TGI Fridays

Ordered a bottle of wine, a beer and some nachos. The beer came out pretty quick and was fine. The bottle of wine took 10 or 15 minutes. When our waiter brought the bottle it was already un-​corked and our waiter tried to pour it into our glasses with out even pouring a taste/​test. When we said «Whoa» he told us it was «New Corporate Policy» to have the bar tender open all wine at the bar rather than in front of the customer at their table. This sounded like total bull shit. We should have refused the bottle but we were in a hurry and didn’t want to wait another 15 minutes so we tasted the wine and it tasted like what we ordered (a wine we drink frequently) so we accepted it. When the Nachos came out about half of them were burnt on the top. Pretty pathetic!

Just left after being served by John in the bar section. There were only two other tables in the entire bar area. We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by him and then another girl brought our food out. She had to bring our plates and we never got silverware. He came back maybe 20 minutes later to change the tv behind us and refilled my drink once in the hour and a half we were there. Took another 10 – 15 minutes to pay my bill. Worst service ever!

I had the French Dip and it was great. I know Friday is not known for food but more of the bar/​drinks and appetizers. I had great service and do recommend the appetizers.

I came in here today because I was feeling like taking a trip down memory lane and getting their mozzarella sticks and chocolate milk.
I was thrilled to find out that they had unlimited mozzarella for only 10 dollars! Great deal!
I asked my server «I know I’m 19 but I was wondering if you did unlimited chocolate milk for adults.» She laughed and said yes, that she loves the milk here. So do I!
I decided to over look the fact it took 10 minuets for her to greet me and another 10 minuets to get that sweet nectar of the gods.
In seconds I drank that stuff like I have never seen it before. And then she told me that it will be full priced for each refill.
After being their 30 minuets just to be lied to I decided to leave and go else where. Somewhere that will gladly take my money and support my addiction to chocolate milk.
2 stars because I don’t think other adults will have my chocolate milk issue. Just be aware that service is really slow

The waiter was hard to find and had to ask multiple times for one thing and it’s sad when sliders taste better from the Fridays frozen sliders then the sliders that come in the restaurant :/​the food sucked will not be back

Hubby wanted ribs for dinner and we got them! Great half rack with Jack Daniels sauce!!! Yumeeeeee!!! And great service too!

I like Fridays! Tried and true. The chicken and cheese is my favorite! Always have had good service and the appetizers are great!

This is my go to place for a drink and an appetizer or dinner with loved ones! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great! I especially enjoy it when they have a DJ in house playing all kinds of music — and it really amps up the place. My favorite meal has to be the Jack Daniels sauce Steak. The only reason I’m not putting 5 stars is because their bathrooms need to be stocked and cleaned more often. I have come across vomit in the ladies bathroom.

Had dinner and some drinks. First time at this Fridays and its been years since I’ve been to one, so I don’t remember the last experience, but its a great place to go with friends or on a date to have some drinks and the food was decent, with a good atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for a night out. I will go back.

Great food, great hours, great service! Request Pricilla every time I visit. Brownie Obssesion is my obsession but the Tennessee Whiskey cake is just as great! Love their deserts!

This is my first visit to Fridays and I can check this place off of my list as a place not to eat at again. The service, for endless apps, took 45 minutes with only about 30 customers in the place. The boneless wings were OK until I bit into a chicken bone!

Love it here… Although my husband did find a hair in his salad. The waitress did apologize and got another one for him. My fave is the sizzlin chicken and cheese.
I come for the peanut butter pie! So good!

Food was great and fast! We ate here twice during our business trip/​vacation and both times were fantastic! My sirloin was cooked perfectly on our first trip and my Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad was fresh on our second visit. My husband and I both agree that their Mozzarella Sticks were the best we’ve ever had!

Great service and reasonably prices. Burgers are not all that. I’ll prefer whataburger

Love the deals on the Menu, the atmosphere is great for family and friends. Food is great and the staff is friendly. Best if all the restroom was clean a major plus for me. I got the 2 for $ 15 combo and ordered the Spinach dip and The Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Pasta. Great deal I was stuff before I could even finish. Oh yeah they now have free Wi-​Fi!

They are one of the few places in this area that serve food and booze until 2. That’s all you gotta know.

Cant stand the way they have draft beer. The lines are total crap and everything taste really skunky. Food is not very good. I wish they would update there selection of beers, but first and foremost get a decent system to get the best beer #awefulbeersystem

This used to be one of my all time favorite spots but NOT anymore ! Lots of management left this place and long time servers went with them. Every since that, TGI Fridays in Corpus Christi has been going down the crapper slowly but surely.
Servers are so phony, they want you to think they are just so nice but its just not genuine and it reflects. And as fast as they can say «how is everything guys»? as fast as they disappear like a bolt of lightning, as if to minimize their job requirements as much as possible.
I never got a refill on my tea, until I hunted down the server and asked her. I also had to ask her for more napkins, twice. Our discarded plates were never picked up until I made a fit about it. My friend’s french fries were cold, and I went to the hostess up front to ask for a manager and he never CAME ! I got up to ask where he was and the unhelpful hostess told me he was still on his way. But he still never came. Actually he went to the wrong table. He went to the people behind us. I never directed him towards us, because at this point I didn’t want to even vent my frustrations to a clueless manager. It would have been a waist of time.
I’m sorry but if you are having to constantly ask the watiress for things they are not doing their jobs. They don’t have to be mind readers, just good at what they do. It is possible, I have had servers at other places just be on their game. And I tip well when they do.
Note to Wait staff: Please be real, don’t be phony. It is very well detected.
Also, earlier in the week I went to the bar about 4:30pm on a Saturday and the bar was filthy, not clean and the bartender was more interested in counting her money in the register than helping me, I happened to be in solo that afternoon. I gave up and went somewhere else. Yep.
And check this out. About a month earlier a fight broke out and spilled into the booth where I was seated and they fought on top of our table ! I was inches away from flying fists… the Police took 30 min to get there and the managers never asked if I was OK… they were more interested in hanging outside waiting for the police to show up. The guy who started the fight hung out for 15 min and then split before the cops got there. They wrote down his plate number though.
GHETTO.

Good food but not really a fan of those wonton tacos or whatever they are. One bite and I was done with them.
Service was OK but a different server kept helping us out while ours was nowhere to be seen.
All in all a decent place to spend time with friends
