Under no circumstance should you order any of the specials without asking the price. With most entrees on the menu in the $ 25 – 50 range, the tomahawk steak was $ 150. Upon receiving the bill and asking both the server and the floor manager about the cost, the response was«we don’t tell the price unless the customer asks.» When I called the manager of the restaurant the following day, I received the same response, along with«some customers would find telling the the cost of a menu item insulting because they think you think they can’t afford it.» Seriously? This is just totally dishonest and fooling the customer. There was no transparency. It was purposeful and deceptive. If you don’t want to «embarrass the customer» by telling them the cost of the specials, then write them on a card and attach it to the menu.
