I am not fan of eggs but after going here I was very impressed and loved the egg Benedict and the egg Texas steaks. Just remember there is going to be a wait because this place is popular. Service was very good as well.

Big time fan. I actually went here two Sundays in a row. 1st time, chorizo omelet. It did have a lot of cheese on top(think Mexican restaurant) but once I scraped most of that off(for health) the taste was delicious. Following Sunday I got the whole wheat raspberry granola pancake. It came with raspberry yogurt that you can schmear on instead of syrup. I really enjoyed it. Crowded the later it gets in the morning, and very reasonable in price. Definitely will go back.

Excellent in every facet. Well run very organized, fair prices and food was very good. Lot’s of choices besides eggs. I had whole wheat cinnamon pancakes with apples along with 2 pieces of bacon and some eggs. $ 10 unlike some overrated franchise this one hits the mark!

When Egg and I opened about 3 years ago they were a train wreck. The food was designed to look pretty, but often it wasn’t very good. My go to breakfast is corned beef hash and eggs. I remember telling the Regional Manager that the hash has chunks of grizzle that you have to spit out. He seemed very concerned and said he would fix it. Fast forward three years and I had the same problem. The other issue I have with this place is the slow service and how the waitresses disappear in the back for 10 — 15 minutes at a time. I asked for butter for my grits and she brought it out 10 minutes later when I was getting up to leave. The only explanation I can see is they have their waitresses doing prep work during their shift. The grits were extra while every other [breakfast] restaurant includes potatoes or grits. I would not return to this restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem ! I’ve always drove by it but never actually saw appeal to it. Until my friend suggested it, oh my god the breakfast here is so good. It has so much flavor, I couldn’t believe it and our server Matthew was very nice and did his job serving us very well. I will definitely be going back more often.

The food here is really good. I’ve been here about a dozen times now and the food is always consistent. However the service is not always consistent unless you have John. He is the best server I’ve ever seen. But you won’t always get him so I feel at a loss otherwise. He should train the others. The coffee here is awesome. Love it

We like this cute breakfast eatery. It’s very French country southern. Good for breakfast or brunch. Sometimes there is a long wait, especially on the weekends.

I’ve been coming by a lot more often now ever since I’ve tried their red velvet pancakes. I was never a fan of pancakes but this one blew my mind. It’s filled with melty chocolate chips with cream cheese drizzle over the top alongside the warm syrup. Too bad the red velvet pancakes are limited time only so I have to keep coming back before the month of January ends. These pancakes are one of my favorites so far.

Wow!!!

I have been hesitant to go to the Egg & I because 1.) there is always a line and I anticipated waiting forever 2.) it looks really small from the outside so I was expecting it to be jammed with people elbow to elbow inside. Bonus Surprise… there is a line but the wait was short and efficient with announcing of names on speaker so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. Second bonus… its super spacious on the inside and very large so you can hear your own conversation at your table… despite a lot of people. I really enjoyed having brunch here. It’s fantastic to have a ‘new favorite place’! My kids had breakfast off of the kids menu which is reasonably priced and large portions. I tried the lunch combination which was great because you have the option to choose gourmet salad + ½ sandwich, soup + ½ sandwich or salad + soup for under $ 10. I had the cobb salad with avocado dressing and turkey reuben. Accidentally brought me the regular reuben not turkey, but I ate it any way without saying anything. Reuben was lukewarm… but was very tasty. The salad was unbelievably good. I am a big time salad eater and I am coming back to try all of them because it was something that you never want to stop eating. I like that they have awesome hot sauce as a condiment. All items on the menu were something that I would eat. The service was fast and friendly… and our server was super efficient and spot on… we did not have to ask for anything unlike like a lot of places that have spaced out wait staff…‘oh you want utensils?” I’m coming back often as I can. Awesome!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day… so why not eat at a place that specializes in BREAKFAST! Since I did come here on a Saturday it was a bit busy but we only had a wait time of about 20 minutes or so. I thought it was really nice to have free coffee in the waiting area while you wait for your name to be called. After checking out Unilocal for photos to see what food item looked most inviting, i decided to go with the Avocado and Eggs Benedict special. My husband got the Texas Skillet with some extra bacon! ;) Our food arrived hot and we didn’t wait too long for it. We were hungry! I loved my order it was made VERY well. My only fault was that there was a bit too much hollandaise sauce and the potato seemed to be a small in portion. However the potato was very goood!(maybe that’s why i wanted more) Our waiter was nice but he only came to take our order and then we waitied a while to get the check. No biggie because i understand it was pretty busy. Oh and i ordered the Key West Cooler and it was very refreshing. Sweet but not too sweet! I can’t wait to return. Plus i saw this table next to us order these huge pancakes that looked soo yummy: P

A nice locally owned place specializing in eggs. Outdoor seating is available within a gated area. During busy times it can be 15 minute wait. Don’t be surprised when you see available seating despite having waited. Our server mentioned management limits service as not to overwhelm the wait staff or the kitchen. When their busy you don’t feel rushed to eat and leave. Will return.

I’ve been to this location three times now and the food is really good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available which is nice and the staff is always pleasant and attentive. The peppermint hot cocoa is a must have every time.

The«Egg and I» is an excellent new breakfast spot here in Coral Springs. With an expansive menu, great food, and excellent service you’ll really enjoy this place. One thing… There is frequently a line to get a table and you may have to wait a few minutes to get seated. I came to the«Egg and I» late on a Saturday morning looking for a casual brunch. I’ll apologize in advance for not taking pictures, by the time I thought of it, my plate was already half gone. Seeing 10 – 20 people outside, I knew there would be a wait but this is typically a good sign so we decided to put our name in and wait. After being told 20 min. I got some of the free coffee they offer guests awaiting tables and was happy to hear our name called after only 5 min. After being seated, our drink orders were placed quickly, and I looked over the expansive menu. Being a Eggs Benedict lover I had to try the«Parisian Benedict», a variation of the classic dish made with a croissants instead of English Muffins and a few other twists like sautéed mushroom and Swiss cheese. I have to say… it was absolutely fantastic! Wow! My g/f had the«Viva la France» French Toast, which was considerably less amazing. It wasn’t bad but it was pretty much your standard fare, nothing special. For me, I don’t like standard French toast(bread slices briefly dipped in egg and pan fried) because I’ve had amazing French toast(see my review for Sage) and much like great sex, it’s hard to go back to ordinary once you’ve had amazing. :-) Overall the food was very good, the service was excellent(even the manager brought syrup when we asked for it), the décor is quite pleasant, and the entire place was very clean. I’m really happy to find a new breakfast place here in CS and I’ll definitely be back. A well deserved 4 Stars!

If you guys haven’t noticed by my check in, I love breakfast. So when I found a place called the Egg and I, on Unilocal you know I was turnt(Really excited) to max. Sunday morning I woke up starving. I usually make breakfast at home on Sunday’s, but this Saturday I realized I had no eggs. The next best option was to go out for breakfast and to try that new place I had bookmarked a few weeks ago. We arrived around 11ish and the place was really busy. There were people waiting outside and the lobby waiting area was packed. I assumed the wait was going to be 45 minutes or more, so I was already looking for plan b. The hostess said it would only be a 15 min to 20 wait. She made my day because I was starving. I really liked the open layout of this place it was full but you never felt like it was. The staff was really nice and knowledgeable. They gave you details about each dish I asked about and I was really impressed with our waitress. Now to the food. I had a hard time picking what to eat. I wanted to try at least 3 breakfast items on the menu. I ended up ordering the Texas skillet with my eggs cooked over medium. It was cooked perfectly! My eggs were not too runny or dry. I also asked for the potatoes to be a little crispy and it was made just how I wanted them to be cooked. That’s a 5 star dinner in my eyes! I will definitely be ba

I like the ambiance, the people are nice, very clean. I had a hot chocolate. French toast with eggs, bacon and sausage. Food taste fresh. It’s not greasy. You can sit inside or outside. Fair price.

This place was amazing. We came in on a Saturday morning around 10ish and were seated immediately. The restaurant had cute signs and decorations. The hosts were dressed kind of fancy considering they were working in a breakfast diner, but I really liked it. I liked the different atmosphere that this restaurant had. I felt like I was in a fancier breakfast place(like Turning Point, but most people down in Florida have never heard of Turning Point)… Not just in an average diner. The cinnamon roll French toast was AMAZING. It was super sweet and had cinnamon butter and cream cheese icing. It was awesome. The Texas skillet was also pretty good. The steak in it was yummy. The coffee was also very good. The service was also great. I had asked for my skillet to be made without one ingredient, and they made it the wrong way. I kept my eggs and English muffin while my server took the skillet that the cooks had messed up on and brought it back to the kitchen to be remade. Despite the fact that I had already eaten my eggs and toast, the cooks made me a brand new breakfast with new eggs and toast. Greatly appreciated. 5 stars.

So this place is happening on a Sunday morning that’s for sure. Waited 25 mibutes, didn’t take advantage of the coffee and water bar set up outside for people waiting. Ordered hazelnut iced coffee, very good. They bring you the coffee in ice and let you add the cream and sugar. For food I ordered something similar to Juevos Rancheros, eggs, beans, salsa, sour cream, guac, spicey chorizo which I barely found any of unfortunately. My side of French Toast got cold, didn’t bring syrup with it. Tried waiting for my waitress, ended up flagging someone else down. Pretty standard french toast, but they do have a bunch of other options that sounded good. I love breakfast, and they have a lot of meals I want to try. Since its not to far from home and options are slim I’ll be back. Maybe not a Sunday though.

YAY! I’m a fan. If you’ve read my other reviews, or if you’re simply from Coral Springs, you know that there is a huge shortage of things to do and one thing that most people from Coral Springs cannot do is BRUNCH. But now, here we are. Introducing, brunch at it’s absolutely finest in the local area of CS, the Egg and I. The service was awesome. We had a very nice, younger waitress who was personable and polite and quick. We got eggs… lol…a lot of eggs benedict type items with twists on them, and I was not disappointed. The presentation of the food is good and the food itself is better. Also, TRY that mocha iced coffee thing(sorry, I don’t remember the exact name, I just saw it on one of those pictures and said, «I WANTTHAT.») It is delicious. And you get one free refill of it, not that I even needed it. They also have regular coffee, obviously, pancakes, toast, fruit, etc, the regular breakfast items you’d expect. The environment is cute, kind of cozy. I’m not going to lie, when you first walk in, it definitely feels like a place for an «older crowd,» if you will, but if you are younger, do not let it discourage you. It’s a great breakfast spot. Not super fancy, modern or sleek, but the main staple is the food. The only other possible downside is how little it is open. If I’m not mistaken, I believe they are open for early-late breakfast only and not lunch, but I’m not sure if that has changed. I thoroughly enjoyed it and enjoyed my experience here. It’s a flourishing new restaurant.

Nice breakfast restaurant in the Coral Springs area. I loved the Greek Omelet I had, which I was able to request made with egg white. The Hazlenut coffee was really good, and service was fast and friendly. The only reason I am not giving this place 4 stars, is because there were flies(we were seated inside) and it was very distracting shooshing them and keepig them from our meals. I would come back tough.

Went here around 11am, place was busy but we wanted to try it. Took about 30 minutes to get seated. The restaurant is a chain, something to factor in when coming. Drinks came with a carafe which is nice, basically gives you a refill. I ordered the Cambridge skillet, diced ham, crisp bacon and hollandaise sauce on a bed of ranch potatoes with jack and cheddar cheeses and two over medium eggs. Oh and I had it topped with sausage gravy. Also comes with an English muffin. The girlfriend ordered the Viva la France French toast, comes with 2 eggs as well. Food took about 20 minutes to come out and potatoes were a little undercooked but an overall decent experience.
