First time here. Ordered two pounds of Carnitas and a couple pastor tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious! The pastor was nice and spicy and cooked perfectly and the carnitas are great! Not to mention huge handmade tortillas

I love this place and get tacos here 1 or 2 times a week now. The best carnitas in Corona. Rather then writing a brand-new review, i edited my old one. Upped it from 4 stars to 5 stars. In a small so/so shopping center with its own parking lot. Medium-size, family owned restaurant. They also offer a good variety of Mexican beers and all sorts of sodas. Food and service are all excellent. People are super-nice. Order even one single taco to eat there and you are served on an actual plate! The guy there/husband or son/depending which lady is working, looks really tough but is in fact one of the nicest guys one can ever meet. Order one of these bottled Mexican sodas, sometimes hard to open, he opens it for you! OLDREVIEW: I’ve been there twice now since just reading about them on Unilocal last Saturday. 1st Visit: Mole Plate: Homemade Mole. Thick, dark, plenty of chicken, flavorful, but not spicy, served with excellent refried beans and rice on the side. And complimentary homemade tortillas. This $ 10.00 plus tax plate easily makes 2 meals. 1 Carnitas Taco — plenty of good Carnitas on a homemade tortilla with all the fixings. 2nd Visit: 2 Carnitas Tacos — had a hard time finishing them. Their Carnitas is what brought me back. The best Carnitas in Corona, per some Unilocalers and I agree. Carnitas Tacos, served on large homemade Tortillas at $ 2.50/each One can fill you up. But they are so good — who can stop at one? Carnitas Zaragoza also sells their Carnitas by the pound — but they do tend to run out i’m told.

This place gives you a mom and pop feeling, you can tell it’s family members running this place. Menu isn’t too fancy, just the basics to make this place good. Tacos, burritios, tortas, quesadillas and some plate offerings. All i order was a pound of carnitas for $ 8. Good flavor, nice and greasy. Something good for the morning after a night of drinking. My only issue with this place is that they don’t give you onions, cilantro, salsa and tortillas with your bulk order. Most places I’ve been to before usually give you everything included in the pricing. This place will sale you the onions/cilantro for $ 2 and the salsa for $ 4. Overall good food, I will be back to taste the menudo and the rest of their offerings.

We love their mole and carnitas and chilequiles. It’s a little hole in the wall but their Mexican food is authentic. Señoras are in the kitchen cooking it. It’s hard to find good authentic Mexican food in corona especially when coming from Santa Ana. The food here is delicious. Oh and homemade tortillas too!

I love this place! Their carnitas are delicious. Hand made tortillas, a great variety of Mexican sodas. After moving to corona from East LA I had not found a good authentic Mexican restaurant till now! I definitely recommend this place.

Super nice owners and very clean inside dispite the run down location. Standard menu, fair prices, though I was hoping for cheaper tacos on taco Tuesday. Nope, $ 2 each, $ 2.50 for homemade tortillas. I had one with all pastor and while it was fine, nothing special. My husband had the asada burrito, again OK, though he did not really enjoy the meat. Probably our fault for not getting the car it as, highlight is the great service and super yummy green sauce/guac mix that they brought out as well as the joy of supporting local businesses.

I have lived in Corona for a few months now and stumbled into this place a few weeks ago. I must say that I have gone back more than once. I had the birria de res with consome and I really liked it. Good salsa casera and hand made tortillas. They give you plenty and don’t mind when you ask for more. They sell cold beer as well for the hung over peeps. I also had a taco de carnitas to see what they were like and they are also very good. The ladies in the kitchen look like they could be your tia. Nice feeling. I recommend.

They have another store in Santa Ana and was told the carnitas are best early in the morning. Best I could do was 9am and it was half gone already. $ 8.00 a pound comes with cilantro, onions & lime. Got home it was still hot and warmed up a 4 corn tortillas. Added the carnitas, onion then sprinkled some cilantro. Added a little lime & salsa and enjoyed. Enjoyed the carnitas too much. No more corn tortillas so I’ll have more with eggs for breakfast with some flour tortillas with some beans on the side. Just sprinkle little salt and you’re in for some mighty fine eating as Jeter Clampet would say. Ooooo wi! Just joking folks. It is very good, this will be my stop on the way home from work for some fresh carnitas. I highly recommend this store for the carnitas and a little fat makes it tastier.
