The first time I went to this place I was muy dissappointed, but I gave it anoher shot, and decided against ordering their rice inside of my burrito, which drastically improved the taste of my food. I just went back today, and ordered a shrimp burrito with no rice, with everything else. It was the bomb! The only difference was I ordered by phone to pick up my order, and I asked them to grill the burrito after it had been prepared to give it a crunchy outter texture. That really made it yummy! This place is worth a try for sure… Oh, but no 5 star marks because the rice sucks! But, their spicy red salsa is on point! :)

I come to this place on my lunch break. LOVE their lunch special! $ 5.50 for your choice of 4 – 5 picks, including rice and salsa. I always get the steak soft tacos with EXTRA rice and beans. The woman who always works there is VERY nice and she remembers me… I don’t even think she charges me for the extra rice and beans! Their salsa is outstanding; always fresh and spicy and cold. The chips can be better– it’s just your regular chips from the bag. The only other thing I ever got here was the steak quesadilla. LOTS of carne asada chunks in there and guacamole and the works. They don’t skimp out. I’ve read the previous reviews and most people didn’t have a good experience here. I can understand why… If you don’t like yucky mexican(sorry! But they ARE ok?!) men staring at you, don’t go there. Or weird, smelly homeless people that sometimes wander in. I don’t mind too much. It’s just what you get at a local taqueria, you know? Good food and weird people :)

mediocre food and hostile locals coming into this taqueria begging for money are what you may encounter when you visit here. next time i’m in the hunt for late night tacos in concord, i’m skipping this place.

This taqueria had the worst menudo I have ever tasted! When the employee gave it to me, it wasn’t even hot. I think the only good thing about this place is the chips and salsa, but im not going to pay $ 10 for good chips and salsa. My fiancé had two carne asada tacos, the meat was very dry. Dont go to this place, if you want good mexican food go to El Molino.

Three substantial chicken tacos for less than $ 5. Authentic and delicious with onion, cilantro and a spicy red salsa. Crispy chips and a stocked salsa bar with an especially tasty tomatillo(green) salsa. Mmm.
