Absolutely great customer appreciation and customer service. My son and I love this local business.

Great bike shop, very skilled staff, and a family owned business for a long time– met the owner after I had a terrible experience at Bay Area Bicycles– he was very friendly, obviously wanted my business, charged a fair price(a lot less than the other shop) had my bike back to me when promised, and genuinely thanked me for my purchase. I will be back!

In August 2014 I bought a bike for my son’s 6th birthday there. The staff was great and helped me select a great starter bike. My son was so happy to ride a Specialized bicycle just like his daddy.

I have definitely experienced better. No welcome, no smiles. Sad because it is a nice looking shop. Sucks when you go into a shop and it doesn’t feel like they even care that you’re there.

The Pedal did a great job on my bike! They exceeded my expectations. This is my first bike with any sort of speeds, gears or dérailleur systems. I’ve only ever pedaled bmx. Where the only speed I knew was fast and it was up to how hard I was willing to pedal. So coming onto a mountain bike platform I was unsure what to do with all the new hardware. I attempted to learn it myself through Youtube videos and other how-to articles, but I was unsuccessful in my attempts. I just couldn’t get it to have smooth transition and 7th gear was iffy. So after much frustration and a lowered confidence, I decided it’d be worth it have it looked by someone who actually knew what they are doing. I brought it in on a Monday night and they had it ready the following Saturday afternoon. Not only did they get my derailleurs all dialed in, but they clipped some wires that were frayed on my front brake and rear dérailleur and secured a cap on each end. A nice touch, these guys send you home with a bike that is in better condition than you dropped it off in. I ride about 6.5 miles a day on this bike and I’d say I’ve put 30 miles on it since getting it serviced. The gears switch over smoothly throughout the range and without delay. I didn’t take a look at any of their bikes or accessories, but it seemed like they had a pretty good selection. I didn’t look at any tags either so I can’t say if this place has competitive prices or not. I can say however that it was about $ 20 for the services performed. That price is worth not being frustrated with my own poor results. I haven’t given up learning more about my bike and using videos off of Youtube, but if I run into problems I’ll be bringing it back.

Awesome staff(knowledgable and friendly). I wish we had this shop where I live. They were the host/bike shop for the HITS triathlon series this weekend, and their help was KEY to my finish. Shop has a good selection for both tri and road riders and great hours /location.
