Solid place. After eating some awesome chicharones and feeling guilty, they have a fresh smoothie bar to balance things out. Awesome!

Sorry guys, I had to walk out of this place. I like freshly grilled jalapenos or serranos with my Mexican food and if that is not available, I don’t see how a restaurant can claim to be a Mexican restaurant. All they have is pickled jalapenos and with all the great reviews I would have thought someone would have pointed this out. Fresh peppers are so much better than canned, vinegary, soggy peppers. I was really looking forward to trying this place but no fresh peppers is ridiculous for a «Mexican» restaurant.

We found this place while attending an event in Walnut Creek. I must have been to at least 100 taqueria/Mexican restaurants in my life and I always like to try new ones. As soon as I walked in the first thing that I noticed was that the menu was very small. No combos and only a few of the major items. I ordered a crunchy taco and my wife and daughter got some carnitas nachos. The taco was very good and for a 1.60 it was a steal. The nachos were huge and from what I can see they looked very good. No complaints on the quality of the food. My one big huge complaint was that we sat outside and they had speakers playing music. It was a Pandora station that was playing Pitbull music. Frequent F bombs being dropped and at one point during a song we heard about someone sucking a c**k. Very not appropriate for families with children to hear while dining. Someone over there really needs to talk to the employees and explain to them that what might be their listening choice in the car is not the right choice for a family eatery.

Good/ok food Hot, semi traditional foods, most of the meats were over cooked, didn’t retain a lot of moisture and the rice and beans are simple and and not all that seasoned Great juices If you love fresh pressed juices there are some great juices fresh juice to order, really good and refreshing Fresh tortillas Who doesn’t love fresh pressed tortillas ? That’s what this place is named after so it serves them that they do an great jobs of having fresh tortillas Sometimes too fresh and undercooked, you can still taste the flower Terrible service I get my order back to me wrong(no kidding) 50% of the time wether it’s a language barrier or the lack of caring about what a customer is saying or wants it’s pretty annoying Some of the cashiers have terrible customer service skills overall don’t care that you’re there and they don’t want to be very helpful answering questions and when asked questions can get very annoyed and confrontational just a heads up

Place is authentic and hopping! Line out the door, tables move fast. The tacos have among the most meat i’ve seen. Lengue, cabeza, carnitas, the works! Papusas, tamales, they all rock!

We got El Molino catered for my little brother’s 8th grade graduation yesterday. We ordered ahead of time so our order was pretty much good to go when we picked it up. Tamales, Tacos, Enchiladas, and the best chips I’ve ever had! We also got refried beans and rice of course. This was so great for the build-your-own taco station. They give you cheese, sour cream, salsas, onions, and cilantro in little containers. Everyone was so pleased with their food, as was I. I made myself some nachos with the BESTEVERCHIPS and added all the fix ins on them. Served quite a bit of people. Really flavorful and so delicious! I will definitely be returning if i need an event catered, or just if i need a drive by taco or tamale!

I’ve been going to this location for their tacos, pupusas, freshly made beet juice and fantastic bionico! Yum! Everything here is delicious! Service is excellent! There are lines up to the door most of the time but that’s how you know their food is good! If you haven’t done so, come and enjoy the best food of its kind in town!

Came here based on Unilocal recommendations but this was the worst burrito I’ve had in recent memory. The filing was not uniformly distributed. I had to eat through literally half the burrito before I got to the guac or meat. The carnitas was really hard on the outside(not crispy) and the interior was just too lardy. Also took a lot longer than I would have expected though the staff was flying around(the other reviews warned of this) I won’t be going back but I accept it might have been an off day given the many other positive reviews.

This place was damn good. I just got a burrito to go, and I would definitely go back. I showed up around 11 am on a weekday and right after I got there, about 20 people got in line, so I got there just at the right time. Just go and get some food. It’s not great on atmosphere or super friendly service, but the point is the food.

This place has a good number of reviews for Concord, and it has high ratings, so I had to try it out! I got the crunchy taco and three soft al pastor tacos. This place was packed and busy when I came in. There’s definitely a lot of people coming in and out of this place. I ordered at the counter and waited for my food. I actually brought my food home. Honestly, I wasn’t wowed by the tacos. They’re definitely good though, but I didn’t bite into it and go «omg, this is amazing.» I definitely like the crunchy taco because I like crunchy tacos. Who doesn’t love a deep fried shell? There’s also parmesan cheese in it, which I didn’t expect. For the price of the soft tacos, I feel like you can go to a taco truck and get tacos similar in quality for the less the price.

Small little spot behind the main shopping center but I felt like I struck gold when I found it! The food is really good and the service is good! Had the chicharon tacos and a carne asada burrito. All flavorful and nicely packed. Will be returning! I wish they had tripas tacos :(

Came here on a whim and what a great idea! I ordered the soft tacos(aka large street tacos) and my husband got a burrito. Everything was cooked and flavored to perfection. I also ordered a horchata which was also perfect — not too watery, cinnamony, it was a great addition to my tacos which were spicy for my taste buds. Seating is limited on the inside, but the place is clean, quaint, and full of hard workers who are either always cooking, cleaning, or doing something. Wait time was really short too. I would definitely come back here — they even have breakfast options available during the week, which may or may not make me late for work one day.

One word, DELICIOUS! Grabbed the carne asada burrito and m-m-m-m-m-TASTY. They do not cheap out on meat or guac! Fully stuffed to the max, stuffing my belly to the max too. I loveeee the added cilantro in the burrito. The green sauce they give on the side also adds just the right amount of kick! Meat was juicy and the rice was absolutely fluffy. Not much MSG after-effects too which I was pleasantly surprised about! Ordering is efficient and your order gets made fast. Definitely returning to try their tostadas and other items. Come, you won’t be disappointed ;)!

I’ve been here numerous times and it’s always consistent. The tacos are pricier than other taquerias but they have a lot of meat in them and hand made fresh tortillas. The carnitas are the most popular here and they even sell it by the lb. The chips are a 1.00 for a decent sized bag and are thick and crispy. The nachos are definitely worth sharing with a couple people. At $ 7.65 its a good deal and it literally weighs a few pounds if you get everything. Next time, I’ll have to do without the lettuce and refried beans. Service is always good and orders come out quickly even when the line is out the door. They also have a sister restaurant in Walnut Creek if you don’t want to drive thru traffic on Monument.

Our go-to taqueria. Even if that means fighting Monument Blvd rush hour traffic to get there. They have the best, freshest tortillas you will find anywhere. Great chips they make from those tortillas. Excellent carnitas, carne asada, salsa, and these yogurt-and-fruit parfaits called Bionicos. Huge, loaded tacos(see picture). Courteous, efficient service even though they are usually busy. They seem to be always crowded, any day of the week. They have a small, no-frills dining area inside, and a larger picnic area to the side of the restaurant. Every item can be made to go or carry out. On weekends you will see families stopping in to buy larger trays or meats by the pound for family parties or picnics. Our school and community groups have also used them for catering events, and they are dependable, well priced, and great quality.

These tacos are the best! The menu is extensive and you can see the line cooks chopping up the meat and adding their signature salsa. Everytime I visit there is line outside the door. The soft tacos at $ 2.50 are to die for. I usually order two tacos, chicken and carne asada plus a horchata. I did the fatal mistake of ordering three tacos once and it was lights out on the keyboard at work. The burritos and tortas are mucho grande. You will not be disappointed with the food plus there is an outside patio with 4 large tables.

After weeks going to physical therapy and having this on bookmark, and even one time I went here and got completely lost and decided that day wasn’t the day, alas… I finally found it. RESTAURANTISLOCATEDATTHEENDCORNEROFTHISSHOPPINGCENTER As you enter you are greeted with friendly faces and eagerness to take your order. It’s one of those order and pay first places. As I waited for my nachos to arrive and my paramours quesadilla and tacos I surveyed the place seeing that they make their own tortillas as well as juices. What a delight to see this place in action. The food took a good 10 mins to arrive. My food was delicious. I was completely stuffed. I had chicken with the nachos and it added crazy good flavor. The quesadilla was meaty AF. Too bad it’s all the way in Concord. This would have been a regular spot for me

There are days when everything lines up just so and a bad day is inevitable. Perhaps one has a tendency to sleepwalk and updated to iOS 8.3 whilst doing so and effectively turned off the alarm. Perhaps one missed their train by 10 seconds and had to wait 15 minutes for the next one. Perhaps one’s coworkers simultaneously decided to be demanding. Perhaps some sips of wine taken with hopes of improving one’s mood backfired and made one paranoid all day. Perhaps one ended up stepping on canine fecal matter(seriously, people, pick up after your pets!). Perhaps one decided that good cheap eats were in order only to drop and shatter the salsa container one just purchased. It happens. It does not necessarily make a bad day an easier pill to swallow, but it helps to know that bad days happen here and there. However, bad days almost always have a redeemer. Perhaps it is a person, a new toy, good news, but there is almost always something to salvage one’s faith in the universe. For the recent bad day I had, that redeemer was El Molino. How did this happen you ask? They gave me amazing carnitas tacos, chicharon pupusas, and freshly squeezed orange and carrot juice. All this, and a package of tortilla and a container of the red salsa for less than $ 12. Everything was flavorful and every bite made me forget about every single bad thing that happened during the day. Also, I should point out that their servings are more than generous. The taco must have had at least a cup of carnitas. The pupusas were very tasty, with the crunch making every bite fun(I do love chicharon). I am, however, not the biggest fan of the slaw it came with. It was the bitter aftertaste that did not please me very much, but it is very easy to stop eating it. The freshly squeezed juice was refreshing, but I do hope it was cold as opposed to room temperature. It would have made the warm day a bit more tolerable. Also, the customer service was so friendly, which was so welcome on a bad day. The workers I interacted with were all smiles and kindly replaced the salsa I dropped free of charge. The customers were also very friendly that even though I was alone, it never truly felt like I was solo. They, along with the food, salvaged my dark mood. I think I have found my new go-to for amazing tacos. Until next time, El Molino!
