Great bartenders and waitresses. Decent pricing. Variety of a crowd that comes in. Good place to come have a day drink, not too busy but never too dead of a crowd.

Well I have to say had a great time being out of town from Austin tx asked where else to go to have a great time in all. Bartenders helpful was leaving and told the bouncer by the door thanks and see you soon gonna check out downtown where the bartender directed us and he followed us out saying we arnt ever to enter the bar again and shouldn’t have let us in the first place cause I have a tattoo on the back of my neck. I am old and when I was young I put a tattoo of a band I really enjoying growing up on the back of my neck. He said you can’t have tattoos on your neck at all and shouldn’t have let you in in the first place. Wow I felt we were having a great time and then got dumped on. I guess they took an old guy for an gangster or something. Kinda screwed up our night. Glad austin places don’t treat people like this I can understand gang affiliation but can’t blame everyone who has a tattoo can’t be at a place just crap.

Cool bar. Great service from the bartenders. Cold beers. Sorry I could make it to the early morning St. Patty’s day festivities due to catching a flight back home. A little late in writing the reviews from my trip in March.

This is the bar that people wanna go to at the very end of the night, or the very beginning.
I personally come to this bar when I wanna kick start my night with a couple shots, or when I want to end my night with a chill drink or two.
One of the main reasons why I come here is because of the hot dog stand that’s usually situated right outside, which has exceptional hot dogs/​burgers, esp when you’re drunk.
I find the drinks here tend to be a little on the expensive side, esp for regular shots even with wells.
Nevertheless, I still come here, whether or not it’s poppin’ because its on my usual barhopping route.

This place was cool and a great place to go to. The parking was hard to find but it was a busy night, so it is understandable. I like that there is a patio to go outside and hang out. The place make you feel comfortable and at home. I highly recommend going.

this place needs to be shut down!!! water down drinks cant complain about the bartenders they were nice but the bouncers are very unprofessional i witnessed them insulting customers also i was very surprised see how much force they used against an individual i thought they were going to kill a young man they were putting out cops were not called

I play trivia every week at Murdocks (FREE on Tuesdays from 8−10ish and you win $$…for those who are interested).
The bar has a nice atmosphere and isn’t very crowded (which I like). For trivia parts of the bar are much more full than others but I always feel like I have room to breathe. Sports are usually on TV but I’ve seen them put up CC important events before like election debates which is nice if you are trying to choose betweeen TV or social night. Drinks are strong and the specials are good! I’ve noticed they have new staff recently but all my waitresses have been decently attentive (some more than others) and I’m never dissappointed there. Some of the staff are real lookers too :)
Although they don’t serve food, you can always bring stuff in and Googly’s (amazing pizza) delivers there for free!
All in all a good chill place with cheap but effective drinks. What more can you want on a week night?

Stopped in at Murdock’s for a Saturday afternoon drink. It was pretty empty, probably because the evening crowd hadn’t shown up yet. The service was fast and friendly, the drinks were cheap, and while the ambience isn’t terrific, it’s a solid sports bar. If you’re looking to wet your whistle and watch some football in Corpus, Murdock’s is a good choice.

It’s divey but not in that cool way– just plain divey. Cheap and fun karaōke though!

Decent sized bar. A decent amount of tables for friends to hang around at and hold their drinks. The place has pool tables, arcade games, and tv’s. I guess you can call it a sports bar. They have table service for drinks. Overall if you are going with friends its a place to hangout.
