Good value for the family & great service. You’ll always leave full if you get the salad bar. My 9 year old loves eating here!

This is a pretty consistent location. I had the steak and lobster with the salad bar. The waiter is nice(same guy each time) and the ambience is pure Sizzler. When I came in I was behind a senior couple who were finding out about the senior discount. When it was finally my turn the young girl at the register asked me «how are you doing ma’am?» Then she profusely apologized realizing I was clearly a man. I said«It’s okay Sir.» :) A bit later I’m eating and I notice that instead of muzak I’m hearing an infomercial about a vacuum cleaner. As I look around at the TV’s, no vacuum infomercial! Finally I go up and ask the girl who mistook me for a ma’am if she actually heard what was playing through the ceiling. She listened, began to laugh, apologized profusely(unnecessarily) and got someone to help her fix it. They put on holiday music. Maybe I should’ve left it. :)

Disgustingly filthy booths. This place makes BART trains seem luxurious. In fact I’m certain any public transportation would be a healthier environment to put things in your mouth. One can only hope the parts of the restaurant we can’t see are cleaner than their dining room. I just left, and half-expect to be vomiting within the hour. Has the health inspector seen this? It is the filthiest restaurant I’ve seen in this country. I’m trying to think if I have seen any worse ever anywhere. I am posting some pictures because it is so hard to believe.

Soo… went to Sizzlers to try the all you can eat salad bar with the hard taco shells with the meat balls as suggested by Anthony Bourdain… it was not as delicious as it was made out to be. Otherwise, the salad bar was reasonably fresh and the service/staff there was very friendly.

We went to this place because of the salad bar thinking it would be the same or close to the Sizzler rest we’ve been too. Upon arriving the lady at the counter was very jolly, paid our food and went to our table. As i sat down i saw this big old spot on the carpet, the carpet has a lot of stains very dirty needs steam cleaning asap. When i went to the salad bar the food containers were very small, the choices are very few and very uninviting. The fried chicken wings were ok until my husband found a piece of feather on it. Considering that this is Calif where you find abundance of fruits and veggies this place is embarassing. The amount we paid is not worth the food we ate. This place needs a lot of work. The only good thing i can say is that the waittress was nice to us.

When my wife and I first visited a Sizzler restaurant many years ago, we thought it offered pretty good value for the money. Their steaks were not the absolute best, but they were relatively cheap; and their salad bar was among the best we had ever encountered. Today, things are a little different. The prices have gone up considerably, although they are still reasonable. The steaks seem a little tougher and are not always cooked to order as one might like. And their salad bar offers slightly fewer items than before. In particular, Sizzler for a while stopped providing the endless chicken wings they used to serve. I suppose too many people were filling up on them, and it was costing the restaurant too much money to continue. Now, they seem to have gone back to offering the wings with the salad bar; I suppose too many people complained about their stopping the practice. Whatever, it’s a nice place to eat, and while they might not be quite what they used to be, they remain a pleasant bargain among so many high-priced restaurants. Just don’t expect gourmet steaks(or gourmet anything).

Absolutley horrible! The lady who rang us up was nice but the waiter was rude beyond belief! Also, when I went to the Salad Bar to get a spoon for my soup all the silver wear was dirty. There was a black gooey substance at the tip of the spoon! Asked for a refund and came to Chilles

One of my favorite Sizzler’s to come to. Its never super crowded. So that makes for good service. Their salad bar has a couple more toppings than the Pinole or Albany location. I’m so happy that they decided to put hot wings back on the salad bar. There was no way I was paying 5 – 6 bucks for five wings. The wings are probably my BF favorite thing on the salad bar. Mine is the clam chowder and that tasty cheese toast. Fresh out of the oven– blazing hot. Its to die for. Our waitress this past weekend was super attentive. I was so glad that she brought us extra plates as soon as we sat down. Only downfall she never came around to fill our drinks. Good thing for us we were in a rush. So we left her a fair tip and went about our day.

The two stars are solely for the salad bar. We had burgundy beef tips and a hamburger. The sauce on my partner’s beef tips was watery, the tips were undercooked and the flavor was off. She ate one bite. When she told the waitress she didn’t like it, the waitress offered to bring something else, but my partner declined, having lost her appetite. There was never an offer to take the meal off the bill. My hamburger was fair at best. The bun was so soft that it completely flattened out. The only redeeming part of the meal was the well– stocked salad bar. That’s the only thing worth ordering.

The food here is mediocre at best. The manager is beyond rude. My boyfriend and I recently had weight loss surgery so we split a meal and he eats the entrée and I eat the salad. Both times we’ve eaten here the manager had come up and said something. He was extremely rude and raised his voice about the issue. Last week we were here and the manager was rude to an old lady and her son got in a loud altercation and almost hit him. The manager, Mauricio is a new manager and is doing a horrible job. Never coming back here.

Prices on the rise and portions shrinking. The booths are stained black. The new butter has honey in it which my wife can’t eat, food allergy. The managers response was oh well, sorry. nothing of the standards they used to have.

Kids meals are so restricted why do they have to be 10 and under! My son cannot eat the chicken nuggets cause he turned 11 last week!, and we just now we here this? All the staff have a sort of attitude but the waitress, Kim, GIVEHER A PROMOTION she is a really nice hard working person. She gets the job done quick fast and clean. If it wasn’t for her this review would be 1 star

he kids steak was the size of deck of cards… and as think. They only kid it would feed is a 3 year old. The shrimp… all I could think is, «what did you do to make them look so shriveled? The salad bar was ok. Not worth it to buy the endless, you only need one trip.

After visiting the Sizzler in Reno this one was such a disappointment, the endless salad bar is what I got, and it just didn’t have much. Such a small fruit selection at least compared to the other location I’ve been too. And they even had far less salad toppings. And then they let little kids go to the salad bar by themselves so all the food gets mixed together, this is very frustrating for someone like me with severe food allergies. I wanted some new carrots since there was so much other stuff in the ones currently out, but the employee didn’t understand what I was asking for so I just gave up. I don’t think I will revisit this location again.

Don’t come here looking for a great dining experience. Not fancy at all. A great place to come if you’re taking out a group of kids… no doubt they’ll love it. I ordered the Ultimate Shrimp Platter. This platter offered a variety of frozen shrimp cooked three ways: Fried, scampi, and fried again. There was nothing«ultimate» about it. In closing, it did serve it’s purpose. I’m full. Should have stuck with the endless salad bar.

*Why haven’t people put their own photo’s in this review’s album? Hmm? Never been to Sizzler’s, I always thought it was just a seafood and steak place but I would never thought they had a buffet inside. I was surprised that you had to go to the register to order your food BUT I actually love that idea. I mean, who wants to wait a awhile for a waiter to come to your table when you could just wait in a line and there’s a menu on the wall you could look at and they’re taking your order in less than 5 minutes? (it was dinner time and it was Christmas) I order their bacon cheeseburger($ 9.99) and my boyfriend order their steak and lobster($ 19.00) with their salad bar($ 10.99). It wasn’t even a salad bar, it was more like a salad bar AND appetizer’s and dessert bar. I liked it :) Appetizer’s included: spaghetti, build your own nachos/taco’s, and chicken wings. Our waiter was decent, he was running around everywhere and I guess he was in that momentum where he just couldn’t stop by your table for a literally a minute or 2 to ask you«how are you doing» «how’s your food» etc. But I understand because it was Christmas and he was trying his hardest to get everyone their food. I think it was just him and one other lady running around waiting tables. We asked him for napkins and he forgot so my boyfriend had to go to the front and ask the cashier, but it was okay. Got our food and it wasn’t too shabby. I got my burger well done, it was really good and still juicy. I loved how they put more than 2 pickle’s on my burger, made the burger taste a bit sweet. Fries was hot and crunchy, the only downside to my burger was the bun: the bottom part was toasted but the top seemed like they just grabbed it out of the bag and tossed it on my burger, I like my buns toasted, not mushy. Boyfriend’s steak was small too, but he still enjoyed it. Atmosphere seemed sort of like a Denny’s. Just in my opinion. It didn’t feel so clean inside the place. Maybe re-do the carpet or change the lighting a bit. Overall, not bad. I’d love to come back again :)

BACKINTHEDAY Wow, I haven’t been to a Sizzler in a while. I remember back in the day this was my spot as a kid. I used to always fill my plate up with chicken wings, nachos, onion rings and some lemon pepper shrimp. I could sit here and eat for hours. da bomb. FFWD20 Years: Nothing has changed it was still the same. Went here for dinner, ordered the salad bar. Ate a big salad along with some tacos. It was good. Can’t eat the same way I use to. There was so much other stuff I wanted to try but just couldn’t. Location of the place is easy to find. service is good. parking is good. price is very reasonable
