Eddie Bauer is one of my favorite shops for outdoor wear and accessories. I usually shop through them online, but if I’m running errands or have a few minutes to spare, I like popping into this location at the Coral Ridge Mall. There’s always a clearance section in the back with occasional great prices. The staff here are always over-the-top nice and they’re exceptionally excited about Eddie Bauer gear — I still can’t decide if they’re working on commission or if they’re just that friendly.
I especially love Eddie Bauer’s lifetime warranty on things like winter jackets — I have one of their winter storm downs that I really put to the test as I spend a LOT of time outside in the winter. With such a large-ticket item and with something as delicate as a down jacket, it’s nice to know that I can get a replacement as the down becomes less effective or depleted.
