It’s not an upscale restaurant that’s for sure !!! I usually end up here with my co-workers, since there is one close to my work. I think the food is OK, nothing special, no great taste, just ok. I won’t touch the Picadillo(grnd Beef) it’s always swimming in a lake of oil, the baked chicken seems dry waiting under the molten lava blarring lamp, and there are no real spices to the food. I am from the caribbean and I am used to a lot of spices(and heat) in my food.

The absolute best Cuban restaurant in Miami! Casual laid back atmosphere with wonderful customer service! The food had rich delicious flavors and extremely affordable. Needless to mention, you they cater for large parties. If you are looking for some Latin flavor in Miami this is the place to go.

I work across the street at MBHC/Spectrum programs and this is literally one of our two dining options. Being new to Florida i didn’t have any preconceived notions about this joint. It’s cafeteria style which for me is a plus because if you have your own lunch they don’t mind if you sit there. The breakfast was decent, the fries tasted like they soaked in oil and were put back in when I ordered them. The lunch items are meh. However they sit in the hot trays for way too long. This reduces the sauce and makes it way too salty. The Cuban Sandwich was premade and tasted of way too much mayo and they didn’t even offer pickles. If you have to go their the oxtail stew is decent. I suggest going to a more authentic place on calle ocho.
