Omg can not rave enough about this place! The best emergency vet ever! Wish all vets were so friendly the staff and receptionist are amazing super sweet and helpful! Latin American vet is one of the sweetest vets I have ever been too! Can not express as enough gratitude to this place! Nicest clinic ever!,!!!,

I took my dog in a week ago to get treated for bad vomiting and shaking. They ran a test, sent us home with some medicine, charged us and sent us home. Two days later my dog got worse, I took her back, they did a urinalysis and prescribed more medicine and sent me home. One week later my dog had the same issues so I called VCA back. Some tech (a male) called me back and told me the vets should have had a pancreatitis test done, blood work and my dog should have been hospitalized. I questioned why the two vets would not do that and tell me something different and he responded that there are other vets and I can take them there. I told him that I already paid them almost $ 700, I am being told by him that the vets did not do what they were supposed to do and questioned why he is telling me to go to a different vet and told him he needed to come up with a better answer. He then said he will not help me and hung up. So if I went to the animal hospital to speak to a vet, came in calm (knowing if I scream and yell nothing gets resolved, I truly just want my dog better!!!) I explained to the girl what happened and she went back called the police and sent the vet tech I spoke to out. He started denying what he told me, changed the story and nothing got resolved. The police even question why they were called. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. I came in wanting to talk to a vet about my sick dog and the tech and girl in the front called the cops so they would not have to answer. They both smiled at each other when the cops came and of course nothing happened because we did nothing wrong. The vet tech told the cops that I started cussing at him so I laughed and suggested that they pull the tapes from the video cameras and they said that they could not do that without an office manager. The real reason is because I did nothing wrong!!! Honestly, I am 6 months pregnant with twins and have a dog that has been sick for a week. I just want her better and I want an answer not to argue with an irrational tech, 1 week and $ 700 later. I never once raised my voice only demanded an answer. Go somewhere else!

My dog passed away yesterday on Labor Day. When I called Oso Creek to inquire about cremation, the female that I spoke with on the phone had no compassion whatsoever. Since I’ve never been through this before I didn’t even know what the whole process was. She rudely replied back with «well what do you want to know?». When I asked her about how long it takes, again she rudely replied back «4 – 6 weeks». I was stunned at the answer and she just kept saying it over and over like it was nothing. She did not have any patience to explain things. Although I appreciate you being open on Labor Day, that female should’ve not been the person answering the phone and I believe she could have handled things a lot better.

They were right on spot when I called in. Katie the receptionist was wonderful and thoughtful.
Dr. Bass was extremely caring, compassionate and thorough in her examination.
The vet tech was also extremely knowledgeable and understanding in the discharge instructions with medications. Drove from Aransas Pass and it was well worth it for an after hours call.
Pricing was reasonable for a 9 PM call.

VCA Oso Creek is a very professional and compassionate practice. They have taken care of my pets since I moved here in 2004 and treat us like family. Their vets are up on all the state of the art procedures as I can attest to because my pets have had everything from cancer to immune hemolytic anemia and they have diagnosed these things immediately and recommended specialists if necessary and/​or started treatment on site to stabilize the pets. They have saved my pets numerous times, once an emergency spleenectomy, that would have ended my pets life if they had not had the up to date scanning equipment to see the problem immediately while I waited. From the front desk staff to the techs to the vets who are always there ²⁴⁄₇ this is the only place I take my fur-​kids. They know my name any time I walk in and the names of my pets and greet them with the care I’m sure they give their own pets. You will not go wrong with their services because they truly care about the pets they treat and have additional medical credentials for things like laser treatments and accupuncture. I’m so glad we have this high level of veterinary hospital in our own backyard.

I wouldn’t say their actual vet services are a 3, they are likely higher, but the customer service was lacking. We we’re very concerned about our sick dog about an hour before closing and when we called I got the «…well you can bring him in if you want but…»
The concern for us and our dog was lacking. Then they seemed to throw out a bunch of treatment plans before they really examined him. Talking about cost before care made me a little uneasy.
The facility is amazing, state of the art but after getting the steep quotes I guess you see what you’re paying for.

Update. Received a call from management yesterday. I appreciated the call and their willingness to make things right.

Our dog had a limp so we took her there at 8 pm. Of course we got there and she acted normal so we just decided to go home. This was after the vet tech did the first check-​up before the vet came in. They didn’t charge us anything when we left early and I feel like that is great customer service! Wonderful place!

I’ve been taking my two cats Isabell and EG to this clinic since I first moved to Corpus a few years ago. Isabell when we arrived in Corpus was the ripe age of 17 years and EG was roughly 11 years. Needless to say I did not have simple young and completely healthy cats.
Oso Creek helped me keep Isabell comfortable through renal failure until it finally claimed her life in late 2011. The vet and staff is always extremely nice even when you are in hysterics… which is not something that most vets can do. The vets here actually understood that my cat was very old and sick. EG now 14 years has been completely healthy and still gets shots and flea med prescriptions from this vet.
However the only thing that is the downside and the reason I’ve giving four stars is that they are EXTREMELY pricey.

When our dog was ill on Christmas Eve night, the folks at Oso Creek didn’t balk, squabble, or do anything other than show us kindness and compassion. They helped us carry him in, got him xrays and a thorough diagnosis. Unfortunately our visit there did not end well, but their level of service made it more bearable. We miss our dog dearly, but knowing the quality of care he received in the end tells us that Oso Creek is our veterinary hospital-​of-​choice for all of our pets now.

The staff there is so awesome. It’s clean everyone is caring. It’s just in a really steap price range for me.
