Applebee’s

Went to the Conroe location on 1−31−16 with my family and the experience was terrible. The food took forever to make it to the table. Once we got the food, my Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp was raw, which eating raw chicken could seriously jeopardise my health. My parents’ food was way too salty, my wife’s salmon was way too small of a portion and overcooked.
Overall experience was a disaster, ohhh, when it came time to pay, our waitress was gone with out credit cards for at least 20 minutes.
If you find yourself in Conroe, hungry and not familiar with any other restaurants, make sure you steer away from this applebee’s. there is a fast food chicken place next door, go there!

Been there twice in the past month. Sick both times. Let’s just say that you will regret it later. I’m talking about the kind of sick where you don’t want to eat for two days afterwards. AVOID and go over to Buffalo Wild Wings or a the gas station deli. It’s better, faster, (and safer) than the re-​heated mess that Applebees serves.

I have always loved Applebee’s but haven’t been in a while so while out shopping sunday 12÷21÷14 i jump at the chance to go and it was awful service was slow and food was not good at all! Will not be returning anytime soon!

My wife and I had a good experience with this Applebees and it was her first time experiencing an Applebee’s. Our waitress was friendly and she was on top of the drinks and checking on us. We did not sit at the bar so I can’t tell you about the noise level over there, but the rest of the restaurant appeared to be fine.

I had made it a point to not eat at any Applebees after the story broke about a waitress was fired for posting a zero tip by a pastor, who also left a rude comment on the receipt. But seeing thst choices are a bit limited in the way of food after 11pm on a weekday I decided to overlook that story to see if I was correct in shunning this eatery. I’m happy I stopped in. I ordered a 9oz. Texas Sirloin, well done, and is exactly what I got. The steak was fantastic! For a well done steak it wasn’t dry at all, which makes me wonder why other restaurants can’t accomplish this task? The staff was very polite and accommodating. The only reason I give this visit 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the loud young adults that sat in the booth behind me. But hey, what should you expect around midnight during the summer while sitting in the bar area? (Since the rest of the restaurant was closed off) I will definitely be back to see if the experience repeats itself.

Service was awful. Brought appetizers with meal. Drinks were empty way to long. At times you couldn’t find a single waiter anywhere. This will be my last time here.

Pretty terrible food, they charge extra for EVERYthing. Sub par service. It’s tempting to drop in because of their location in the shopping center but seriously skip it. There’s a little place called Pizza Shack in downtown Willis– head there if shopping in the area.
