The Disney Store

Disney errrthang! My friend is a Disney fanatic, and it’s so hard to buy her anything, except for Disney stuff! So combined with her man’s help. Letting me know what she does & does not yet own… I found a bunch of cool things for her for Christmas!
There isn’t much help walking around because the store is big & it was jam packed during the holidays, but the prices were ok (much cheaper than Disneyland gift shops!), and they had so many cool character items it was almost hard to decide which ones to buy, because they were all cute!
I’m so glad this store is here. Makes life easier finding presents for Disney fans of all ages!

Who doesn’t love Disney? Every new characters is one of kind! But the traditional Mickey & Mini are still my favorite!
The new Disney Store are AMAZING! The decorations is really into details, from the entrance to the clothing racks. The roof sky is stunning. The kids really get excited. You really fell like you in The big Disneyland store. The store is pretty big with play and coloring corner for the little ones. They have cute stuff, clothes, shoes, pajamas, costumes, toys, dishes, etc of all the Disney characters. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The store is for any age, even my older find the store as interesting :) it’s always good to feel a kid again, especially when you are grownup!

Becky and the team are STELLAR!
My family & I rushed in just 10 minutes before closing to pick up a Princess dress for my daughter. Not only did Becky allow us to still enter but she was helpful in checking sizes in the back for us but also complimented how nice each dress looked on my daughter (very, very sweet).
The new store itself was simply magical, very similar to the SF location. There is a drawing area, TV and a castle in the middle.
Also even though they were not selling Vinyls, there was still plenty in the case to trade.
Lastly, during checkout Becky also mentioned she had just gotten back from the park and gave great tips for our upcoming trip… even though we are annual passholders ;)

I’m reposting my review here in hopes that it saves another parent from the hassle of trying to exchange a faulty product:
What a bummer. The first time we visited the new Disney store in Concord, my mom and I went wild buying presents for my son. He’s a huge fan of all things Disney and we spoil him a little, so we were thrilled that the store reopened and we could now visit and shop regularly. Less than two months later his lunch bag broke, so I took it back, expecting to exchange it. Well, we didn’t have the receipts or tags (seriously who keeps receipts and tags once they start using the product? I guess I should’ve), so they wouldn’t exchange it.
I expected a lot more quality from a Disney product (my kiddo used the bag 3 – 5 days per week for less than two months before it broke) but more importantly, I expected Disney to stand behind their products in cases like this. I understand the need for return policies, but come on Disney… I could’ve pulled up a credit card transaction number as proof instead of tags or a receipt, why can’t you? I asked the manager, Jason Sparrow, what was stopping me from buying a new one, keeping the tags, then turning around and returning the broken one. He said «I don’t know». I wouldn’t do that, because I’m honest, but I was trying to point out the huge flaw in their policy.
Disney Concord just lost two customers who hoped to continue shopping way too much to spoil a lucky little guy over a lunch bag that is now on clearance for less than $ 10. Way to go.

The new store is awesome! Every morning they let the children unlock the gates to the store and the kids get a special key for doing it! The store is super clean and has a nice open feel. The new décor seems more modern and colorful it draws you in. They also have a tv and activities area for the kids so they can olay there while you shop.

IT’S BACK AND IT’S NEW!!! The Disney store is always my favorite place to just look around and feel like a kid again without having to drive all the way down to SoCal!
The new employees here are so nice and friendly and really know every itty bitty detail of the place– ask them about the skyline of the store!
They now have a little place for the kiddies to color and sing along to songs much like in every other Disney store now — and may I add how awesome Disney is in general?!
Grand opening on May 2 you can meet Mickey and Minnie!
