This is a decent buffet to go to. The food isn’t the highest quality but it is definitely eatable. There are nice booths to sit in and it is a very large building so it can accommodate large buses and still has room for regular customers. Sometimes the wait staff aren’t the kindest but, overall, not too bad.

My son and I almost didn’t eat here due to the negative reviews. Fortunately, we checked it out to see for ourselves. I don’t understand the bad reviews as we found that the food is on par with most Chinese buffets. For my son, a vegan, he actually had more choices than normal and there were a few dishes like peanut encrusted chicken, which I hadn’t had before. If you are looking for a decent buffet at a reasonable price, I would recommend this restaurant.

To disclose, I am a Chinese and cook regularly at home. My review may be considered too harsh from a non-Chinese perspective. A short version of my review is that if you have to eat here(indeed, it’s within walking distance to a hotel in the middle of nowhere), try any dishes which are not cooked by the restaurant, including whole fruit, toast bread, boiled shell seafood, ice cream, etc. All cooked dishes tasted the same probably due to the use of common sauces: lots of sugar, soy sauce, and MSG. Two of us(a tour group of 17 family friends) tried boiled soy beans. Bad luck! The soy beans were half-done without any taste. Try freshly cooked noodles with hachibana style? Even worse! The non-Chinese cook apparently was trying to make the food less attractive so that nobody would bother him again. He put all things together and then added water over and over and finally he succeeded: the watery noodles with tasteless and colorless meat would stay in our plate during the dining time and we never bothered him again. After a couple of bites, our starving kids stopped touching their plates. What a waste of food! Shame on the owner! Chinese food can be better than this. This is not even cheap: $ 12.99 per adult. My final recommendation: any fast food chain would be a better choice.

Went to this buffet two weeks ago and am still disturbed on it. The food generally wasn’t bad. The décor was old, the carpets look and smell like they haven’t been cleaned in years. If you can get over the smell of the carpet you should be good. Could be a way to keep people to one plate. I will not return.

Without question or hesitation, this is absolutely the worst Chinese buffet I have ever been to. The same goes for my fiancée. We stopped here last week on our way to my old hometown and we were getting hungry(it was lunch time). So after one wrong turn thanks to inaccurate road signs(which is unfortunately how we found out about this place), we get to the location, which was very hard to actually get to because there was a lot of snow everywhere and that made it hard to find a route to get into the parking lot, which had also not been plowed. As we are about to enter, we see a family leaving, all with smiles on their faces. I assumed it was because they must have had a great meal, but in retrospect it must have been because they were leaving this horrible restaurant! So at the entrance door, I look down, and instead of having a mat for people to wipe their feet on, they are using a pizza box. I kid you not… that was our first clue that we should have run for it… however in our travels we’ve found that some of the places with the best food look the dumpiest on the outside, so our hopes were still high. We walk inside and what’s this? We have to pay as soon as we get in the door? Smart thinking… no matter how your experience is, they’ve already got your money. Only one other Chinese buffet that I’ve been to had me pay before eating… I hope it doesn’t become a trend. So I take one quick look around at the food, and things seem to look good. I see steam coming up from the food tables so I think that the food will be nice and hot… who was I kidding? The first thing I grabbed was bbq chicken on a stick(I think…) and I put my hand over it to feel the temperature and I get nothing… my fiancée walks by me at this point and i stick my finger right on it and tell her«it’s not warm at all… it’s room temperature». Stupid me, I ate it anyway, along with everything else I put on my plate… vegetable lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, honey chicken, general tso’s chicken(which tasted more like honey chicken than the honey chicken), not one thing that I put on my plate was even remotely warm. For my second plate(yes, I decided I hadn’t had enough punishment!) I decided to get a plate of their food from their mongolian wok area. Ok selection of vegetables, not a lot of meats though. I asked for the server to put on teriyaki sauce, and he did, but then he poured on so much water that it washed the entire flavor away and left everything a soggy mess… I didn’t think it was possible to mess up a mongolian grill meal but this place did it. I forgot to mention, I had downed my entire glass of pepsi before I had even finished my first plate. When I left the empty plate, the empty glass was very obvious too. I came back to find my plate gone and my empty glass still awaiting me. After eating half of my second plate(which was all I could stomach of the food), I finally was able to flag down one of the servers(of which there were five standing around talking, there were enough that each customer in the place could’ve had their own!) to finally get my refill. I gulped it fast to get the taste of the food out of my mouth and we got out of their as fast as we could after that. I would give this place negative stars if I could. Not only will my fiancée and I never be back, we advise anyone else thinking of coming here to avoid it like the plague that it is, as well! After eating here, it’s a wonder I never got sick(though my fiancée did). There are better buffets around, I am sure. We didn’t have a proper GPS with us or we would’ve waited until we found a better place to eat… You may have thought of this post as funny, but not one word of it was meant to be. It was meant to be a warning. How this place isn’t a rash on the restaurant inspection lists is beyond me. What my fiancée and I witnessed and experienced when we went would’ve completely shut down any other restaurant.

It’s okay. Went on Christmas eve when nothing else was open. Decent selection typical buffet fare. Ice cream was a plus. Staff was nice too.

Budget Chinese food buffet in very basic surroundings. It’s basically a spot to get your MSG fix on the cheap with no fuss. You can see the purple building(EDIT: Now it is beige) from the highway but to get to this restaurant you have to go through the auto part store parking lot which is not that intuitive.

This is very cheap for buffet(all you can eat). The Mongolian Barbeque is really good. I always tried this one instead from the buffet. Because this is just different from others. The place is nice even though it’s very crowded at lunch hour because sometimes tour buses coming for lunch there. It’s good. I really miss this place.

I’ve been hearing good things about this place for years and finally decided to try it one afternoon. I was surprised at how inexpensive it is(about $ 6 – 7 per person). The food was very good, even though I didn’t try the hibachi grill that day. Their sushi isn’t bad, considering this is a buffet. Some American foods were offered in addition to the Chinese fare. The servers were friendly and helpful. The only things I didn’t care too much for was the faded, old décor, and the stench coming from the raw meat in the hibachi area. I’d go again.
