This is my favorite place to run in Coral Springs. They have a gravel path that is almost a mile long. Since it is gravel it is easier on the knees and joints. There are markers along the path every tenth of a mile. The park is a total of 8 acres and it’s 1 of the most scenic little park in coral springs. It is peppered with Cypress trees. In the front of the park they have a couple of nice exercise areas as well as bathrooms and a water fountain. This park, like all Coral Springs parks, is impeccably maintained by city staff. They posted hours are 8 a.m. Until 10 p.m. and they do have lights in the park. I have run here at night and feel very safe but of course always exercise caution and pay attention to your surroundings. The parking lot holds about 20 cars. Unfortunately, this park is susceptible to vehicle burglaries, like all parks where women tend to leave their purses in plain view. Now get out there and start running. Be sure to say hello if you see me, I will be the one wearing bright colors and desperately trying to catch up to the elderly speed walkers!
