Very disappointed in our meal here. Was lured by the«family friendly» promise on the sign by the name. Only thing positive was the high chair wasn’t sticky and dirty, as so many are. No warning that food would take a while, either during or after the order. I even asked the waitress which of two things would be faster. After 45 – 50 minutes with no food, and one server already said that she wasn’t our waitress but would look into things, I finally found our server who claimed that she had looked at the ticket and it was only 30 minutes old and that she had told us it would be at least a 45 minute wait. No way we would have stuck around for that, with a toddler running into nap time, if we had known in advance. The food finally did come, along with the waitress spilling water all over the table, and just missing soaking the toddler. Had to request utensils and napkins. What had been a really good day ended up with a hungry, tired, and cranky family.

Keeping in mind it was extremely crowded I wish the waitress would have been more forthcoming on a wait time. After 45 minutes with no food I asked if our food would be ready soon. I was told at least another hour. For a Ceasar salad and French dip. We left without eating. After spending an hour outside of town we stopped back by but this time asked ahead of time. Still an hour wait. Needless to say we moved on.

This place is great! Excellent prompt service with a smile — gals greet you the minute you walk in the door and they are always cordial and happy to serve. Food is great — we do ask them to hold the salt as they have a little heavy tilt on that shaker. Other than that — great burgers and fries. My husband LOVES the oyster shooters. Beer is quality! This is just a fun place to go and eat. They were flexible with our requests — always found the chef willing to put together a request if he had the ingredients. Nice clean environment — it’s a pub! They did have the ladies room out of order last we visited. NO excuse for that — get it fixed ASAP. It created a line on the single«Men’s room.» Thanks for sharing guys!

I usually don’t write bad reviews, but the female manager here, I think her name was Chris, was SO rude to the girls working. I was sitting at the bar listening to the way she spoke to her coworkers, it was terrible. I would never want to work here. It’s sad because the food is great but acting that way to your employees, let alone in front of people is so horrible! My friends and I will not be returning after seeing the girls faces as Chris scolded them. So snotty and fake. Wow.

My husband and I went for dinner and he had the Justin Burger and loved it. I had the crispy chicken w/bacon sandwich and loved it. Fries were good too. We also ordered pickles to start off with, but they never made it to our table and glad to see that they were not charged either! All in all, we would go back for the burgers.

Good atmosphere and food, waitress was extremely friendly which I didn’t find in most places I ate in the northwest.

Really good Gluten free hamburgers, need I say more!! Great place to watch Seahawks and gather with friends. All their food is awesome and comes in big portions. Alcohol reasonably priced and they have excellent service. Can’t ask for more with a neighborhood pub.

Please boycott this place if you are a woman or someone who cares at all about respecting them. I went here recently with a friend who worked in the area(we were just stopping in for a snack before the start of her shift). Even though we didn’t have a lot of time we thought we could get started on some nachos that I could finish once she left. So we ordered, got a couple of sodas, and were thinking nachos would just take a few minutes to prepare. After about 15 – 20 minutes after ordering, my friend had to split so she didn’t get to eat, but I waited patiently and thought I could bring her some of the leftovers to have on her break. The waitress kept telling me, «oh yeah honey, they’re on their way, almost out, thanks for being patient, etc» but it was actually really awkward to sit at this place at a table alone– then after about 45 minutes from when we originally ordered I started to get annoyed. I went to use the bathroom to kill some time, and when I came out, I overheard the sever telling the kitchen that she thought that I split without paying. I waved hello and said I was just going to sit at the table outside the kitchen and that I would take the nachos to go and pay now to speed things along. She apologized for the wait, rang me up, and I asked her if she knew why it was taking so long, telling her I knew it wasn’t her fault. So she said she would check with the kitchen to let me know what was going on, and just a minute later walked back into the room almost in tears. She said she had asked the cooks if everything was OK(oh behalf of me) and that they had told her to «suck their dicks»: — PLURAL–(it wasn’t just one of them that said it to her). She went and rang up another order and it was clear she was holding back tears– not because of me but because of how awful she had been treated by the guys in the kitchen for asking why a simple order of nachos WASTAKINGCLOSETOANHOURTOPREPARE. A female manager came by about 5 minutes later and said the nachos would be right out after that, then I waited another 10 to 15 minutes, and a fella came out from the kitchen and handed me the to-go bag and tried to be polite. What a joke. From the time we placed the order to the time I got the food it was OVER an hour, and I had witnessed the waitress being humiliated and belittled with slurs simply for trying to do her job to help a customer. These guys treat their(female) severs this way and continue to work there(the server told me that she did inform her manager). Therefore, PLEASEDONOTGOHEREIFYOUAREFEMALEORRESPECTTHEFEMALEGENDERUNTILTHESEWORKERSAREFIRED. Short version: Awful service, extremely long wait times, little communication, and misogynist male kitchen staff who belittle their female waitresses. Shut this place down

This place is a DIVE — I was a little startled when I walked in from the scenic main street of Conway into the bar but I should’ve known. Bartender was awesome — friendly, made sure we were never thirty. Good selection of beers. Got an oyster shooter which was HUGE!!! Also tried the BBQ’d Oysters. It was $ 16 for 10 oysters. They were huge & delicious — buttery, garlickly, spicy. It was perfect. 5 each was our dinner — we were stuffed! I will def stop through again for oysters.

Good news — bad news. The grilled BBQ oysters are the best. The only real reason for going here. Only on weekends through September. Been going here for over 20 years and always hoping the place will get better, no joy. The food is greasy, the tables are greasy, the menus are greasy. But the nachos are almost warm! Go get a load of BBQ oysters and tip the guy at the grill, not the wait staff. Although they do make you wait and wait and wait.

Great food and pub atmosphere. Ordered the nachos and chili, and wow, you’d better be hungry. The plate is huge, but everything is fresh and delicious. Its enough for two people as a main dish or 4 to 6 as an appetizer. The blue burger with sweet potato fries was superb as well. An excellent, spicy mayo spread on the bun with juicy beef burger and blue cheese mixture on top — the best. Fries were a little greasy, but, hey, this is a pub. I ordered extra spicy mayo as a dip for the fries and it was perfect. Wait staff is always friendly and efficient. On Sundays they have karaōke, which sounds fun. This is a great pub with good food and good staff. A destination!

Waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting. Wow! Waitress totally confused cant even take a simple order. Overpriced BBQ oysters mediocre at best. Dirty in and out. The bathrooms were out of service. Had to use the Sani-cans out back that were actually cleaner than the inside bathrooms.

Tried the«western burger» The burger consisted of a juicy hamburger patty, fresh onion, tomato, dill pickles, swiss cheese, lettuce, bbq sauce. Great choice and was not disappointed! Excellent tartar sauce and perfect fries. Our server was very nice and fast. The music was up pretty loud, but if you can get past that, you will enjoy the food and dive-bar atmosphere.

Ultra Slow Service. Cold Food. We had a number of issues similar to the other folks who down rated the Pub. Their menu reads, quite clearly, «Please be Patient». We were entirely prepared to be patient, but our experience went way way beyond patience. We got there at 5:45, and didn’t get any food until — with a *lot* of prodding — our dishes were brought around 7:30! Beer came after we’d been there about a half hour. The excuse was that«the computer was down» — we noted that people all around us were getting beer and food — many of them had arrived after we did. When our food finally arrived, it was cold! My wife’s oysters were stone cold — they’d clearly been defrosted but not cooked. My halibut and chips — meh! — the halibut was barely warm to the touch, the fries were sodden. I said I wanted my cold halibut taken off the check. The server came back and told us that although it was not her job, she had — at the RISKOFHERJOB — removed that one item. When I told her that, you know, *everybody’s* food was cold and almost inedible, she said, «Oh, I know. I’m terribly sorry, I can’t do anything else. I could(again) lose my job.» Didn’t have time to hassle with whoever was managing the place. The thing that really bugged me was the servers who kept coming by and saying, «Oh, we’ve had a computer glitch, but *your* food should be right out — for over an hour. We came for the BBQ oysters — every Friday and Sat night in season — but — even at 5:45, they’d run out, or turned off the grill or.. .something. We live on Camano Island, we know the area, and we know that the Pub is a neighborhood bar style joint — we’d eaten lunch here on more than one occasion. We were entirely open to loud music, crowds, casual service, and the like. But a near two-hour wait for food that was cold — ridiculous! We did not have a lot of choices — there’s not much else right in the area — but will think two or three times, hard, before returning to the Conway Pub. These guys are apparently succeeding, but it is clearly in spite of themselves. In the future, they’ll have to succeed without our business.

Been here a few times over the years. Always got the pan fried oysters and Old Tom(Beer). Always good, service has always been good to. Always a mixed crowd. But never knew nor had their BBQ’d oysters they do in the summer months until a co-worker recommended them. Oh man! They were good and as it was an overcast day in the 70’s, it was perfect sitting outside. And the service was great to. Just remember BBQ’d oysters are only Sat/Sun during the summer. And they’re first come first serve till they’re out.

Divey biker bar. The perfect balance of divey and fresh bar food. The oyster shooters will blow your mind. They come from right down the road in Skagit bay. This is where the locals go. I loved the outdoor decorum. Very cute and inviting. The inside has a little bit of a diner feel with a lot of booth seating. I liked the bar. Nice and cozy little spot. The locals are very friendly and it was nice striking up a few conversations with people. Most of the bartenders grew up in the area. I ordered a cheese burger and curly fries. A friend once told me the best hamburger he ever had was from the Conway. I had to try this legendary burger. I have to admit I did agree and now will tell others. «One of the best burgers I ever had was at the Conway Pub and Eatery.» I hope to be back again on my next trip to Washington.

Oyster Lovers Unite! This place was recommended to us by one of the locals and you can understand why! This is just one of those laid back, casual places where you can expect to see anyone from a group of Hell’s Angels, fraternity guys, geeks from Microsoft, your grandmas knitting circle or Sam Elliot when you walk through the door. There were a bunch of bar flies when we walked in — defiantly locals. There’s a seasonal beer garden and dining area which is a large open space. I’m sure this would be a fun spot to hang out on a weekend. The energy is fun, the staff are very cool and there is an open area which appears when the place gets going has seen some great dance moves! They make a pretty darn good hamburger and seem to have an endless number of recipes on how to prepare oysters. We just happened to stumble in during 2 for 1 oyster shooter Friday … I don’t know where they are getting their oysters by these suckers are HUGE! I’ve been to oyster bars which were proud to brag about their oysters which were ½ the size that were served here. These suckers filled a standard shot glass on their own w/out having any cocktail sauce. I also tried their fried oysters and fries which were outstanding. Hubby had a blue cheese burger with a salad which he really enjoyed. The service was very friendly and laid back. They knew the menu and were great at suggesting items. This place has a good thing going on! We’ll be back!
