Milio’s Sandwiches

This is my go-​to sub place. The service is speedy and the subs are great. Their veggie sub is my favorite.

My daughters and I stopped here for supper on our way home. I ordered one sandwich for them to split which they immediately offered to cut in half without me having to ask. They went even farther and wrapped each sandwich half individually so each girl felt like they got their very own sandwich. It was great!

It looks like an ordinary sandwich. It’s not.
I came into this shop, needing a quick meal at night. I was very surprised at what I saw. It had an friendly atmosphere, and was very relaxing.
This restaurant serves sandwiches, soup, and chips. I ordered a Milio Classic. It had Turkey, Ham, Mustard, Mayo, Lettuce, and Tomato. The staff was very accommodating to my needs, and followed them accordingly. They were very friendly, and we struck up an conversation. The place must have went through a staff change, my experience was very different then from the reviews.
Overall, I recommend this place if you want quality sandwiches.

They get one star because I’m forced to give them a rating. The food isn’t awful but yet can never ever ever get the simplest order correct! For the love of god how hard is it to put yellow mustard on a sandwhich! They can’t figure it out… This time they put some nasty sweet tasting crap on it… I don’t get it, I was the only customer in the store & said flat out yellow mustard!!! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist. I’m so done! Management get in there & do something about your crappy staff!

I’ve been eating at Milios since it was Big Mikes, but I’m done. This place is ok, even tasty, if you go in in person and exercise maniacal control over what goes on your sandwich, but I am continually amazed with Milios’ ability to f*ck up online orders. You’d think that having the order written right in front of you would make the order-​fulfillment process easier, right? Apparently not.
Case in point: What’s a «skinny» sandwich? If you look at their print menu, it’s «no veggies/​sauces.» If you go through their online order form, though, it is apparently just «no veggies» — meaning that they will put the normal, aka excessive, amount of mayo on it. And the customer «service» response to calling them back about this, on a delivery order, is to (a) act clueless, (b) have a supervisor deny that a mistake was made and claim that you’ll have to pay again, then © demand the offending sandwiches *back* once they do admit that a mistake was made (seriously, what are you doing with them? Building a monument to your own incompetence in the break room?).
This isn’t an isolated incident I’m describing — over the years, I’ve also gotten turkey-​mayo sandwiches after ordering ham-​cheese-​no-​mayo sandwiches, and all kinds of less-​important errors like the kind of bread. I sort of expect that sandwich shops are a laid-​back place to work and that mistakes will be made, but when the mistakes are constantly denied and then grudgingly fixed, you lose my business.
