Amazing! I was in shock to find this place as I neared the end of market street. The faire here is on par with serious middle eastern restaurants. Ie: Toronto. If you like middle eastern food, or love greek gyros. THISISTHEPLACE! Can’t wait to take my family here. Owner came out and brought me a falafel to try on the house and to inquire with customers on any menu ideas. I wish this place a long and prosperous stay in market street!

My Shawarma has a nice atmosphere, great location in Corning, and friendly staff. I got the steak shawarma and my wife got the chicken. Both were tasty but we’d had better. Meat was a little dry and even with the toppings it seemed a little overpriced for what you got. Also wished the tabouleh didn’t cost extra as a topping.

Beautiful springlike day and I took a walk downtown, ending up at My Shawarma! My first time there and I’ll be going back, probably again and again if the quality of food and service continues. Not horribly busy just after 11AM so the counterperson took lots of time explaining everything to me. For just over $ 8(that included tax), I got a Falafel Flatbread Wrap filled with three huge falafel balls, tabouleh, a pickled radish/carrot(&one other ingredient) mix, feta cheese, diced tomatoes, tahini sauce. Think Subway and similar food establishments – pick your basic wrap, rice bowl, or salad and ask them to add your choice of ingredients. Everything is laid out in front of you at the counter to make your choices easier. If you’re not a fan of falafels, there’s steak or chicken. The dining area is roomy but not crowded, stylish, and clean. Can’t wait till the weather is really nice so I can sit in their outdoor dining area. I took my order to go. Just finished eating two-thirds. It’s a huge meal, worth every penny.

So good!!! I tried the steak shawarma wrap with romaine, tomatoes, feta, black olives, red onion, pickled cukes, and both the green schug sauce and mango amba sauce. The meat was delicious and there was plenty of it. The other ingredients complimented the meat well although next time I will include the pickled radishes and carrots as I’ve heard they’re very good. In addition to my wrap, I got a side order of hummus which was served with wedges of flat bread. The hummus was excellent — clearly homemade because it was not over-processed like store bought hummus tends to be. All in all, a great lunch at very reasonable price, especially considering the quality of the food. One other notable — My Shawarma offers online ordering. You simply click on the«Order online for pickup» button on the home page of their website and you can create your perfect meal. Then you can pay for said meal right there. After that you just go pick it up! Easy and fast which is really helpful during lunchtime. Bottom line — great food, great prices!

Great edition to local options which lack Mid Eastern food. Very casual format, order at counter, wait for food, walk to open table, self service. Limited selection, but good quality and fast service. Perfect for quick lunch or take out. Milder flavors than many Greek, Pakistani, Indian, etc., altho we avoided several offered hot sauces… will go back soon !!

I’ve been to My Shawarma twice in the last two weeks and have a lot of good things to say about it. The restaurant is fast/casual style Mediterranean food, where you walk up to order and add all the toppings you want to your wrap/salad or rice bowl. The Food : Visit #1: Falafel Wrap with Sumac Hummus, Tabbouleh, Pickled Carrots and Radishes and House Pickled Cucumbers, Tahini. Side of Fries with the Schug. Three perfectly cooked Falafel balls wrapped in a generously sized wrap smeared with Humus, would have been good. But the combination of things I listed above reached another level. My trip to My Shawarma was AWESOME! You need to try the pickled options on the wrap with their sauces. The wrap ends up being an excellent mixture of flavors and textures. SOGOOD. Fries were a great side, and the Schug went great with them. Visit #2: Chicken Shawarma Wrap with Humus, Tabbouleh, Pickled Cabbage, Pickled Carrots and Radishes, House Pickled Cucumbers, Roasted Red Peppers, Olives with Harissa Garlic Sauce. OK, don’t judge me. I know I basically loaded the wrap with everything I could choose, but it was the RIGHT move. The chicken was moist, great tumeric flavor, and properly sized chunks for the wrap. Every bite was delicious. Again the mixture of textures and flavors went really well together. Food Overview: This restaurant is firing on all cylinders. From the falafel and chicken to all the fixens and sauces, it’s all good. You can tell they are putting care into each step of the process. Highly recommend. The Service: On both of my visits I arrived at noon along with a group of 4 – 5 and the restaurant was busy. We moved through the line quickly and were able to grab high top tables for our larger group. The staff were smiling and very helpful in explaining the options and spicyness levels of the menu items. The food was good either way, but it was even better because we were able to order and start eating it quickly. Nice work! In summary, stop reading this post and go try it for yourself. You won’t be sorry.

THEYAREOPEN. Great addition to Market St. Fast-casual style service. Very clean and new feel. I like the tables, tunes, and accents. Staff was very friendly. Simple menu with a nice array of toppings and sauces for your flatbread, rice bowl, or salad. Only options are steak and chicken(would be nice to see some others). All the sides looked good, but didn’t try any. They even have some sweets. Looking forward to hitting it up again over lunch. Fair price ~$ 10 for shawarma and a drink.
