Adam’s Subs

Soooooo I have been to this location 2 times now, but different businesses. This used to be the former Between the Sweets and although I had a Groupon for it still Adams was kind enough to continue to honor all previous Groupon so this might even be the same owners just different franchise. Still cool of them so I cancelled my refund request and took a trip yesterday.
I get there and there hours of operation are not correct new hours of operation 11am to 3pm… that is correct they used to be till 9pm and now they open for 4 hours a day MON-​FRI only. U might ask or think what are there hours in Sat and Sunday. Gotta be normal right? Wrong. They are closed on Sat and Sun completely.
So I went back today. Took another look at the menu and walked in. Great staff. Waitress greets us at counter tells us to grab a cup and sit anywhere. Quick service only 1 of 2 people in restaurant but I don’t care… let’s EAT
I ordered the grilled cheese with bacon which comes on Texas Toast. This was made well, but thats it well. Good taste and not burnt. I also ordered the special TOASTED garlic meatball sub. I had high hoped on this because I love garlic. The meatballs were cooked perfect but had absolutely no taste or seasoning, and the garlic mayonnaise was pretty tasty also but again that’s it. Now did you notice I capitalized the word toasted? Yea nothing was. The bread was a soft fresh hoagie roll no crunchy toastiness, so maybe it meant toasted garlic (yea I’m reaching) no real taste of roasted garlic either.
In all its a great idea with the catering and take out dishes that are delivered to houses cold for you to heat up at home, but the menu is huge
Salads, Rice Bowls, Sandwiches and even Meatloaf, but if you ate going to be open for 4 hours in a day or a little longer which some people do (First Watch or Plantation Diner) yiu have to make those 4 hours amazing. Not there and I just don’t see this place making it when they have no weekend hours, 2 of the 4 locations have closed (I think), and they only want to serve the lunch crowd.
I have 1 more Groupon, but will have to get a refund or give to a friend.
And you guys who know me might be asking… Coke products no Mtn Dew.

We always order delivery. Everything is always right and arrives timely. I like the «free» add ons for ordering online (yummy cookies! !). I do have mixed feelings about the food. Some things have been great, others just okay and wouldn’t order them again. Was not a fan of most of the specialty grilled cheeses (except the fig one, which i loved). My husband loves all the subs, especially chicken salad.

Love this place! Came with the family for Sunday brunch and the service was amazing. The supervisor Brisa was so nice and helpful in helping each family member figure out what they wanted. The food is great, so many options I wanted to chose more than one! I got the BBQ Ranch Burger, green apple strawberry smoothie and we shared the apple moonshine bbq wings for the appetizers (delicious). Love the set up, sat outside on the patio it was so nice and peaceful. Great pricing too, definitely a place for everyone to checkout! They were previously Between the Sweets but they changed the name apparently that’s why a lot of people are getting confused.

Food AMAZING! organization is poor.
The staff is friendly and gave us a taste of the Chicken and Tuna Salad — both Delish! however the order didn’t come out together (we were a group of 4 plus a toddler), sides of fries and salad –Never made it out. They tried to make it up by offering a «free» dessert — that Never made it out. So after a hour and 45 minutes, we asked for the chech.
The server kept apologizing, saying that their other store was closed so they were handling those orders.

I wish I could give a review of the food but since the waitress never came over to our table to take our order, I can’t. So this place is the same establishment of the now defunct «Between the Sweets», and for much of the same reasons BTS went bankrupt, I predict Adam’s Subs will succumb to the same fate shortly. The drill is to walk in, grab a cup and fill your drink at the fountain, then take a seat and someone «should» be there soon to take your order. Well after 8 – 10 min I couldn’t wait any longer for the three girls behind the counter to finish their conversation, so we just walked out. I’ve learned in the past that being ignored initially leads to a bad meal and wasted money.
So now they’re gonna try subs although the menu has like a hundred items on it… yeah I’m sure that’ll work. I think that spot is cursed bc I’ve seen Panda Express, Smashburger, Between the Sweets, and very soon this place go under all within the last 5 years or so.
Beware of employees or friends of there’s opening Unilocal apps and posting 5 star reviews too, just saying.
