I have to say I love Peruvian food and always in search of a new place. When I want to eat ceviche I want great flavor on great fish. So I have visited both locations and have been disappointed. I have learned to ask what type of fish is used w the ceviche because I was surprised to learn that many places use inferior fish. They are using tilapia or even worse swai. Divino is using swai. I asked if they can make it with another type of fish and I would pay the difference, like Corvina or mahi, but that was not an option. So I simply ordered a pollo saltado. I think an authentic Peruvian place should offer real fish. Not Asian farmed, contaminate filled cheap fish that is unregulated! Read more on the health concerns when eating these fish. I am a registered nutritionist/dietitian, and maybe just more sensitive when it comes to food. I believe everything in moderation unless it’s toxic/biohazardous. You might just come out of this restaurant with an unnatural glow

Great brunch deal! Unlimited ceviche and unlimited mimosas de maracuya for just $ 20 dollars! 10 different ceviche options for you to sample. Portion sizes are good but that doesn’t matter since its unlimited ceviche! Service was excellent. It does get crowded so a reservation is probably the way to go. I will definitely be back to enjoy their brunch again.

Came here for dinner for 2 on a Friday night. This place wasn’t at all busy when we arrived at 7, but got progressively busier as the evening went on. Service was good throughout the meal, but almost too attentive at times to the point of becoming an annoyance with the constant interruptions from the wait staff. For a starter I had the traditional ceviche which was excellent. For the entrée I had the Lomo Saltado, which was really tasty! I also had a beer. My dining companion got ceviche selections as his appetizer and main course. In the end we split the bill evenly and it came to $ 33.46 each before gratuity.

Just had an amazing brunch at Divino. I consider myself a regular at the Doral location and I was lucky enough to receive an invitation to try their brunch at the Coral Gables location(thank you Frank!). Anyway, I loved it! As usual, as soon as we sat down, we were greeted with complementary sweet potato chips, canchas and 2 dipping sauces. The brunch menu offers a variety of new dishes, including the amazing $ 19.99 all you-can-eat ceviche and bottomless maracuya mimosas(yes, you read that right!). I’m a ceviche lover, so I immediately opted for this and initially ignored the other menu options. Basically, you are given a card containing 9(if i remember correctly) different types of ceviches and you get to choose 3 at a time. Besides just being able to try the chef’s different takes on this Peruvian dish, you are able to enjoy as much of it as you want. I also appreciated that they kept the mimosas coming, I never had to ask them to refill my glass. We also had the chance to try the lomo saltado with crispy potatoes and 2 fried eggs on top. This was perfect«Peruvian brunch» dish, as always the lomo was tender and flavorful and the fried egg just added the perfect touch. Let’s just say I left the restaurant a very happy girl. Service was wonderful as always. Thank you Michelle and Frank for your hospitality. I’ll will see you again very soon.

Loved this place! Having lived in Peru I know good Peruvian food. I tried all the ceviches and ordered some for seconds. Tried the causa and the pulpo al olivo too. Kids had chicharron de pollo and even that was great! Best part is that Craft Beers are $ 3 during happy hour! Highly recommended and rightly priced! Will definitely return!

If you are around the Miami area, it’s a must to come and try this place. The Peruvian food will take you directly to Peru if you a Peruvian if not, you’ll want to know more ;) the food is excellent. Try de ceviche or lomo saltaldo. You’ll enjoy every bite so much that you’ll cry once the last bite is done. I promise. The service is good and the people are very friendly– typical of Peruvians. Good atmosphere. Don’t forget to ask for the purple corn beverage or chicha.

Excelent great food. We order ceviches, mini jalea and amazonic chaufa. Loved all of them. «Aji creams» were perfect too. I have a new peruvian favorite now in town.

On Valentine’s Day, we had a decent layover in Miami and decided to try Divino for lunch. So delicious! Our server was inviting, kind, and helpful with suggestions. We started with the«pulpo en salsa anticuchera.» Octopus is not a typical dish for me, but I have no regrets. The texture was perfect. Mixed ceviche tradicional was spicy and tangy — she even brought out extra spice for us. My husband was a fan of the chaufa. It’s similar to American-Chinese take out rice, but with more flavor. Lastly, we ordered a special lobster served with quinoa. I don’t know what was in the quinoa, but it was very, very, tasty.

Great place Atmosphere, Service, Food: all 5 star Decent value, worth what we paid. Peruvian draft beer selections, who woulda thunk it! Great selection of fish and seafood, seems like authentic Peruvian Fare. We don’t eat seafood, only fish, and no chicken or pork. On the servers recommendation we had: Ceviche trio of aji amarillo(Peruvian yellow pepper), aji limo(traditional lime and Peruvian pepper) and divinity(aji limo + heavy cream with mango and avocado). Excellent. Spouse had pescado a la chorillana, fried with a simple onion-tomato-pepper sauté. Delicious. And started with yucca-cheese balls fried with a dipping sauce, tasty. Had two Peruvian beers on tap, Machete and a dark oat beer, both excellent. Served was super friendly and fun, we talked a lot! Highly recommended!

I love Peruvian food, and this little place in Coral Gables hits the spot with a great food, large portions and cool décor. Here’s what I love here: Starters– Of course ceviche. But more specifically– trio de tiraditos — large enough to to share for a party of 3 – 4, I love the different sauces(leche de Tigre). The sampler– fantastic for non-fish eaters Main– Lomo saltado– in any iteration, the Tacu Tacu although delicious– is huge and can definitely be shared. I also really like the lomo with tallarines verdes. Drinks — great beer selection and of course pisco sour. And they sometimes run a Unilocal coupon with free wine. I took off one star because of the parking situation. It’s just on street and the valet takes like half the spaces.

I choose this restaurant to celebrate my moms b day because of the good reviews found in Unilocal. I called at 11 to make a reservation at 2:00 pm. Someone picked up the phone and said«we are close but I ll take your phone number« I called again at 12:00 and re confirmed the reservation, we arrived 5 minutes to our reservation time and our table was not ready. The waitress was a disaster. My entrée came with the appetizers. Once the rest of the entrees were being serves there was an extra plate that no one ordered. She came by the table with the plate and insisted that someone did order that plate and proceeded to pull out her notebook. One of us felt so bad we actually kept the plate. She went to the ceviche bar and picked up the remaining dish. It was obvious that we had one more plate in the table. At that point we refused to get that plate and send it back. Pass that point the waitress disappeared and we were finished being served by the busboy. We asked for the dessert menu and I made it obvious that it was my moms b day. They would bring any dessert to sign happy b day to my mom(however the table next to us did) This was a terrible experience. The food was good but the service is horrific. With so many good Peruvian restaurants in town, I recommend you skip this one.

I would have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the service in the coral gables location. I’ve been to the one in doral but this one is just as good. During my visit, I was able to try the ceviche trio. which brings three diferent kinds of ceviche, one original, one with octopus sauce and another one with yellow sauce… all three were fresh and very tasty… plate size was good enough to share. For the main course we had the tacu tacu with seafood and it was amazing. Usually this dish can be quite heavy since is made with rice and beans but this one was just right and the seafood on top was a nice twist to the original recipe. Our waitress was nice and pleasant and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. Def a good spot when in need of some good peruvian fix!

I was expecting more. Although the service was good the food wasn’t. I had a Risotto a la guancayna(not sure if that’s how u write it) with Lomo Saltado. We had a few appetizer. It was a large group. And nothing really that would make me wanna visit there again. Try the yuca balls with cheese. They were good.

Peruvian cuisine should always get a five stars and this local spot in the gables is not an exception. I came here to try their new brunch menu with a group of bloggers and loved everything I had on the plate. The food is delicious and tasty. I just don’t have words to explain how delicious is Peruvian food. The staff is very helpful and have knowledge of the menu. I recommend coming here with a group of friends. The place is smart casual and is a great spot to grab dinner before hitting the bar next door. But definitely try their brunch menu, you will not be disappointed. And if you want a good drink, order the pisco sour. It can’t get more Peruvian than that.

Great service(Michelle) and super fresh ceviche makes this one of Coral Gables best spots for a delicious lunch. Malbec wine and home made deserts make it the perfect place to celebrate Rosh Hashanah with the family.

I came to Divino Ceviche after experiencing a delicious tasting with Unilocal and Coral Gables Restaurant Week. I had received a free ceviche card, so I brought that and a friend with me. Some advice: it was much easier to make a reservation in Spanish than in English. We arrived around 7, and it started to get more crowded around 8. There’s a Divino Ceviche app you can download and you will get a free Pisco Sour as a result. They gave us chips with two dipping sauces and chicle(Roasted Peruvian giant corn) to start and they were really flavorful. Great snacks! I ordered a quinoto con mariscos(quinoa and seafood) and my friend ordered a noodle dish with seafood. The arroz con mariscos has the same seasoning as the quinoa, but it’s nice to have a healthier option. The ceviche traditional had fish in it and was fantastic. All the seafood here is very fresh and reheated well the next day. I’ve lived in South America and this is the best ceviche I’ve ever had.

The staff was helpful understanding all the different types of ceviches, and the ambiance was really clean and friendly. Great spot in the gables and a sure win if you’re looking for good eats!

$ 20 all you can drink passionfruit mimosas and all you can eat ceviche until 4PM! An obvious great deal. They have a couple of tables outside and service was attentive. I recommend ordering the ceviche in sequence– just have the server go right down the list. They come 3 at a time. Tops were the Rocoto, Divino, and Aji Amarillo… And the olive one as a surprising and VERY close 4th. The divino much better than expected. Maracuya was too sweet and the Asian soy one was not worth the calories. I think quality is better at their crowded Doral location, but the deal is location exclusive.
