At first we thought the prices were a bit high, but the food was delish. Hubby had the shrimp tacos, said they were the best he’s had since we’ve been in Corpus

Met my family for lunch today and everything was excellent! Service was great, food was hot and delicious! The reviews on here didn’t do it justice!

The waitress was very unskilled. She did not know the menu and kept having to go ask. The 20 dollar ribs were tough and over cooked. It was more like throw some bbq sauce on them and broil speed cooked. This is not how you cook ribs. The over priced Gyros were blan. They didn’t even have the cucumber sauce to go with it. I recommend eating somewhere else.

Why did we not check Unilocal first? :/ Where are the customers? First clue. Do I want my ribs cooked medium or well done? Hmmm… second clue. Oh, those ribs were tough as a door knob at $ 20/plate. I could chuck down only 2 ribs. The remaining were fed to happy hungry birds. In return, I ate rabbit food. A tasty side salad with ranch. However, I must commend the bartender. Those pomegranate/blackberry mojitos were delicious. Thank goodness I’m on vacation and I have tons of snacks in the hotel room to keep me full of cheer.

Pretty good food. Someone was right about the sticky atmosphere but for a bar and grill that should be expected. Great view of the ocean and the USS Lexington across the street. Friendly service with little to no wait time. Great place to grab some food after a day exploring the Lexington or at the beach. It’s also under new management so all the negative reviews might be changed after a bit.

Bad, over priced due to location and not fresh. We order two salads and a kids plate for 43 bucks. Salads had very little if any chicken and you could tell came out of a pre order bag. Please avoid

Came here for a mix drink by the bay, but the drinks we’re very passive. Also, I ordered a daiquiri and it came out like sour mashed drink. The food was Okay, no real tartar sauce. The beach tacos were Good. The people are accommodating and friendly, but the quality was not good.

I am not usually one to complain, but service is extremely slow. Waited for over 30 minutes after ordering for waitress to come tell me that they did not have crabcakes anymore and to choose something else. The food was not very fresh or tasty. I also heard table next to me complain that were served a hot sandwich that was ice cold. I waited over 20 mins after I finished eating and never saw my waitress again until I had to locate her for my bill. She then gave me a bill for the original more expensive crabcakes that they didn’t have. Then had to wait for her to find a manager to fix the bill. I will never eat there again.

Fried pickles were limp, not crispy. Fish bites appetizer plate was over priced and should have been served on a smaller plate because for the price you got too few. Only pleasant thing was the waitress.

So so. $ 21 for 6 shrimp some rice and small salad is a little high to me. The atmosphere was a little lacking. First clue was that there were only 2 tables occupied at 6 in the evening.

Decent food; spent over $ 60 for 3 ppl and a 3 yr old drinking iced teas. Horrible service. The guy who greeted us said we could sit anywhere and left us abruptly. The place was empty and it took them 15 mins to get us a waitress. She thought they had at least given us menus and drinks but we had neither. She was pretty cool but seemed to be having problems w the kitchen staff and was the only one waiting tables while everyone else was doing nothing. We got the wrong food the first time she brought it out. Our appetizer never came and it wasn’t mentioned until our food came out that they didn’t have it. We could’ve ordered something else had they told us this before. Apparently our waitress left the restaurant entirely and I can’t honestly blame her. I only have it a 2-star bc the food was hot and pretty good.

Awful, awful service. Food is basically bar food, with unrealistic price tag. Stay away, I wish I would have looked at the reviews before coming!

This was the first time in my life that I walked out on a bar. We sat down and stared at the bartender mess around for about 15 min. We made direct eye contact several times so that it was obvious we wanted to order. At one point she clean glasses in front of us while completely ignoring us. She readily served other servers with drink orders and had time to clean the blender. We will not be back.

Don’t do it! Don’t try it! Drive out of Corpus to any other restaurant. Please don’t fall into this tourist trip. This restaurant was under staffed and not well managed. A party of 10, we waited well over an hour at 3 in the afternoon. The place was not crowded. we ordered numerous items all of which I could complain about. First drinks– I ordered a cucumber martini, which arrived warm-yuk. Did I mention the bartender was scary mad. The calamari was questionable– maybe frozen??? The miso soup was luke warm and so were the strawberries on the spinach salad. the oysters on the half shell and the peel’em shrimp smelled so fishy that our daughter who loves seafood pulled her shirt over her nose for the rest of the dinner. Save your money.

Very expensive, mediocre food. Save your money and drive down the road. It’s probably cooler to sit outside with the ocean breeze, it was uncomfortable inside.

I had the all American Burger the kids had fish and french fries and chicken stripes and french fries. my wife ands oldest had the guacamole burger. we had or sodas and All the sandwiches comes with fries. It was not the worst burgers we ever had but not exactly something to drop to your knees and scream, «I’m not worthy» like you might at the hub cap grill in houston. my wife said hers was a little over done I have to admit mine was a little like uncle Steve’s burger when he had a few too many beers at the family reunion but it was edible. the fries were cooked well though. and after I had a few Blue moons my burger tasted a lot better. they also serve an alcoholic Shirley Temple which I thought only contained Sprite and Grenadine so if you order these for your kids be aware. the service was good even though it was a little busy when we got there and is across-the-street from the Aircraft Carrier If you are going there stop by ands grab a cold one and some fries but hold off on the burger if its real busy. I bet it would have been a lot better if it hadn’t been a little overcooked from trying to rush.

If you are looking for a place with horrible service and music that is so loud you have to text to have a conversation this is the place for you. We had came in thinking it would be great but they couldn’t cook half of the stuff we wanted because they were«dinner items» and it was lunch time. The music was so loud that we could not hear the server and when we asked if they could turn it down, we were told the«DJ» said if he wouldn’t turn it down because it was fine in the other part of the dining room. We ordered drinks that took almost 30 minutes to get and we ended up leaving.

The food: The main courses were good and the sides were hit and miss. Great little hush puppies on one plate and severely over cooked but somewhat tasty potatoes on another. Asparagus cooked to perfection on one and unrinsed and gritty on another. A kids burger that was rather tasteless for one and a delightful serving of grilled shrimp with a tasty salad for another. I’ll maybe chalk any inconsistency to being open for only a week. The ambiance: What I don’t quite understand is what exactly is going on with the theme and décor if the restaurant. It’s seems to to be trying too many things at once. A casual patio with a nice view but really loud music and yellowish lighting, a slightly upscale minimalist looking interior with«pinups» on the walls and waitresses in outfits that are unnecessarily skimpy and cheap looking.(I’m no prude by any means but uniformity and quality may help the image here.) It tries to play on the cheap version of what they think a pinup should be? I think. I’m still a bit confused. The price: see posted menus The prices are normal compared to the areas competition.
