This place is terrible. I used Safely Tucked Away to store all of my household items after I moved from California to Arkansas and temporarily lived with family. When I was in California, trying to set up a storage unit, every person I talked to on the phone gave me different info. I was needing place to park a moving trailer(like an 18-wheeler) over night because my moving company couldn’t drop off and pick up the moving trailer on the same day. I carefully and thoroughly explained what I was needing and why, but I couldn’t get any two staff people to give me the same info. I ended up using them anyway because it was a good price and conveniently located to where I was going to be living. The time my stuff was stored there was uneventful — I have no complaints about security. When I moved out of my storage unit, I discovered numerous dead roaches in some of my boxes. I appreciate that they were dead roaches — clearly they are trying to be proactive about infestations — but there were still clearly signs of infestation. I used the Budget moving truck rental component of this company — that was a terrible experience which I’ll try to review if I can find a listing for Budget. The biggest problems started after I checked out. I gave proper notice and followed all of their move out procedures. The next month, they charged my account 140 on autobill. I called the manager who apologized and promised he’d credit me account back. He didn’t. It took multiple phone calls and finally threatening to report him for intentional fraud for him to credit my money back. He never apologized after the first call asking for my money back. He just kept having lame excuses(over a 3 week period) that he was busy and would get around to it. And guess what? It’s now the first of the month again and they autobilled me AGAIN. This time, I’ve contacted my bank and have reported it as a fraudulent transaction and have blocked all further transactions from this merchant. Steer clear! I don’t know what the other storage unit options are in Conway but they’ve got to be better than this.

Outrageous late fees. I have been a customer for nearly four years, and I’ve only been late three times. In April I did not realize I had missed a payment. In the month of May, I made a payment by phone, and they told me the total amount due. I paid it. Two weeks later they said the amount they told me was incorrect and I needed to pay an extra $ 166 to cover my late fee for the previous month. Shady business. Stay away from this place.
