This place is 500 feet from the municipal airport where I landed. The generic hamburger was good and priced right. I had ordered medium, but they cooked it medium-rare and it was good that way. The fries were good too. Above all, the service from our wonderful waitress Joy was super friendly and attentive.

This review is strictly for their Happy Hour(Mon-Fri, 4:00 — 6:00pm). I was in with a friend and our kids last Friday evening, and it happened to be during Happy hour. Vineyards offers a very nice limited Happy Hour menu consisting of mainly appetizers, beer, wine, and house brand cocktails. My kid and I ordered the quesadilla, Mac and Cheese, and I had a 9oz glass of pinot noir. Our food was hot, and freshly made, and everything tasted really yummy. A the end, My bill was only $ 14.00 :-), and because our service was very fast and friendly(especially since we were two moms with five kids between us), and I was super happy with price tag too; I left a really good tip. Thank you, waiter-who’s name I’ve forgotten-I’ve been a chef for my entire adult life, and I know what a pain in the butt moms with kids can be! I can’t speak to the main dishes or desserts at dinner time, but if you are looking for a good happy hour with good service then Vineyards is a good place to start.

This was the most unorganized. It’s a circus. The customer service is horrible. We got the check right after we got our plates. Servers are running, juggling and apologizing for almost running in to customers. I’m highly disappointed in the food as well. It was just disgusting. I got eggs Benedict there was a thin slice of lunch meat that look like ham. The price you pay for this plate I should have received a thick piece of ham. Fruit and hash browns.unbelievable.

Steak was not very tender and was lacking of flavor other being drowned in butter. The fries were descent and the cauliflower was good. The prices are high for the size and quality of food. This is a hotel restaurant 40 miles from downtown San Fransisco, not a place in downtown, the price should reflect that.

We stayed for snacks during happy hour at night. The server is very professional and caring, one of us left her phone on the table when we left. When she went back to retrieve it 15 min later, the server already had the phone waiting for her. The quesadilla is tasty too, but it’s the service that matters to me. Good job!

Poor service, undercooked bland food and the server asked us to leave unless we ordered food(we started with drinks)

Well this is the second night in a row that I have ordered room service just for a bowl of tomato bisque and both nights it has taken over an hour and I had to call BOTH nights and ask about it because they told me it would be under 30 min. Really confused as to why they are offering room service if they cannot even deliver a bowl of soup in under an hour. And to top things off they were rude when I called and asked about my order. Will not be spending any more money here.

Was just here with the group. We had ordered Lunch and everything seemed to go fine. One member of our group got there quite late. We were the only one’s in the restaurant at first. I decided to split a pepperoni pizza with the person next to me. Some people got burgers, and some got sandwiches. Katey was our server, and I thought she did a great job. When it comes to want I want to drink when I eat out, I usually stick with water because I’m so CHEAP. Speaking of cheap, I didn’t have to spend much since I split a meal with someone. It was fun to try this place out. I could also tell people were enjoying there food.

excellent service and the food was solid. the ambiance was the best the atrium,. Had dinner and lunch and both times we were happy with the service. They brought me a desert with a candle for my birthday and brought us food and drinks down to the pool. They heated up water and brought me a bowl I could warm up my sons bottle with. The managers checked in made some small talk and asked us how everything was going. Overall was very happy with the service at the restaurant. I worked at this restaurant one summer when I was 19 and have always liked the place. The restaurant is a little nostalgic. Some of the same people work at the restaurant and they are the nicest and the classiest.

Went to vineyard with 6 of my girlfriends for the first time. It was a great meal and I ordered the tomato soup(8 $) and chicken with asparagus.(18 $) The girls had a Cesar salads that looked delicious, poke salmon and hot dogs with a few drinks intertwined. The food was great but the waiter tried to jip us like 10 bucks.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying for good food but what I had here is average and pricey for what you get and the one bartender is clueless if you go you will know who I’m talking about

If you have the option, DONOT go here for breakfast. The food is fine, however, the service is HORRIBLE! We waited 20 minutes to get waited on, I asked 2x for cream, did not get enough silverware, food cooked wrong 2x… The list goes on. If you have a car, GOSOMEWHEREELSE!

The service here is horrid. I worked hard all day then flew 500 miles and drove another 30 before I checked into the Hotel. Looking forward to a nice dinner I went downstairs and asked for a seat in the bar. The waitress sat me but because I was not in the restaurant she did not give me a menu. 15 minutes went by before the bar tender waited on the people next to me. After another 20 minutes I got up and walked out. Taco Bell across the street has better service.

Well people’s opinions of this place are really all over the place. I am definitely glad I don’t have any reason to return for another four yearsl I was at the Crowne Plaza with my boss for a full day notary renewal class. The class started very early so I stopped at this bar for a coffee at the beginning of the day. I enjoyed that they asked if I wanted room left for the chilled cream. I did. I drank this cup before class started and went back to the bar. I knew I would need another so I purchased a second cup. At our first break, I returned for a third which I wasn’t charged for, but the girl said I’d be charged for the next one(I used my same cup each time). So perhaps I shouldn’t have had to pay for the second one? Not a big deal, not much money. The boss didn’t want Taco Bell for lunch(it’s across the street). I’d been thinking about it for hours, and honestly, I just didn’t have any good memories of eating at Vineyards in the past, but he was buying so I wasn’t going to be picky! I ordered a buffalo wrap with a side salad and he ordered a Cobb salad. Both were over $ 10. Several minutes after ordering, he asked me if there was blue cheese crumbles on the salad. I told him I thought there were, but the waitress said there were not. His salad arrived with tons of blue cheese crumbles, and they’d forgotten the bacon. He sent it back and we studied for the class and waited as they remade it. It returned to the table corrected but our waitress walked off before he realized he now had no fork. He was given a fork as she was setting down the bill. A long time later we chased the girl down to run our credit card. Aside from the service, my food was just okay. I don’t order wraps often, but this one had way too much wrap and not enough filler. Stuff it with some lettuce or something! And the salad included was in a teeny tiny cup. Impossible to eat out of so I dumped it onto my plate. Almost nothing there. For what we paid, the quality of the food, and the service, I would definitely recommend a crunchy taco across the street to any friends asking about the restaurant. Note: It is very pretty inside the hotel, and the restaurant is in a very pretty spot with water around it and relatively comfortable seats.

Seems like people either really love or really hate this place. I ended up eating here during a work seminar for lunch. Service was very fast and staff was very courteous. The meal was started with an ice berg salad with was super good with great dressing. Then we had a steak with a mushroom sauce for the main course. Everyone at the table agreed it was the highlight of the day, super good steak, cooked perfect, super tender and great quality. Then we has a nice little cheese cake for dessert which was decent nothing to write home about but still good. Keep it mind I did not have to pay, so that might be a factor. I did go back after and have a few beers at the bar, no problems and free nuts/chex mix kinda thing. I would for sure try it again.

Waaaaay to pricey for the quality of the meals, pretty poor service and again I say way too over priced. I cannot even comment too much more on tis place. There is so much to eat in Concord and surrounding areas, especially Walnut Creek, take the trip. You can get double the food for your buck going just about anywhere else.

The restaurant attached to the hotel I’m staying in. The service is so awful I won’t bother to try and drink in their bar again. The bartender did anything but. I waited over 10 minutes for each of my drinks, and I waited over 15 to cash out. Keep in mind, the bar wasn’t even close to being busy, he was just more concerned about ballgame and avoiding customers. You’re pretty fucking awful if I can’t even drink in your restaurant.

The Worst ! We showed up on time and our reservations taken… Yet it was cancelled on Open tables I wonder if it was removed to stop reviews. 1) The dinning area was uncomfortably cold. 2) Waitress mixed up our order brought the wrong soup. 3) Had to request the appetizer because they forgot it. 4) Meal Presentation looked like home cooking for a $ 50 a plate Meal. 5) Heavy metal rock music blaring from the Bar area. 6) In the middle of our 6:45 dinner reservation a crew began taking down many tables next to us and bring in High top bar tables slamming and banging. 7) Went to the dessert buffet to see what they have … curiously we are thanked for coming, then return to see our drinks and food removed. 8) Obviously felt pressure to hurry up and leave since few were dining. 9) The wild turkey dinner made me ill and kept me up all night. The worst dining experience for the price I have ever had.

It feels like this restaurant is going through puberty or something. A little rough around the edges. Kind of awkward and gangly. Yet, can be so nice at moments that you feel like there’s still hope. The tables were dirty and made from some strange molded plastic material that I couldn’t tell if the dirt was new or just stains making them dirty. The seating area is inside the little atrium area near the Koi Pond.****** We started with the Calamari. Which was very, very fresh. It was small delicate pieces that were not overly battered. The Cocktail Sauce was jarred. Cant forget the first cocktail, a Cosmo. A regular old cocktail. They don’t have a custom cocktail menu here. Also, they serve all of their«Up» drinks in glasses that you would, I guess, serve some type of blended drink like a daiquiri or maybe a Margarita. I went with the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I adored the micro greens that came on my sandwich. Who doesn’t? Am I right? They’re so lil’ and cute. There were also some nicely cooked Red Peppers. It was all in all a very nicely made sandwich. Very original from what I was expecting. My husband got the Skirt Steak which came with a salad and fries. He shared with the lil’ guy at the table. He said it was meh. I’m not sure what that means to him. Since they didn’t have a cocktail menu we asked the bartender, who was also our server, if he was up for a challenge. I am known in some circles as the«Cocktail Girl». My husband is like me and bigger and can imbibe more than I do. We are quite the Cocktail judging team. This bartender asked us what we liked and took that info and came back with one of the best original Cocktails we have had. German Chocolate Cake Cocktail. Sounds sugary and sweet. No, no, no. It was a rich, starchy flavored drink, that was clear. I took a photo of it if you don’t believe me. It was excellent. It surpassed our challenge and this bartender gets the gold star for originality The food was nothing to scream about. They need real martini glasses. New tables and a little better design scheme overall. Our bartender needs a bonus to come up with a custom cocktail menu, that changes quarterly. I need to start charging for my recommendations to places. Its really quiet and calm in here and if you have a little one like I do who occasionally smacks a spoon really loud on a table, points and screams at passer bys and over all throwing of food, its a really great place to come. There was no one else eating while we had the majority of our visit. Coming back again with baby in tow. *Mom Tip******This place is located in a hotel that you can just walk into and no one says anything. They have a gorgeous koi pond river type thing flowing through the center. For moms out there with little walkers this is a great FREE spot to kill a half hour. As long as your monster is behaved I don’t see why anyone would care*

Came here for Happy hour from 5−8am! I love happy hour times that are more extended =) My date and I started out with a glass of chardonnay each for $ 5. Wines are $ 5. Well drinks are $ 6, Margaritas are $ 7, beers are $ 4, there’s also Long island iced tea for maybe $ 8? not sure. For food, we got caesar salad for me, house salad for him, crab cakes, gilroy garlic fries, prawn cocktail, and skirt steak. Everything was delicious except for maybe the skirt steak. It can be more tender. All were about $ 5-$ 6 each. Service was really good and attentive. Funny how our server said we ordered a buffet. We were in the mood for a lot of food ;) Bill came out to be ~$ 45. Nice prices! Definitely be back if we’re in town! Pretty nice restaurant where you can see the inside of the hotel still. The hotel is one of the nicest place I’ve been to here near Milpitas.
