A hidden gem in Coral Springs. Short history. This park was renamed in the ‘90s according to a story that circulates online. There were 3 men who crashed in a small plane accident. Their 3 wives(obviously became widows) who lived in the housing surrrounding the hill wanted to rename this little natural area to commemorate their friendship. The city allowed it. The park has a hill that is one of the highest natural points in Coral Springs. On top of the hill are three benches facing each other. From this point you can see all the housing in the surrounding Westchester area. I love biking up the path around 5 pm and sitting at the top to watch the sunset. Sometimes I’ll climb one of the giant ficus trees. The best part is coming down the hill on a bicycle! It’s a bit unsafe, but you can try rolling down the hills too… There is no parking lot. You’ll have to park your car alongside the street of the neighborhood.
