Caprice is amazing.
I got a Groupon for a spray tan and it was my first time getting one. She was so helpful and walked me through everything. I will definitely go back if the tan looks good! I won’t know until tomorrow. But Caprice was amazing!!! Customer service was 100%!

LOVE the new versa spa! I always get so many compliments on my skin after I come in! I like the bronze spray vs the clear spray I’ve learned.

I love my bare tan, both Irvine and coma del mar!
Staff is always friendly and informative, and the place is up to date always with the top tanning and after tanning products, to help you achieve the best tan possible and maintain it.
I would like to say thank you to Carla, who was so sweet, and attentive after I was having a bad side affect from A product Bombshell I bought many times, that has the most advanced tingle then my body could handle. Unless I’m tanning more frequently.
My hands and body was shaking and I was red as a lobster, not from tan but from product that goes away 10 – 15 minutes later.
She imedieteky gave me a tall glass of water and had me lay down in another room that was not hot, and had the air containing put on for me, to release my shaking side affects.
Again, nothing to do with them or their beds.
It’s an advanced cream I bought when I used to tan more frequently. Thank you Carla!!! See u back soon, without a product with huge tingle. LOL

Been going here for YEARS… Both Bare Tans are fabulous!

I have been going to Bare Tan for 3 years. I just went tonight with a Groupon and they said I could not use it. I used one in June. I thought this was a new Groupon they put out. It says one per customer but you can by 2 for gifts. So I bought one! It never said you could not use it when another Groupon comes out or new customers only.
That being said, I went in and the girl at the desk, who is super sweet, said I couldn’t use it. The manager was coming so I waited. I do marketing for a large company known for its customer service. We never say No! Never! The manager, who was pleasant, said no, they run this groupon all the time. (So it is not anything special). How would a customer like me know it’s the same groupon? It popped up when I searched.
There was no info when I used it the first time that I could only use once and they run it all the time. The language is not clear.
So, I assumed they would at least apply it to my session. Nope. Wouldn’t do that. That is terrible customer service. I would have been wiling to apply it. They only offered me there packages and told me to get a refund from Groupon.
Sadly, they lost a customer over $ 19. And, they will lose more as I will tell my friends. And coworkers… I can’t in clear conscious recommend this place.
Not to Bare Tan. you should accommodate your customers and we would be loyal forever.

When I go to a tanning salon I expected to be a place of comfort clean and fresh. I’m so turned off by this place I will never come back unless I read a review that tells me that this place is been cleaned up and perhaps even remodeled. The receptionist and reception area (with all due respect to the lady) was unkept and didn’t elude to anything youthful or fresh. They have some kind of television contraption hanging out by the seats with wires all over the place trash on the floor and dust everywhere. Yet reluctantly I decided to go in for one tan. OMG was I in for a surprise. The tanning booth where I change my clothes was uncapped trash on the floor weird hangers by the door with two dollar headphones and long wires hanging everywhere. Dust on the vents and the place smelled musty. I looked at the tanning apparatus itself and it was the worst I’ve ever seen with duct tape over where I think the stereo should be and a broken control apparatus to work the fan mechanism. Seriously it needs to be replaced! Sheesh.
Fearing that there is a possibility that I could be electrocuted I decided not to tan and asked politely for my money back. The receptionist seemed flustered and I politely said keep the money I won’t coming back here again.
To the owners of this place; I wish you the best of luck I would like to suggest you clean your store and replace your aging equipment.

Customer Service… Customer Service… CUSTOMERS SERVICE! Caprice and Delores get the gold medal for taking care of bare tans most valuable asset, the customers! Great vibe the moment you walk in, greeted with smiles and high fives :). Caprice kept the place open passed closing time just to make sure my beautiful wife and I got our tans for 4^th of July. When I make an appointment these days, it’s the same ol routine of me walking in and… waiting! I’m happy to report that bare tans MVP Caprice, and her silent sidekick Delores, have disrupted that routine and made the experience perfect! Oh and my tan looks fucking phenomenal happy 4^th of July!

I think the irony of beautiful Newport Beach/​Corona del Mar is how many tanning places there were and yet there are so few now. If you want a quick tan for a golden glow Bare Tan is perfect. The beach is 2^nd option. Seems a bit backwards, huh? I was really pleased to stop in this week and the lovely girl behind counter was so sweet and helpful as I had not done the Versa Spa. The room was pretty small but I liked my results although I wish it had been bit darker. I still have a nice look and it has been a few days. I am not noticing that ugly spotty look you get when Mystic starts to wear off. I was offered a 2 for 1 price and look forward to coming back. The location is just before Five Crowns and parking can be a challenge. Call for pricing since all tanning place prices have jumped during my search.

This is a good spot for two reasons: it is open late and you can usually walk in. I always do the versa spa I get clear #2 level and that keeps the solution from getting on clothes. The clear option is really what sold me. What I wish is that they had two things 1. better towels and 2. airbrush tan. Bar Tan in Irvine does a great job w/​airbrush tan (I’ve tried lots of local places and they are by far the best one I’ve been to. I wonder why they don’t offer this in CDM. Either way its a good local spot to get a quick tan before an event. I can’t say anything about tanning beds as I only use the versa spa for spray tan.

Love the versa spa I get clear #2 level it takes 7 – 8 hours to fully set in. It’s easy and you get a great coverage! Staff is friendly and you can usually go in without an appointment. Good hours too.

It serves it’s purpose. It’s the only option in CdM for tanning… The beds are decent. THEY NEED NEW TOWELS. The prices could be better. The beds work though.

I visit both the Irvine and Corona Del Mar location and, while the Irvine location is larger, the CdM salon is just as excellent. The kind staff always answer any of my questions and often take time to ask me how I am doing. Most of the time I use the Matrix tanning bed when at the CdM salon and within a few hours always have a natural, sexy tan! Highly recommend Bare Tan for their awesome tanning beds, and products, along with friendly and professional staff.

I love Bare Tan! Its pretty expensive but its so worth it! The Beds are the best they come, They are Huge and so clean! and when Im laying down I can even kick my feet all the way to bearely hit the roof of the Bed! I also Love that they have satalite radio always on and hook up to your bed so with the push of a button you can switch to any station you feel like! Its Only Ten minutes but its the best part of my day! I feel like I am laying on the beach in Hawaii and its wonderfull!
The girls at the front are always nice and parking isnt really an issue even though its corona del mar there is always a 20 min spot in front which is all you need!
