C Jones Painting & Remodel

Had a small paint job needed… found him on Redbeacon… he came over, gave me a quote (high, but I needed it done)…made the appt… I called him 30 minutes after someone was supposed to be here… he said he LOST my number… but it was on Redbeacon. Unprofessional… and he just lost a BIG paint job that I was asked to recommend someone by a close friend. Hope he learns a lesson that no job is too small… there may be others right behind it.

Chris was great to work with. As a local contractor, I am always searching for good subcontractors. Chris was responsive and delivered a great finished product. My customer was extremely happy with the result. I would refer or use C Jones Painting for future projects.

The back story to this is that I had neglected our 20-​year old home for four years (primarily because a serious injury took my focus away from caring for our home’s exterior on schedule). Consequently, I missed my normally scheduled 5-​year repainting date by those four years (it had been a total of 9-​years since the last repaint service). Since our home’s exterior visibly suffered from this total neglect (seen as peeling paint, cracks in the wood siding, gaps in joints, etc.), I knew that it needed some very serious work. Therefore, I realized I should not simply seek out the lowest bidder without any consideration for their attention to detail — I needed to find a detail-​oriented organization. After interviewing three painters and receiving their bids, I decided to reference Unilocal before I made my final decision. I was sure happy I did because Unilocal is where I found Chris!
Chris was remarkable. He worked according to our preferences and organized the job so that he had painters available. Consequently, he finished most of the project well within my requested time line and met my every need for attention to detail. Chris personally managed his team and made sure he was available every step of the way. The end result was a job very well done — so much so, neighbors have commented that my house «looks new»!
I look forward to calling on Chris and his team for any future projects we expect to have (e.g. interior wall, kitchen drawers, etc.).

Chris painted our two story, commercial warehouse/​storefront for us last week and I’m delighted with the results. Working with Chris was fast, efficient and affordable.
