This Pollo Tropical is decent. It is definitely not the best from it’s quality and customer service, but also not the worst. Decent quality, decent food, decent service

Great Cuban food! Prepare yourself for very high noise level. Helps to know Spanish… but not required. Order numbers called out in Spanish,; but they take pity on gringos and then say it in English if no response. Takes a lot of time to get your food… but worth the wait. Mojo pork was great. Skip the trees leches, flan was good. Fast food atmos. Lots of locals. Constant flow of customers… good sign!

Pollo Tropical is a great place to get Latin food. You can make all different types plates for you’re enjoyment. I ended up making a plate of white rice, black beans, chicken and a piece of bread. Tasted just like a home cooked meal which satisfy my hunger. Place is well designed giving a real caribbean vibe to it, it’s pretty clean for the amount of business that flows in. Service was good wasn’t really much convo I ordered and got my food in couple of minutes overall I had a wonderful stay

Food: I had the chipotle chicken sandwich and ¼ chicken and it tasted dry. The sandwich and chicken wasn’t very tasty either. I like the selections of sauce they have. Service: Confusing. I placed an order and I didn’t understand what the cashier dude was asking me. Maybe I just can’t make out the southern accent. Also, when the lady called my number I thought my food was ready but it wasn’t. I stood there clueless like WTF? Thinking why she called my number when my order wasn’t even ready. Maybe she wanted to see how cute I was. I get that problem a lot. Atmosphere: I saw one drugged out crackhead with pants down low to his knees ordering food but walked out before he placed an order. So random. It entertains me.

Food is basically what you get anywhere else. With the exception of one thing. You dont get what you order. On my first recent trip i ordered a sode order of chicken for my salad and didnt get it. Was charged but didnt get it. This trip i ordered a full order of tostones. I expected a few to say the least. Paid $ 2.39 for two tostones. Yes 2. Dos. Not to mention the guy cooking the chicken was just tossing it around with no gloves on. Raw chicken and cooked chicken. Ill never come here again. I’ll gladly make the trip to the one 57th. This place is ridiculous.

There’s one solid thing about this Pollo Tropical: it’s the closest location to Miami International Airport. On the other hand, it falls short when it comes to service, cleanliness and being bilingual. I’ve been here when no one at the counter could take an order in English. There should be at least on person on staff who could assist, right? The parking here is also terrible and you can bet there will be trash on the floor and salsa caked on the tables. Getting someone to clean a table off is going to be a chore. Meanwhile, local residents love this place and I can relate to why. Likely the best fast food spot in South Florida, it’s the rare chain that doesn’t taste like greasy fast food. The chicken, Mojo pork and ribs are priced to sell and impress even those who despise fast food restaurants. If they could clean the place up from time to time ratings would fly, but I don’t think they care. This place is packed all the time and wait times are already long, but as cheap as food is here it’s no secret why. Learn to order in Spanish, or ask someone in line to help you, and you’ll be content with the flavor. This place defines better than average fast food.

Don’t expect great service here it’s too busy. Few people speak English but it’s ok we’re in Miami(Doral) where English isn’t necessary lol. I pretend to speak Spanish and point at what I want on the menu

Best fast food restaurant out there! The customer service here is really great! they fill all the containers to the brim, and make sure the customer is happy. They don’t try ripping you off and are very good at what they do. plus the food is great! five stars!

I don’t know if I’ve got the right Pollo Tropical, but I tried it once and it was quite the amazeballs. I really love how you can fill as many containers of sauces(especially the green one) as you want. It was my first time trying yuca, and I gotta wonder why it hasn’t been part of my diet all these years. I almost can’t believe it’s fast food because it tastes so authentic and homemade. at least to my Cuban-food-virgin tongue. We could definitely use a Pollo Tropical in New York.

I had gotten in late to MIA and was starving and this was the first place I saw that wasn’t McDonald’s, BK, etc… The food was great and the service was friendly. I got some kinda grilled chicken wrap with really good sauce and yuca side. I was so brain dead from my travel that I just asked the guy to suggest what to order and I wasn’t disappointed. Got my order to go and left for my hotel. The only draw-back(and I should have and usually do check) was that there were no napkins in the bag and it was too juicy to eat in the car without napkins so I had to wait a little longer to be able to eat. Other than that, it was awesome food and nice service.

I love this place!!! the chicken is super good and inexpensive. They have regular BBQ and guava BBQ I didn’t dare to try that but the regular BBQ is fantastic and the cilantro garlic sauce is the best thing I’ve ever had. I was in Miami for one week and I wish I would’ve tried this place more than two times. I can’t wait to go back!!! You wont be dissapointed, try the $ 4.99 lunch special if you’re on a budget and the yellow rice is great also.

I found this place on reccomendation by a Miami Native and surely wasn’t hard to find. Pollo Tropical touches on the area’s locals and offers a mixture of Spanish and West Indian food that isn’t too over thought or mixed in to give just enough of both for everyone to e happy. My thoughts… Pollo Tropical is one of those places that would only work in an environment like Miami as the«Coneys» are to Detriot and«Greys» to NY but amazing and worth trying.

For a fast food restaurant chain this place comes close to authentic Cuban and other regional Caribbean food. The popularity of this fast food fare is comparable to our well known IN-n-OUT burgers in Southern California. The prices is awesome, for less than 20US dollars, this joint will fill you up with combos and side dishes for two to three people. When you order there, you can buy individual items or do the combo, we preferred the later. You can mix and match your own combo, you pick a main dish and then pick two sides for less comes with refillable drinks. *We both ordered Cuban Wrap Sandwiches, this is a grilled press flatbread sandwich: slow roasted pulled pork, ham, swiss cheese and mustard mayo sauce. OUTSTANDING! *Our sides were some plantains and black beans, a healthy choice. The place was clean and well maintained, staff VERYFRIENDLY, and the food is cooked fresh when ordered. So if you are ever around in Miami and don’t know what to eat, stop by to one of their many local food chains. Won’ regret it!

Okay… this is like that latin infused chain that sells beans, rice, chicken and things of that nature. The line was long as all get out, that was the first sign that this food is on point,. THISFOODISSODAMNGOOD… WHOOOOOOLAWD! I didnt even know what to do. I dont even like fast like that. But, this place is sooooooooooo good. My friend ordered a chicken tropichop(Hilarious, I know) and I ordered ¼ chicken. It’s like chargrilled chicken and they make it so good and tender. They have this Curry Honey Mustard that is to die for. I could just eat that with the beans and rice and be happy. This place is a must visit if you are ever passing one on the road and get hungry. Don’t expect first class service. It’s still a chain. But the food is well worth the visit.

Hey, it’s not the fanciest place on earth… but not every eatery is. Pollo Tropical is great cluck for your buck. Fresh never frozen, hormone-free chicken, no microwaves and fast. Great for a cheap, on the go meal with a home cooked feel. I’m a fan of the Caribbean fajitas, which I always get extra tortilla’s with because seems like there is always extra chicken, onions and green peppers. I skip out on the rice and beans with fajita’s or use them to add to my fajita wrap… it’s great value and filling. Only wish they had more salads! I’d go for 4 stars but 75% of the time I’ve gone close to 10PM(most if not all close at 11PM) there isn’t CHICKEN?! WHAT??? I know I’m not the only one this has happened to… but I’ll forgive them because that CILANTROGARLICSAUCE is heaven!

I don’t even care how crappy and rude the service is. The food is BANGING. $ 3.20 for a chicken tropichop is right up my alley, throw some curry mustard on it and you are good to go for at least 2 meals. Add a key lime pie and you have yourself and entire meal. Their menu changed and now they have wraps and whatnot. The pork wrap is oh so fattening and oh so delicious. Throw some 1,000 calorie curry mustard and it is BANGING. I miss this place, wish they had one in boring RI. The only con, once I went with my family and one of my members ordered the ceasar salad with chicken. The lettuce was warm and nasty. I brought it back up and the server person put the lettuce back into the serving bin, it was extremely disgusting. I just looked at the server and walked away, words could not express my disgust. But I still recommend this place because it is awesome.
