My friends and I stopped in here for lunch on our way to the Keys and we were blown away. The cashier/waitress was extremely knowledgeable on their menu and had some great recommendations — she wasn’t hard on they eyes either ;). Although known for their Cubans, we were told to order the Rueben since they had fresh pastrami. I split a Cuban and a Rueben with a pal. They were both excellent, well-made sandwiches that I would recommend to anyone. The Rueben was made with fresh pastrami and delicious kraut. The bread really made the sandwich. Although very different, the Cuban was equally as tasty and fresh. Check this place out. It may seem like a shady part of town but parking near it was easy and made for a speedy getaway.

I wish I could give this place a raving review, I’m sure the food is great. However I’ve never had the pleasure of trying it because every time I’ve attempted to go for lunch, they’re closed. I’ve tried weekdays, weekends, late afternoons, early afternoons, all to no avail. I understand the place is somewhat new, and things come up causing business owners to close temporarily. But I’m clearly not the only person having this experience, and soon enough the negative publicity will affect the business in the same way. Please be more consistent with your *actual hours, Little Bread!

The food is great but unfortunately, every time I pass by this location it is CLOSED! It’s rather frustrating because they don’t post anything on their social media, no signs, no voicemail message to indicate their status. And all the while people are actually planning to have their lunch there, so annoying, I’m probably not going to be coming to this location again because of the major inconvenience of having a restaurant closed for over 4 days and not even the curtesy to tell customers!!!

The service wasn’t the best. The cashier seemed to be very agitated and it was evident in the way she treated her customers. Instead of helping us in maybe suggesting something they DID have available she left us nothing but frustrated and upset. Needless to say we decided to go elsewhere nearby. I really do have hope for this restaurant, although it definitely could use a little bit of help. I’m giving it three stars considering its new and they’re probably getting the gist of it all. Not to mention the positive reviews and the amazing pictures on here. It all looks so delicious!

Cuban sandwich: pork rilette, black forrest ham, salami, Swiss cheese, lb pickles, and mustard caviar. DeLICIOUS. Brother got the Elena Ruz sandwich, also fantastic. I was cranky the first time I tried to eat here. My original review: «Got here on a Friday at 5:30 and it was closed. Make sure your hours are listed correctly everywhere online.»

Loved it! Came by on a Sunday afternoon, Food was excellent and service was impeccable. Like the new concept better than the Bread + Butter due to the faster service. Had the Elena Ruz and media noche croquetas. Will definitely come back to try something different.

I loved pan & mantequilla which was here before. So i had to come try little bread, as soon as i walked in i loved the ambiance very similar to what was there before. Except they don’t necessarily serve you, you go up and order and then they’ll bring over the food; so its a bit less formal. Staff was so nice and friendly. i went fairly early so i was seeking breakfast food and they don’t really have much. that was my down fall. especially since Pan & Mantequilla had amazing breakfast options. I went ahead and ordered the croquettas and my son wanted the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Both were spectacular. The round croquettas with the honey mustard sauce amazing! What can i say the flavors, texture was to die for. My son took a bite and was like«whoa mommy this is so good». I love places like this it take you away from eating«bad» food and teaches us to eat different flavors, textures etc. And i say«us» as in adults and children. My son will ask for a chicken sandwich from little bread not mc.donalds. To say the least the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with cheese dipped in honey mustard sauce is a must try! I look forward to going back and trying some more dishes off that incredible menu!

Every time we try to eat here, they are never open. Even when their hours say they should be. Just an example, rode by at 5:30 and the chairs were already put up on tables and they were closed. Supposed to be open until 6. The owner should know about this. We have tried four times to eat here. There is no sign on the door. The food may be good. We may never know.

Pretty similar to the old place that was here. Food is a bit pricey, but I guess they do several miami dishes with a twist.

Great Food, greats service, tripleta media noche is a must have. Lunch truck bowls are awesome for a quick lunch. And fireman Dereks pies are always a home run.

Tried the new redesigned restaurant for lunch and had high expectations. Liked the fast casual concept. The staff was friendly but clearly the overall service needs work. They forgot to bring some items, and brought others we hadn’t ordered. Food was good but not exceptional. Will give it another try and hope they’ve worked through the kinks by then.

I was a fan of this restaurant when it was Bread&Butter and I continue to be a fan with this new concept. The food was absolutely delicious. Like wow good. This is delicious comfort food that will remind you of your grandmothers cooking but with a twist. The restaurant looks more spacious and the wide open concept works so much better for this space. Server was friendly and attentive. I could not recommend this place more. Try it for yourself.

They might still be working out a couple of kinks service-wise, but the food is on point! The prices are also fair, considering the area, and I like the approachable, casual ambience. The setup is a bit confusing when you first walk in, but you order at the counter in the back and take your number to the table. Water station is to the left of the registers, and they have some local beer selections too. We ordered the bacon-wrapped maduros to start — wow. The combination of sweet & salty, crispy & gooey, was a party in my mouth. I ordered the lunch truck bowl(your choice of protein, grain, side & sauce) with turkey picadillo, fried brown rice, yuca fries & salsa criolla. Great seasoning, generous portion and came out fast. They brought my friend a different side than she ordered because they had run out, but I feel they should have asked what alternative she wanted. The cashier was confused with the coffee order(espresso vs cortadito vs colada) but the chef quickly stepped in and made my order right and delicious. Everyone was very friendly from start to finish!

Although the food was fairly priced it was all just so bland. I had a truck bowl. White rice and beans with chicken. The rice had absolutely no salt. The chicken although they said it was rotisserie and it was boneless had bones and def tastes like nothing and the beans were also bland. I felt as we were rushed out. I had literally put down the fork and they were asking if they could take it away. Idk if I’d go back

Little Bread in Little Havana has been one of our favorite spots for ages, so when we heard Chef Alberto Cabrera was opening up a new spot closer to home, we were absolutely thrilled! LBCG offers about half of their Little Havana sandwiches with the other half being new offers. I’ve had the Pan con Bistec and Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwiches and both are absolutely delicious. From the snack menu, the smoked wings and bacon wrapped platanitos are must haves. For dessert, they always offer a variety of Fireman Derek’s amazing pies and now serve Azucar ice cream as well. We haven’t gotten around to trying the lunch truck bowls yet, but are looking forward to it. Albert is still working out the kinks with a whole new team at this location, but they clearly keep service and excellence a priority and are doing great for a fresh start. This is a Sunday regular for us, and we’re looking forward to many more visits now that it’s a short drive away!(:

The Elena Ruz is epic !!! It’s definitely the type of rejuvenation that Cuban food needed in Coral Gables. The Little Bread concept is much more approachable than Bread + Butter. I also like the fact that they carry items from Azucar and Fireman Derrick.

I know they JUST reopened as little bread… but… I ordered the tripleta sandwich which comes with churrasco… my sandwich came out with no churasco… how do u forget to add a big piece of steak to a sandwich!!! We’re not talking about lettuce here. The wait was so long though I ate it as is. Once a restaurant decides to open all is fair. I understand that there are kinks that need to be worked out when a place opens but little bread was all over the place… 1 hour wait for lunch. We had food being brought out to us that wasn’t ours(happened like 3 times). It’s as if they had completely new front & back of the house staff and new systems in place bc they were just wayyyyy off their game. The sandwich I ate was tasty though, no complaints there. Wish it would have had the churasco in it though. Feedback about the food from others at my table were all positive.
