exhausted eyes just felt, um, more normal. The next morning I noticed that that the world seemed more defined and saturated, more there. After just one session! This is truly amazing!
The other two «specialists» I saw in Valencia and Tucson cannot hold a candle to the highly skilled and very knowledgeable Dr. Iole Taddei. I am so grateful to have found her and can’t wait to see how great my vision can get! Neurovision therapy is expensive, but worth it so far. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Taddei was a miracle worker! So thankful I saw her. I am a teacher in my 30’s who suffered from migraine headaches & frequent headaches since the age of 13. I also spent time in an incubator when born, which can alter vision for life. I also have had students who have seen her in the past and had amazing results in their ability to process information and focus in class.
Therefore, I felt seeing her for a consult was a good idea. After working with Dr. Taddei for several months, I am happy to say I had significant positive changes. I no longer wear glasses! My vision «corrected» itself and I see just fine now. Totally worth every penny. My headaches greatly reduced as well. I can read, use the computer, and watch movies with much better ease than before. I only wish more parents would see out Dr. Taddei for their children to correct vision issues long before they become issues in the classroom. She even can work with babies!
Lastly, Dr. Taddei was very pleasant to work with and I highly recommend her services for both young and old.

Thank you VERY much for your work with my son! You have helped him on so many levels and improved the quality of our family life! Before receiving Vision Therapy, my son would struggle with homework every night. What should have taken him 45 minutes to complete became a 4 hour routine of tears, anger, and loss of important family bonding.
My son could answer multiplication problems off the top of his head, but presented with a sheet of problems he would immediately start talking about how stupid he was.
He could be given an essay topic and answer questions orally in an articulate manner, but sit him in front of a blank piece of paper or computer screen and he would get himself worked up into an emotional state because he couldn’t write down the PERFECT opening sentence.
My husband and I ended our nights in frustration, utterly wiped out.
Coming to you was a relief for ALL of us! After being assessed by you, both my husband and I could see what parts of our son’s brain and eye muscles literally did not work! You explained what wasn’t happening for our child, and what outcomes this might have for him. This allowed the 3 of us (4, including you) to finally become a team that could work together to support our son’s physical development and to provide him with the skills he needed to read, to comprehend, to focus.
It was hard work for us ALL! The first week of vision homework was so difficult! I honestly wondered if it could possibly be worth it! I’d have to remind myself that what seemed so easy for me (crossing my eyes, or tracking movement) was something his body was still learning to do!
Within 1 week, I saw a difference! The homework you’d given him that had been so hard at first was now something he could easily do! His attitude toward himself and his schoolwork changed, as he saw how working hard was paying off.
I appreciated that every time we came to your office, you were excited to see my son. You really cared about what he was learning about himself. You established a rapport with him. He was honest with you, accountable, motivated. Not many adults can do that with a 12-​year old boy!
My son comes home from school now with a clearer, more organized idea of what homework needs to be done, how to go about it, and what he can do if he’s having trouble understanding. He is willing to approach teachers if he needs help, because he now knows enough to understand what he doesn’t understand! I love picking him up and hearing how excited he is about a class discussion in which he participated, or how what he was reading in class made sense to him and he was able to explain it to others.
Dr. Taddei, thank you for taking the time and care to help us to be more supportive of our son’s needs, and to help him build both his confidence and ocular muscle strength! I have and will continue to recommend you to others struggling with vision challenges!
