If I could give more than 5 stars I would! After a terrible experience at Hawaiian nail up the road two weeks ago, I decided to try here again. Customer service was impeccable from the time we stepped in the door! Kitty did an amazing job on my nails! This is definitely my new spot!

I moved to Coppell from downtown a year ago and struggled to find a good nail salon. I am famous for my drop ins and this place is always busy. I was going here consistently and I needed to get my nails done for a 14 day vacation. This place was slammed so I went across the street and my nails didn’t last 4 days. I won’t go anywhere else now and if they’re busy, I’ll wait. I get powder gel nails and as of right now. my last manicure has lasted 3 weeks today.

Kim was awesome! Best salon experience in a long time!!! Read the reviews on all the local spots and found this gem!!! So thankful they could save my hands from the worst acrylics I had ever had! They look awesome and I enjoyed being there! Win/win

This is my spot and has been since around March of 2012, I’m convinced these mediocre/poor reviews are from people who caught them while switching over and adjusting. After searching for a nail salon for years I finally was recommended to H2O by a coworker. I have never been more satisfied with a manicure or pedicure. I go every two weeks to Lena and get a shellac manicure, and once a month I get a pedicure from one of the other staff members. I have yet to have a negative experience, and I have been in the salon when other customers have come in to get a single nail fixed for no charge, excellent customer service. Kim, the owner, remembers my face and asks how things are going with a smile every time I go. You have to get over the bright colors on the wall, I am not sure why they have it decorated the way they do but the service far exceeds the décor. I went to Lux up Macarther several times and they always messed my nails up while I sat in their beautiful salon, not worth the trade off. Also, Mondays and Tuesdays are 20% off, so you get a great deal. I don’t write a lot of reviews on Unilocal but was shocked when I saw the reviews for this place weren’t awesome — they deserve it, they do great work!

Went in March and learned that they have a new owner. Got a gel manicure, and the work was a little sloppy and didn’t last as long as with other salons.

Came in as a walk in with my mom around 5:30 — she hadn’t had a great day do I thought a little mother daughter bonding and ice cream was in order. The facility is clean, the staff friendly, but there are not any pricing packages for us to look at — do they offer callus removal, paraffin wax, etc? Apparently not — just the basic pedicure, which will do for this visit, but I would have liked to treat my mom to a little bit more of a nicer treatment and wasn’t able to. They do have a great selection of OPI colors and they do listen to what you want very well, and offered my mom and I both water. The massage chairs weren’t great… I ended up turning mine off because it hurt. I had an AMX gift card I wanted to pay with — and it took me 10 minutes of asking the woman who did my pedicure if they accepted AMX — and 5 minutes of her trying to run the card before she figured out they did not accept AMX. All in all it was a good experience — but I would love to see them expand their selection of offerings to a more involved or higher quality pedicure.

I am sad to have to post this update about my previous favorite nail salon. The past few times I have been here, I experienced a radically different standard of service than I had previously. This was extremely confusing to me until I eventually learned from a hair stylist friend that H20 nail is now under new management. I am sorry to report that new management seriously lacks understanding of appropriate customer service. Although a few original employees remain, most are new and they simply aren’t getting the job done. New management’s philosophy is apparently to rush through services as quickly as possible(What’s the point of that?! You get a pedicure to experience relaxation and pampering!). Other common annoyances included: technicians constantly getting up to answer the phone, go into the back room, etc. in the middle of your service. Very irritating. The technicians are so distracted they simply can’t do a good job. The technician who did my nails the final time got up for nearly ten minutes to talk on the phone then came back to doing my nails. As she geared up to paint my nails, I pointed out to her that she had not shaped them and could she please shape them for me. She replied that she had shaped them. Mind you, they looked awful and clearly had not been shaped. Rather than simply doing what the customer had asked and shaping them more,(Really who cares if you HAD already shaped them? You are working in the SERVICEINDUSTRY. Do what the customer asks!) she blatantly ignored my request and went on painting. I was completely amazed at this rude behavior. I also experienced problems with nobody coming to help me for a long while once I had entered the shop and not being able to get someone to come over to the front counter so I could pay and leave. The bottom line is this: People have a HUGE amount of selection of where to take their money when it comes to nail services. I wish businesses would understand that when they don’t make their customers feel relaxed, welcome and pampered(which is what you want from a pedicure), they will take their money elsewhere. That is exactly what I will be doing.

Clean facility, friendly staff, great selection of OPI colours. My technician listened carefully to what I wanted and did exactly what I asked. He filed my nails square and then rounded the edges in current fashion. He also gave me a nice long calf and forearm massage. They offer complimentary drinks and have pretty current magazines as well. The massage chairs are average. What would make them better? Offering a more involved spa pedi and option for European style pedicure instead of the ‘bubble bin’
