Babygap

This location has the worst customer service, one employee in particular. I returned a maternity shirt a bit late and she was very mean about it (I had the receipt and everything – and I wasn’t pregnant so I couldn’t exactly wear it anymore. we moved and had a baby so I couldn’t make it in sooner.) Then, the next time I was in the store the same employee (middle aged woman… name starts with an M I think) was working in the clothing section and was chatting with fellow employees and her friend for a very long time but also couldn’t be bothered to greet me or to help find a size.
Shop online or find another place to shop!

If you’re looking for some cute baby clothes, this is the place to go. However, after visiting this store in the Corte Madera shopping center, I would find another babyGap, or shop on their web site.
There was absolutely no employee in the store! It adjoins the Gap store and I found one employee at the cash register. They were happy to take my money, but not interested in helping me to find something.
The babyGap store was a disorganized mess, but maybe that was because there was a sale going on and it was transition time to the Spring offerings. That, however, is not a good excuse for what I saw.

Bang for your buck… especially during the sales! For boy’s clothing this is just the best. Always have the classics, in all the various sizes and you can’t beat the quality. I just love this store. Weekend shopping gets a little crazy, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. 5 Stars all the way!

I feel like babyGap stores are sometimes few and far between these days. So whenever I see one I make it a point to check it out and see what the offerings are in person. I’m always looking online. The store is nicely spaced with all the new items in the front. And then in the back closer to the cash wrap is their sale section. This location had quite a bit of toys and books from other companies. The sale section had some nicely priced items in varying sizes, which was nice to find.

Would buy most everything in the store. Love it. Functional, cute. and my girl looks fashionable without spending a ton. Great sales, and they frequently offer discounts on new arrivals as well.

Have to agree… this is a great store — more for the staff than the offerings, although GAP has improved tremendously in the latter. Full gift and toy section in the back make it easier for completing the ideal gift in one swoop. Staff stays on top of what they have and even remember us. Was extra surprised to find Maclaren strollers and other higher end baby gear in stock as well! From infant through 5T window. Chances are a petite or slim 5 year old may still fit more comfortably in their bigger sizes.

Five stars to the young blond mom who works at this store — I was a clueless non-​mom on the hunt for my best friend’s baby shower gift, prepared to be practical with my $ and go with a 12-​month+ wardrobe. She gave me the skinny (that’s not practical for the mommy-​to-​be — everyone else will do that and my poor friend’s bambino will be naked as a jay bird for the first three months of her life). She scoured the store and laid out the essentials (and they were all on sale to boot)! Way to go, blondie!

While I’m not a fan of spending a gazillion dollars on baby clothes that they will outgrow in a few months, I am super fan of their sales rack. I also love Baby Gap, because they were the first people to come out with the adjustable elastic band in the pants and shorts (and having a skinny & tall kid, this has come in VERY handy). They carry so many cute things for girls, that I hate coming here because I always leave here sad because I want a girl too! But, I have to settle for buying all those cute girl things as birthday presents, getting dressy stuff for my son when needed (the coats are always nice), and thanking baby gap because this is usually the first place you will find thermals in the winter.

This Gap has a great baby selection with an awesome clearance area in the back, girls on one side boys on the other.
The staff is very helpful here.
