Took 2 hr sailing trip. There were 6 passengers and the captain so the boat felt full. The captain is an awesome individual but he talked most of the time showing a young woman how to sail and had her sail it most of the trip. I perhaps would have liked a little more quiet to enjoy the peacefulness and/or the captain having more than one person try their hand at the wheel.

First time here, visiting from Chicago. Where to begin. Gave my name to the hostess and she said wait is about 30 mins. I said ok we will go to the gift shop. Walked around for a good 25 mins or so then sat and waited and waited some more. Then I walked up to the hostess and said it’s been longer than 30 min’s do you know how much longer for our table and I gave her my name. I realized she didn’t write my name down when she couldn’t locate it and there were no longer people waiting and she nervously grabbed the menu and said«ya’lls table is ready». We get seated in directly in the sun which was fine for a few minutes then we requested a table change to the shade which they did. The waitress walked around several times a good 15 minutes passed and i looked at my husband in frustration and he said excuse me can we order some drinks. The waitress responded and said I apologize I thought you were already taken care of(mind you our table was empty-no menus no drinks NOTHING). I was trying to be as patient as I possibly could. She brought our drinks we waited a good 30 – 40 mins and still no food after we ordered only to be told I’m sorry your order ticket was misplaced I just replaced your order. BY that I time I was infuriated. I went in the gift shop and located the owner who is sweet as pie she was very apologetic about it all and said she would have the general manager come out to stay on top of our order. We received a few discounted items which was greatly appreciated. I felt that for everything that went wrong we should gotten everything free. ONTHEPLUS side the fried fish sandwich was amazing along with the chipotle Andouille sauce-it was quite tasty. Will I return? probably not just because the whole experience was a bad one.

Went for lunch. Food took forever to come out and when it did, the cheese on the quesadillas was cold. Had to reheat it. Also my chicken was that chewy/raw kind you get sometimes… Really unsavory Pickle tasted really weird too… Almost stale. And the quesadillas had a hint of fish, probably from the shared grill Would not recommend at all.

Great spot. Stopped here late twice while on work-travel. Staff super friendly. It’s a local spot so come here instead of the chain across the pier and support the scene. Both nights I was here superb customer service. Food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t anything to write home about. Good beer and liquor selection from the multiple bars. There’s also a gift shop.

I came on a beautiful day, not too windy or hot, best-case-scenario Harrison’s experience. My friends and I had drinks and ordered lunch, I had the crab cakes, which were great. I just love that this place is right on the water. It’s not the nicest place in the world but it’s great for a little«dock”-sittin’.

We just stopped in last night for a cocktail. It was sort of a slow night with very unpredictable weather so some of the larger areas were closed off. That was fine by me — we sat on floating deck and the slight rocking was very relaxing. The server was a bit off — he told us the«teas» we’re all on special but when we asked what was in them he couldn’t tell us. We asked what beers were on draft — he wasn’t sure. And he didn’t make an attempt to find out. Weird. Anyway a cool place to check out.

It’s all good! Crab cake was the best flavor that I’ve had out of all crab cakes. Wife had the amberjack fish sandwich and it was as equally amazing. This place truly deserves five stars.

The shrimp dip is not great. It looks like mayo or something. Definitely wasn’t something I wanted to eat. It tastes okay though. I wouldn’t get it again. I had the coconut shrimp and they were huge and excellent. A little greasy. But I can look past that. The fries were great. Boyfriend ate my broccoli slaw and he said it was pretty good. He had the fish tacos. He raved over them. Got them Cajun style. Plenty of fish, not too much sauce. Salsa was decent. It’s a cool idea for a location. But the water is nasty. So I don’t know that sitting at the edge is great.

I spent a little over an hour here waiting for my friend after her shift. The view of the Corpus Christi from the water was gorgeous! Some of the seats are like lifeguard chairs which was cool. Also cool was that half the place floats on the water. My drink was good, and I didn’t have any food. It’s a little awkward walking through the gift shop to get to the bathroom, but whatever. Service was adequate.

I highly recommend this restaurant for those who have a passion for sailing and dining near the water’s edge. The food was really good and they have a pretty good selection of fish entrees. The view was also scenic & magnificent, right by the marina.

We decided to try Harrison’s Landing before it was time to head to the airport. It was nice sitting out on the water, but it gets a little warm without a breeze though. My tablemates insisted on appetizers, and I definitely wasn’t going to say no. We tried the Calamari and their Crab Puppies. The calamari came out, and my eyes were immediately drawn to the shredded cheese on top. Cheese and seafood is one of those culinary sins that you don’t find too often anymore, so I was a bit shocked. At least the calamari was crisp and seasoned well, and the remoulade(which was really more like a peppercorn ranch) was very tasty. Their Crab Puppies are, as you might have guessed, hushpuppies filled with crabmeat and diced jalapeño. There’s also a spicy chipotle aioli that comes alongside. They were nice and spicy with a great batter. I found a lot of flavor in general, but if there was crabmeat in them, I sure couldn’t tell. For my entrée, I picked their Seafood Combo: an amberjack fillet, 4 shrimp, and 3 oysters. You have the option of grilled or fried for the seafood. I wanted my fish grilled and the rest fried, but apparently that’s not allowed for some moronic reason. I got everything fried just to simplify and moved on, with fries and asparagus as my sides. I liked the seasoning on the fries, but they were soggy and not at all crispy. The asparagus was a little overcooked and sort of stringy. There was enough seafood standing by that I didn’t feel the need for more than an initial sampling of the side dishes. The shrimp were a good size and were very crisp. The oysters melted in my mouth, with the crumbly batter disintegrating upon the slightest touch. The fresh-tasting amberjack had more of a fish-and-chips style beer batter, which was sadly a bit chewy. Actually, it tasted as if my fillet had been sitting under a warming lamp for a bit. Next time we’re in Corpus, I think we’ll try a different lunch spot.

My husband and I picked this restaurant while we were on vacation because it was dog friendly and we wanted to someplace to bring our pups. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The food was pretty good, and we’ll definitely be back for sure! PS. The outdoor seating area is a floating dock, so if small boats or rocking ships bother you, maybe skip outdoor dining and stay inside. ;-)

Major cudos to this restaurant for being dog friendly! We could not find a single place in Padre to eat and drink with our sweet older lab! They let us right in and gave Ruby a dog bowl to drink out of! They have a super margarita special where the house marg was either 4 or 5 $, I can’t remember. The calamari was awesome, really fresh with a nice sauce. My fish tacos were spicy and perfect! In other reviews you will read about the view. I will say this, the floating dock is really cool plus the tiki bar is cute, but you are looking at the pump where people empty their sewage. So I’m not sure if people know what they’re looking at lol. The view is not terrible, but it is definitely a view of docks and boats, by the ocean, which is what other reviews made me think. Still an amazing dining experience!

I’m updating my review. Even though the timing is in question, I would not have placed a bad review for a total visit of an hour and ten minutes. That’s not bad. I went back to review other Unilocal reviews on this place and it appears that many people have the same situation with long waits, poor customer service, and bad food. Our waitress disappeared and totally forgot about us so we had to ask the bartender to refill our waters, and when the food finally came it was cold and dry(must of been sitting in the kitchen for a while). The owner had the audacity to try to publicly shame me for my negative review on the place and insists that my sisters and I are liars. We tipped poorly because we believe that our service was poor, and being childish and unprofessional he states the tip that we left our waitress for the world to see. I wish I had recorded the time we were there, but unfortunately we don’t have the proof and it’s his word against ours. If publicly shaming and bullying your customers into deleting their review of their poor experience at your establishment is how you conduct business, I definitely will spread the word for others to skip this place. The only good things this place has to offer is their weak drinks(recommend sitting at the bar), live music, and the view. If you want disgusting food and rude customer service you’re in the right place.

Great food, amazing ambience, nice staff. It’s a great spot. One of the best spots to dine. Floating restaurant and bar. Attached shopping with cute items. Not 5 star because of the food. Just below 5 star. Good meal. I had the blackened snapper. Comes with grilled zucchini and wild rice.

Location and ambience are the reason we eat here. Floating deck with views all around. Fantastic. : Dog Friendly : On our third visit, we had our beagle with us and they made us feel welcome. : Wait and Vibe : No wait on a windy Saturday evening, because we were willing to sit«right next to the music.» Turned out the music was one guy with a synth setup singing and playing pretty cool and softly. Staff was really attentive and very friendly. Manager came out to greet us. Vibe was relaxed, which they mention on the menu — «We are not a fast food restaurant, please relax and enjoy.» Great advice at a place like this. : Our Food : Matt had blackened fish tacos and lobster bisque, both outstanding. Crisp cabbage and spices were not overdone, perfect. Greg had panko shrimp, large and tasty. I had grilled snapper, fresh and delicious. The calamari appetizer was a bit rubbery, would skip that next time. : Overall : I was so happy we were here instead of the chain Landry’s with a bunch of people waiting. : Bonus Activity : Don’t forget to walk around the T-Head to see the old decrepit Pinta replica and imagine what it was like to cross the ocean in that size boat in 1492, not sure when you’d arrive!

There was a bit of a wait to sit down and to be served after sitting down. They had a special going on that was $ 20 for an appetizer, two entrees, and dessert. Fish tacos were incredible! We got them without the flour tortillas.
