Tachi Sushi Bar 2

Horrible service, our waitress acted stuck up and the food was mediocre. The happy your has good deals, but what does that matter when you only see the waitress once every 20 minutes?

Sushi was tasteless and service was at best 2 stars.
will not be going back.

The place is convenient for me because work is so close, but other than that I was not very happy with it. I’m not one to complain but the menu is a bit outdated and confusing with the different specials and do on… I had to get help ordering and once I decided on a lunch special I was happy, until the good came. The tempura was very plain not as good as other places and the sashimi salmon wasn’t fresh at all. The miso soup didn’t taste fresh at all. Idk if ill be coming back here. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I love sushi.

I’ve driven by the place several times and it looked popular, big and promising.
We went there for a late lunch. A friendly person took us to a nice booth by the window. The miso soup was hot and the tempura was tasty, but from here everything went down hill.
Spicy tuna hand roll, covered in tons of mayo red sauce.
Then asparagus maki smothered in mayo sauce.
Then scallop rolls drowning in mayo sauce.
Some sushi places might put a light drizzle of this mayo based sauce. Like a small zig zag from a squeeze bottle. Here they pour it on like gravy. Disgusting. We brushed off as much sauce as possible and ate most of it. We left the place with our stomachs churning.
So gross…

I’ve only been here for happy hour, but the prices are awesome for the rolls and the cocktails. The drinks are plentiful, fairly strong, and best of all… cheap. What more could you ask for?
From the look of the bar area, this place turns into a club of sorts from time to time.

large tasteless, bland pieces, rice fell apart 2 stars

chewy tako bits, cucumber slices, a dab of sweetend seaweed 2.5 stars

4 bland pieces of mushy shrimp (commerically chinese breaded?) many veggies
4 stars for value, 2ish for taste
–chicken yakitori (3)
chucky chicken bland, tasteless, not marinated. 1.5 stars
temaki:
–good value (4 stars) for terrible food.(2 stars)
–bartender (stella?) busy setting up bar, frazzed trying to service patrons too
service kind of abrupt. was menu tossed to me? probably unintentional. ignored it
–beer best bet. mixed drink tastes funny
–flatscreens tuned to sports
–lots of seating, lots of parking in lot. (noticed patrol car in lot too).

This place used to be the old Peppermill. Mirrors on the ceiling with plastic vegetation covering the ceiling mirrors. It was always dark and moody inside. Now its a Sushi and a Vietnamese Restaurant. The service is wonderful and attentive most times. The food here is usually very good. Prices are a little high but we have had very nice times here.

Came here last night, because we would drive past it all the time. Sign «Happy Hour» of course new spot, want to check it out, so we did. Empty for a Thursday night. We sat in the lounge area. Folding chairs totally uncomfortable, tables not as clean. Besides all that, benefit of the doubt, lets try their happy hour menu. Which was limited. We ordered the following:
Chicken Yakatori — Dry
Imperial Roll — OK
Crispy Chicken Wings — ok
Mackerel — good
Hot Sake
Kiri 16oz — beer is beer, but cold is better.
The food was nothing that stood out to make this even a 2 star. Service was not on it’s «A» game. Bartender paid more attention at the bar then handling 3 tables out on the floor area. (NOT BUSY AT ALL, PAY ATTENTION) Just because we were not regulars, we should still feel as if we are getting the same service all around. Waited for our bill for a hot minute, no one came back to close the bill out. So after 15 minutes i walked up to the bar and just paid it. Didn’t want to leave a tip, but i figure this review would break even with it.
It was better off being Peppermill back in the day. However, music was cool. I take it they have DJ’s spin on special nights. which maybe i should come back and see how it is then. But last nights first impression. sure says a lot about the restaurant in its entirety.

Been here a few times, I love da garlic noodles and da ribs. I can grind on those all damn day. Bar service is cool, good service in der also. I will come back. Even tho da Cali rolls werent that good, but den again I was grindin on dem noodles and ribs. Good shit.

This place has an awesome happy hour from 3−7pm. Plenty of appetizers and sushi rolls for $ 3 each. Can’t beat the price
