I had a futon in college and it was a hand-​me-​down. It lasted a long time, and was surprisingly comfortable, given that, well, it didn’t look as though it would be.
Eventually the day came when I was furnishing my home and decided that I wanted to look into futons and futon covers. The Futon Store was first on my list, and when I went into the showroom, I was impressed with the large selection of patterned and solid futon covers neatly lining the walls. Nice, solid futon frames were on display, and it gave me the option to try them out, which was nice. You can purchase the mattresses in various materials — such as pocket coil and foam — and firmness to suit your needs. The futon frames come in a variety of materials, including hardwood, metal, and white frames. The store also carries a nice variety of children’s furniture, including bunk beds, futon bunk beds, and trundle beds.
The price, however, is something to plan for. While they may be regarded in the same light as a couch and love seat, higher-​quality futons can run in the hundreds.
The staff was helpful, I believe he was the owner, and he was willing to pleasantly answer any questions that we had.
