Tannins Wine Bar is an awesome place to wine, eat and have a relaxing time to enjoy while doing it. The staff are courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Their passion for great wines and selecting one that meets your personal needs and circumstance are above reproach. They also have some of the best salads I have ever had in this town, especially the one with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Absolutely love it! Please go visit and experience exceptional food, fun and wine at Tannins…

My wife and I stopped in for the first time to check it out. This place was really classy and the ambience was on point. We were promptly attended to by our server who was able to suggest some offerings. We got the Hybrid Charcuterie platter with Spanish chorizo, pepperoni, ham, sliced apple, pecans, Brie, manchego, and chipotle cheeses. It was totally awesome! We also got the house made ceviche which was delicious! The warm olives hit the spot in between and went perfectly with the rest of the food and the Alexander Valley Pinot Noir. The service was never lacking and our overall experience was a 10 out of 10. We weren’t totally dressed up but still fit right in as its a dressy casual place. They also have a great beer selection! We’ll definitely be coming back soon and often. Come in, drink wine, eat, laugh, and haaave fun!

So disappointed in this place. Was looking forward to a nice wine bar in a location that desperately needs nightlife and restaurant options, but I won’t be spending my money here again. Here are the standout points from my experience: 1. Wine selection is good, very reasonably priced. 2. Nice atmosphere. 3. Menu is not much in the way of tapas. It’s mostly cold food like salads and sandwiches. We did order one of the charcuterie plates, but charcuterie is even misspelled on the menu(hopefully this has been fixed). This is minor but just shows the carelessness going on. Also ordered a sandwich that was mediocre at best. 4. Now for the rub. We ordered a bottle of wine and one of the owners brought and served an open bottle of wine to us. When we pointed out that the bottle was open and asked to have another bottle, the waitress first said they were out of that brand of wine. We told her we were certain they were trying to pass off an open bottle as a new bottle and would assume, since they could not prove to us otherwise, that was the case. She reported back to the owner who did nothing for 2 minutes. When I finally made eye contact with him from across the restaurant, he grabbed a new bottle of the same kind of wine we ordered, brought it over, replaced our glasses and existing bottle, took the open one(and full glasses that we didn’t touch), and said literally nothing. Not an I’m sorry, I didn’t notice, not a word. Clearly, they have no business sense if they are attempting to rip off patrons who live in the area when they have huge competition with The Post. Won’t be returning even if we need to support the small businesses in our area.
